Farewell Hoss I love to watch Bonanza. I watched the Flintstones as Fred was a sheriff of the day and Barney Rubble as a deputy. As they teamed up against notorious brother outlaws and the Cartrocks saved them. My favorite comedian Red Skelton farewell to the greatest funny comedian ever. That's classic comedy show back then.
When Red "lifts" Dan by the lapel, it's obvious that he didn't expect Dan's expertly buoyant hop which caused Red to squelch a laugh. I replayed it about ten times. Amazing, Hoss, just great.
what a great clip, I love Dan Blocker, such a cutie and a great actor. Miss him so much, Hoss was a great character and he was a great man. Cute Cute Cute
I hadn't heard the name Dan Blocker since I was a kid. But I still remembered who he was, at least as far as the acting role he played on the show Bonanza. A gentle giant slow to anger but once angered there was never any doubt the outcome being in his favor.
Yes, that is where I recognized her from! She was Mrs. Bellows - I think. Her name was Emmaline Henry. Sadly, she died in 1979 at only 50 years old. She was a very pretty lady.
This lady is Emmaline Henry, best known for playing Mrs. Amanda Bellows (wife of Dr. Bellows), on the TV series "I Dream Of Jeannie". Unfortunately, she passed away back in 1979.
A few years before dan died he was here in nfld canada moose hunting. He was nice guy to talk to.lorn told him should go there for a hunting trip.was said he told everyone how beautifull it was and how nice the people was here.
He had a sister Ora Virginia Blocker (1921-1933) only 11,5 years old when she died, her cause of death is unknown i read that Dan barely remembered her as he was only 4 years old when she died.
I always loved Red Skelton great actor and clown. Dan blocker was the horse behind the Cartright, great guy, the dame is too just as good only i dont know who she is.
Dr. Bellows was to I Dream of Jeannie what Mrs. Cravitz was on Bewitched - both hapless victims of hocus pocus and both had spouses who's name began with the letter 'A'.
Why???? What do you have against Dan Blocker??? I just ask??? Dan Blocker was a Lovely and Kind Man. Have you seen him in Bonanza??? He was so sweet and nice..
Red Skelton was a classic comedian. Bill maher bashed him and other comedians from the past as not funny. I guess because they didnt use F. word every second. The truth is bill maher isnt funny.
Hoss the gentle giant .... my fave Bonanza character !
Dan was the best.Broke my heart when he passed away. Gone to soon. Love the show Bonanza.
He was my favorite Cartwright.

Yes, that is where I recognized her from! She was Mrs. Bellows - I think. Her name was Emmaline Henry. Sadly, she died in 1979 at only 50 years old. She was a very pretty lady.

The Hoss before the Cartwright!!! Only Red...........
Great sketch. But listen to the curse word that slipped through at the 0152 mark.
Great video. Thanks for the memories, what's left of them. I can not even remember for sure; was that Eve Arden? Thanks for posting.
Poor audio. I still love Dan and Red.
I belive Skelton & Blocker played the Palace back in '29...
1929? Blocker was born in 1928.
Great
Could somebody please get the volume right?
He had a sister Ora Virginia Blocker (1921-1933) only 11,5 years old when she died, her cause of death is unknown i read that Dan barely remembered her as he was only 4 years old when she died.
Dan Blocker; the biggest Teddybear. Didn't he have a PhD and teach highschool English?
Two beloved entertaiment giants.Rest in peace Red and Dan (I'll see you both later...)
Skelton was no shrimp. Blocker was quite a bit taller.
dr bellows wife on I dream of jeannie, emmaline henry
She also played John Astin's wife on "I'm Dickens, He's Fenster"
Thought she looked familiar.
Thanks
I wanted to say arlene golonka, another forgotten one.
I always loved Red Skelton great actor and clown. Dan blocker was the horse behind the Cartright, great guy, the dame is too just as good only i dont know who she is.
de que murio Dan Blocker?
What was that thing she was talking in to?
Wow man they must live in Indiana... Don't you know!
She was also on I dream Jeanne
Wasn't she was Mrs. Bellows, wife of that military doctor on I Dream of Jeanne.
Emmaline Henry. I had to look it up, lol.
Amanda Bellows, wife of Dr. Bellows and all around busy body.
Yes. The Mrs. Crabapple of I Dream of Jeannie.
Dr. Bellows was to I Dream of Jeannie what Mrs. Cravitz was on Bewitched - both hapless victims of hocus pocus and both had spouses who's name began with the letter 'A'.
What show was the actress on? She's familiar, but I can't place what show she was on? Nevermind,, I think she played Vinton's wife on Mama's family.
Sounds like it.
Per the IMDB this was broadcast 11/9/70.
thnx, thought earlier-
@dkmckinney1 It was Emmaline Henry
It is it's Mrs bellows from my dream of Jeannie
@gfpirate yea very pretty competent actress--went to soon-i thought she stole the show here--worth mentioning in the post surely
talent gone too soon-
Funny stuff! (But the audio really blows....)
OK? around 1:50, does she say O--S**T?
Fact! Red Skelton is my great grandfathers second cousin. So Red Skelton is technically blood related to me.
Love to hear these bits of history...TY for sharing! Cheers
lucky
GASPUMPFILMS You didn't happen to inherit some routines of his? 😉

Was this what folks watched in the great depression
Lol😇☺️☺️
Vídeo BAIXO
Oh and bill maher called him red skeleton lol
Day might have lived longer if he had been smaller.
1:51 - Did she just say Shit?
Sure sounds like it
Hoss dated Mrs. Bellows
Dan Blocker looks like Chris Farley here...
Lástima que los diàlogos estàn en ingles.
Red Skelton was a classic comedian. Bill maher bashed him and other comedians from the past as not funny. I guess because they didnt use F. word every second. The truth is bill maher isnt funny.
Emmaline Henry was not that bad looking. Why do they make her seem so unattractive in this skit,?
Not my kind of woman
And this was supposed to be funny?
it was
Lame as hell
