I have a similar 2019. Great little trailer. Held up very well for 900+ mile trip. F-150 with 2.7 Ecoboost, max tow package and 3.73 rear axle tows 8000 lbs. and had no problem at all towing over the Smokey Mountains. Wish mine had the upgrades (tires, auto stabilizers, receiver hitch, etc.). Love that it has two batteries and two 30 lb. propane tanks. Helpful hint: Get a Superbag or similar. A little hard to make the bed otherwise. Also know that if you have a cat, it can get behind the sofa and straight out the storage opening if you left the door open.
We have one of these. Got it just before winter and have only been out once so far. We love it.
Great looking Frameless Windows. That's the first thing I noticed. It makes it look slicker and smoother, plus I bet chicks Love it. And if They love it, then I love it. If I had Extra money, I'd buy a Travel Trailer too. Good Swivel for the T.V., and Nice Nightstands like that instead of hanging over the bed. Very glad they Include the DVD capabilities. Personally, I think it's a Bad idea, for companies to Exclude that. Cool tires too. I liked it, thanks.
The nightstands are too far away to use while in bed but there is about an 8" wide shelf that runs the length of the windshield and is perfect for a drink, CPAP, phone, etc.
Perfect fishing pole cubby. I am a tent camper but when it's raining - I watch UA-cam in the tent so I can see TV as a good option.

is the word that comes to mind seeing this Rockwood. Quasi-theater seating, Murphy Bed without foldy mattress & with shocks, storage galore, ducted 15kbtu a/c, counter space, shower height, shower water saver, rack and pinion slide, and solar option. Tim the Tool Man in me loves tandem axles even with the added weight. I’m not thrilled with tv location and no passthru storage but slide out cargo ‘colon’ storage area are great. Still towable with my 4.7L Tundra. 👍🏻 awesome sauce!
the pass-thru under the sofa is easier to access on the door-side but the stupid lock was literally frozen from the cold. It happens now and then this time of year.

It is always great to get another video from my favorite S.O.B. (for anyone that isn't an insider; B is for boss).
This is an awesome alternative to the Geo Pro 19FB!! As a matter of fact, I like it better than the GeoPro! A GeoPro with functional storage. A couple may be able to actually stay out for a week without having to head in for more food. I really like those pantry spaces in this option. The TV, with it's articulate arm, is closer to the theater seats. Thank you for showing it!! TGIF to you; have a great weekend!

Love our 2016 2104S! Been tempted a few times to get an new and larger unit, but just couldn't part with it. I do like the kitchen area better in this. Great improvement.

I love it! I would go will the full tilt boogey solar, inverter package and also put a solar generator on it. Wish it did not weigh as much as it does, tho.
In my opinion this the best couples camper out there i have the 2020 model and it rocks love the upgrades on the 2021 model but still the best. That oven will cook a 13 lb. turkey by the way, saved my mom's thanksgiving. This is a deluxe apt you tow to where you want to stay. I just can't say enough about this one.

What a killer design and overall look to this rv! I have a very deep appreciation for the panel that covers the mattress when the bed is up. That always irks me in other models.

Wow I love the light colour scheme, it looks so open and spacious - love the kitchen and the bathroom! And Josh, the sit down and give the 'view' from a couple of spots, that was brilliant please do it again! This is a nicely laid out camper, I could really see myself in something like this even though it is smaller. If you had a crew cab truck storage wouldn't be an issue either.

Exterior storage is tight so I flip up the back seats in the F-150 and use that for overflow. Interior storage amount is kind of insane for a trailer this small.
I own a 2014 (2104S). Put plenty of miles on it. I up graded the kitchen to larger counter space and sink. If i ever need to replace it i will get another Rockwood. The best in its price range.

Another great review, Josh! I have been kicking around the idea of a Geo-Pro, but your description of this being a bigger version of a Geo, has me intrigued. I like the extra space in this floor plan, and having an actual sink in the bathroom. Does this model have a black tank flush? Enclosed underbelly?

6:14 even with floorless vents the drawer space in the kitchen is great❗️👍🏽 + those ✌🏽 door side 🚪 drawers for your “on the go” outside needs & a handy Junk Drawer (Catch All) drawer where you need it (rarely in the kitchen) is ideal‼️👍🏽👍🏽 All around the storgae is great for a small TT like this (overhead cabinets over the U-Dinette + around & under the bed/couch)❗️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

@@JoshtheRVNerd Yes! Your tour's are the best, you really take your time and point out important things, and really get me jacked up on the coach you are in. Me and my wife just recently bought the Rockwood 2205s which is super sexy for us, and one of the things we learned from your videos is that we did not want to settle on a jackknife bed. Not only did we not want to goof with that at the end of the night and morning but we upgraded the mattress and now sleep well and can see the super sexy front window, all the time. Wish we could of bought from you but, that wouldn't of worked being 2k miles away. Keep up the good work, I keep watching and telling others about your video's.

Thanks for the recommendation after I mentioned a very similar brand/model in another vid. In comparison, I really like the external features here, including extra storage on the slideout, LADDER, and rear hitch. Internally, I like this unit's L-shaped kitchen. I really like the Murphy frame with legs, and that it has a WINDOW behind it, though the mattress looks thinner.
I guess I prefer a traditional bench dinette (with oversized pano window) over the U-shape. That and I want to be able to tow with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the extra 110 lbs of Tongue Weight here makes it too close for my comfort. That said, this is a great looking unit for any vehicle that can handle it.
PS...I wish Cherokee would make a Wolf Pup Black Label to match this/18RB config. Would be so sick.

Rockwood did it right with this one. I would buy it for the only reason it actually has wardrobes tall enough to hang your clothes in and not have them resting on the bottom of it like 90% of your other trailers where the wardrobe is a laugh. Oh and nice size fresh water tank.

Just a heads up. We purchased a 2020 2204s this last spring along with a 2019 Nissan Armada with air bag levelers to tow it. The tongue weight on this camper is much heavier than what’s listed on the spec sheet. The 800 lb hitch weight rated air bags on the tv won’t lift the tongue of the camper properly. That with load levelers on a r6 hitch setup. Also, make sure you get the 15k btu air conditioner no matter where you live. The 13.5 k can barely handle a warm day even in upstate NY Other than that it’s really a great couples camper so far.
I wonder if your A/C was precisely critically Refrigerant charged? Small HVAC should be charged by precise weight in ounces.

I enjoy everything you do in telling about every camper. I have looked every where for a camper that is 25-26 ft long with no slide a full queen bed,linen closet, coat closet, pantry. LOL... Best RV walk through video I’ve ever seen on UA-cam! Very entertaining, thank you! Also I must admit that tiny trailer was awesome!!! The only let down is, it looks like the Murphy Bed was no bigger than the couch it rested on... Which was just too small for any average size adult much less 2 adults
It’s a camp queen like those found in many. 60” wide and 74” long
I like the white colors more. I think they might show more dirt, but look better when they are clean. I would think white RV's also stay cooler in summer. Probably not as helpful in colder climates!
I think MOST Mini Lite owners would simply move once it gets TOO cold so I tend to like the light colors too. There's just something about that brilliant beauty of an exterior with the upgraded skin color...

@@JoshtheRVNerd I have the 2019 version of this. Pretty much the same except kitchen slide and a booth dinette. The mattress that came with it is too uncomfortable to sleep on. So I got a 1 1/2 inch memory foam topper for about $50, trimmed to fit, and presto! Perfectly comfortable and the bed still folds back into the upright and locked position, something you would need to consider before replacing the mattress.
Yup, just add a foam topper and you’re golden.
Great vid! Just wondering why all campers with bathrooms have a gab between the top of the door and the ceiling?
Not all, but basically it depends on a few things like the air system
Rockwood does it because they use those bigger bath fans. It allows you to keep the bath door closer and still use the fan to get air then the windows
That interior color pallette is very comforting to me. Light and bright without being stark. Very impressive storage everywhere.
Can you swap out a true queen mattress or would that jam up the murphy bed mechanism?
True queen is too long to flip the bed up -- unless you sourced some kind of specialized "bendy bed" (for which I have no suggestions mind you)
Just put a queen topper onto it.

I reached out to your sales rep Wild Bill to see if he can measure the total length of the trailer (rear bumper to hitch), but sales rep was unable to because trailer wasn't available. Rockwood shows it at 22'4" tip to tail. Bill is here, but rarely are any of our staff "looking for work!"

I'm stuck between this and the Winnebago micro mini 2108 DS. How would you compare the two in terms of quality and bang for the buck. I do want to camp year-round so heated tanks and better insulation are ideal. Thanks for your great videos
Both campers have some great points certainly. I don’t like comparing brands we have vs ones we don’t as it often feels one sided
So I will say simply Rockwood is and has been the literal top selling Ultralite for longer than I have even been in this business and continues to dominate the market due to their “best bang for your buck” methods
I don’t think there’s necessarily anything like the perfect camper, but if he twisted my arm behind my back and side what is the best pound for pound trailer out there Rockwood would be my answer without thinking real hard at all frankly.
I will also say during the time we had Winnebago in her lineup They were borderline exemplary in their quality control

Does Rockwood make a 20’ or under mini lite or GeoPro with BH & Murphy bed? Azdel of course. I honestly despise the master bed out of the dinette sideways setup. 1/2 ton truck capable. I prefer the GeoPro for off-road camping. I love the features of Rockwood GeoPro, that’s my preference. Murphy Bed with bunkhouse GeoPro Please?!?
Rockwood isn't currently making a Murphy/Bunk model, but I would love it if they used Wildwood FSX's "Jiffy bed" idea on their 19BH!

In theory it's not the ideal location for it, but in something this small (especially with Rockwood's better suspension) I don't see it as a cause for concern. Your thinking is spot-on though.

It could certainly physically be done, but currently information on that package is frustratingly limited. I wish I could give you more info on what add'l benefits (if any) that may provide you based upon how this RV is wired.
My 2018 Rpod 179 has most everything the Rockwood 2104S with 2000 lbs less weight, bigger kitchen area, and better off-road ability (Hood River addition). It's was the most popular Rpod model until Forest River for some reason discontinued it :-(?! My biggest complaint on Forest River is their level of quality in assembly and materials in their travel trailers including the Rockwood and Rpod lines.
This may be my retirement at a park summer camper. Wish list: 1) Would like to see them move this into the Geo Pro product line with the suspension lift available. 2) Would love the tan exterior over the white as an option for the Geo Pro and Mini Lite series. Edit - looks like that may be an option already. 3) Enclosed underbellies with the gray/black pipes above them would be a nice feature as well. Edit - check off enclosed underbellies, looking into the hang of the drain pipes. 4) Lose the windshield, a waste of money and just an unnecessary hole in the front given the murphy bed configuration. 5) Dual pane acrylic windows with day/nite shades/screens in a frame. 6) Murphy bed/sofa option in the 2109S floor plan. Damn near perfect single/couples trailer.

*2.) TAN EXTERIOR:* That's actually standard on all Rockwood Mini, Ultra, and Signatures. Geo is white-only (basically the white geo pro exterior is offered as an option thru the rest of the lineup)
*3.) PIPES:* I know Rockwood is always working on improving. There's a *LOOOT* of engineering needed to pull that off (not impossible of course)
*4.) WINDSHIELD:* It used to be optional on select models (ie murphy beds), but the demand was overwhelming. People across brands love the look of it, though I don't think they realize the heating/cooling loss you incur as a result.
*5.) DUAL PANES:* You mean those euro-style windows you sometimes see on little teardrops?
*6.) 2109S MURPHY:* They tried that several years ago. People hated it at the time. Suddenly people are asking for it again. Funny how that happens. I never managed to get footage of one -- only stills. There are things like a water heater "hidden" by the bed on that model that prevent a traditional sofa-style murphy bed btw.
