@@BarlowBBQ Thanks! Love your channel! Full disclosure: I got the lemon juice tip from watching Cowboy Kent Rollins. Feathers and Fins = lemon juice, meats? Use lime juice.
Turkey was good, but turns out we needed to let it go longer on the pit so it would render a bit more and be more tender. But lesson learned! Thanks for being here, Chris we appreciate ya!
Thank you to all who died fighting for our country that allow us to do these things. Even if it's just coming together through videos right now. Have a great weekend you guys!
Pretty cool Jamie and Matthew! I’ve never had a wild turkey leg, but had the other wild turkey years ago. That looks pretty good, and some nice sauce Martha! Take care y’all and keep on grillin!
The turkey leg tasted great, but just needed to let it go longer for it to get tender. Had no idea, probably would've helped to look at some recipes before we made the video lol 😅
Personally, I’d say wild turkey is too tough for this type of cooking. I’m not sure if a slower smoke would work better? I would rather go and find a good slow cooker recipe that’s nicely seasoned and cooks for at least five or six hours.
Ok. Love the channel but I need some advice. When I use my pit barrel the fat drippings that land on the coal always end up making a bad smelling smoke that makes the food taste bad. How do does everyone avoid this? Super disappointed with it....😞
I love wild turkey.!
Thanks for sharing. You said you were going to put the recipe for the rub in the description, but I can't find it.
Sorry Randy! Let me go take a look and I'll be sure to put the recipe in there if I don't see it. I appreciate the heads up!
Nice dry turkey lol
Was it tough??? I don't have much luck with them.
Yeah, wasn't the best
Looks great! You could always try tenderizing the meat with some lemon juice before seasoning it. Thanks for a tasty video!!!
Sounds like a good idea, thanks for the tip!

Great job guys! More and more I'm leaning towards getting a PBC.
Hey, Jamie is a natural! And that was one sexy application of the saucy-sauce. It must have been fun hitting all the sauce on this cook! ;)
Skin on?
Yep!
