I have always loved this room makeover. Such fabulous colours and unique furniture.
Love the black touches, the florals, and the silk drapery. Removing the top shelves was brilliant. It is busier overall than I would choose, but it works well. Is there no ensuite bath? Unusual to have a sink in the dressing room. Great that you kept some textured, restful white touches.
I love everything Sarah designs. If I ever won the lottery I would definitely want Sarah to design my entire home.

THE LITTLE ROUND MIRROR ABOVE THE HEAD BOARD IS CHEESY. UGH,,,,,,,,,,ART WORK WORD HAVE WORKED OR. IRON SCROLL ART. OTHER THAN THAT, ITS OKAY.
I stumbled onto Sarah and Tommy and found them to be real, not afraid to show their mistakes too!

I love her! I'm so happy she didn't go to a traditional design school and become brainwashed, or be restricted by the status quo of trends and fads. Love seeing how she pulls it all together. It's always stunningly classic, and timeless!

Why are all the books put in backwards? Thats just stupid!
It might just be for tv purposes… you can’t show logos usually on tv without permission or try to influence false sponsorship, some people are book people who watch out for best sellers or might offend if they’re religious scriptures
It's a design choice.... perfectly useless, the average person wants to see book titles. Designers always need to change things up, doesn't have to make sense, lol.
Backwards books and color coding books into the rainbow were big design trends, not sure if it's died out yet. I'm an avid book lover and while colour coding books looks cute, the idea of buying books just to coordinate the binders into coloured groups is too pretentious 😂

I truly love Sarah and Tommy together so much ,they have that best friend chemistry that's amazing if U work together that U maynot have with another great friend and I just adore them .

OK I really liked everything and it’s beautiful but what made my jaw drop was when you saw the headboard which is gorgeous but above the headboard is this tiny little mirror and it looks so out of place like this to be bigger or not there at all but I don’t know everything I thought what went together surprisingly very well

The ONLY thing I would do differently is to put a larger mirror above the bed!
The small mirror is an inspired counterpoint.
Jaime says she wants somewhere in the home where she can be herself, not "mom." It's designed with this in mind. I don't see how it's kid-friendly, nor why it should try to be.
Exactly! It's the master bedroom. It doesn't have to be child friendly.

Lovely makeover, but I was surprised at the color you chose for above the paneling. When you started and showed that blue floral pattern, I thought you were going to go with that darker smokey blue for those walls. And for a more moody look.

Sorry but white on white (which I LOVE) is to me a blank canvas and I (seasonally) add color. Also, it seems to me that GREY is the new white. Except at my house. Cheers.

Gorgeous as always but why the heck didn't you line the Roman shade, if as you stated its main purpose is to block out light? You could see the sunlight streaming right through it as it was being installed! 🤣

That floral fabric is hideous. There is no way that I would allow then to paint my white paneling. I love Sarah and thomy. But this does not work for me. The shape of the headboard doesn't work for me either.

Beautiful after! But here’re my problems with it: where did the tv go? Why are the books faced backwards? you can’t even read the book titles. I like makeover videos but here’s my problem, it mostly renders room way less functional
The clients were looking for a restful, grown-up bedroom with no extraneous functions. The bedroom is supposed to be a sanctuary, not a multi-purpose room.
There is a small TV in the left-hand bookshelf. The wrapped books are a design conceit, totally silly.
@Paul Altman The function of a room would be whatever you define it to be, it can be a sanctuary or it can be a multi purpose room, in this case they wanted a sanctuary. But I don't know anyone who would trade a big tv for a small tv just because the large tv in the center of the main wall looks bad. Only people who have the books for decor would want books kept backwards. But if that's the case, why would you have decorational books in your bedroom? I don't know.
Everything's beautiful except Tommy's bow tie! Gotta lose it. Love the floral!!
In the bedroom I think they were refering to other kinds of stains, not kids' stains...

It’s old. I’m pretty sure he has moved on. Loved them both together but all good things come to an end.
Gorgeous results. I don't like the drapery fabric but everything go well together. The total picture is wow!
I don't think florals for a husband & wife's bedroom is good choice. Just sayin. Room is pretty but looks too feminine.
The florals are such a small component of the overall look, and the husband liked the fabric!
