What I like tremendously: making the office into a dining room; using a kilim as a wall art; putting together stainless and butcher block in the kitchen; color-blocking the walls. What I applaud but don't think works well: the backsplash.
I don't like the backsplash or the metal diningroom chairs. Everything else I really liked.
I love Sarah Richardson's attitude and sense of adventure!
Loved loved loved the dining table and the deco armchairs, the colours throughout the entire area worked so well, the whole space had a really cohesive look, perfect ….l loved this makeover. Tommy is a treasure, so funny.
Could not agree more- loved it. Hope there was a separate bedroom though as that did not rate a mention!
Initially I couldn't see how this would work out--- but alas Sarah does it again. Love seeing her and her team pull this unusual space together! Kudos again, Abode for these Sarah episodes! Love them all!

I was not liking all the various colors, especially on the backsplash. But, I have to admit, Sarah pulled this one off beautifully and it all goes together.
This was my favorite design they have done. Brilliant in every way!
Love this design and space so much! I know they went for a masculine vibe but the colors and different textures with industrial items make it lux loft! I want to live there!

Awesome space. The backsplash was a great idea. The cutout is very smart. I was impressed with the attention to budget and the use of different paint colors was a cheap way to add interest.
Sophisticated use of color and clever solutions as always.. love you and your team, Sarah!
I LOVE it. I didn’t think I would (though I always trust Sarah will pull it out in the end). But this one is way cooler than I thought it would be.
And love Tommy’s green shirt-vest combo. Always sharp, Tommy.
Agree, sometimes her designs are just not quite on point. This one I was pleasantly surprised how good it turned out.

I know it’s trivial in the larger scheme here but I love the gears on the kitchen wall. It’s a great space and the scale of the items works really well. The dining table is especially good.
I do love the end product. I was not crazy about the colors but wow it works 😊👍
Did anybody notice that around 9:34+ if you look at that purple wall it looks like somebody got purple paint on the white trim. On the right hand side?
Isn't it ridiculous? I am looking for an area rug for my living room. And when I find a rug I think I like, I asked myself first: Would Sarah Richardson approve of my choice? I know I should rather ask if I approve, but I cannot help myself. Do you think I am obsessed with Sarah Richardson?
I would have spent the money and bought a bit of glass backsplash.
Those polka dot pillows say 14 year old girl. But the rest of it is awesome!

When I first saw this episode, I didn't get it. I still don't love the colors she used (I would have liked a bunch of black in the space) but the client was happy, so that is all that matters.

It was curious how he lost his semi private work space for the dining area. My guess a bachelor doesn't invite that many people over to eat at one time. And who is going to CRAWL under a table for anything stored in the base???! I am assuming he was screaming for his refrigerator back. What he had was better than that retro nightmare and it was FREE!! So why bother with the boards, paint the wall and poly it?? It's the paint and poly that are protecting the wall from water. sigh. I thought she was going up with the cabinetry to give him more? That was a fail. It always looks good--it's just not often budget friendly and practical.
Sarah is a professional designer. People don’t hire her for diy budget ideas, lol.
Loved, loved the back splash on the kitchen.
Love this a lot, however... you couldn't spend a lot of money on a refrigerator, so why not keep the one he had? The "new" one is cute, but who wants to go from a frost free fridge to one you have to defrost? Other than that, I love this make over.

This is not an apartment or a livable space, this is a very comfortable modern looking office hang out. he doesn’t live there, he only works there, Unless the place is bigger than what we saw in the bedroom is attached to this open space as well as the bathroom because we didn’t see either
I think the bedroom is an open space behind the yellow mustard wall with the multiple hanging prints. Bathroom by entry door.

Sarah is the wrong designer for a masculine industrial look. Polka dots and yellow is girly, Im surprised she did not use baby blue and pink. My idea of a masculine loft is black brown and gray. Brick and wood. The backsplash is a girls idea of masculine .They took is adult desk and gave him a kids desk.

It’s probably in the space to the left of the kitchen where they entered into the unit.
