  • NBC organized a wargame on a China invasion of Taiwan. They gathered a panel of specialists to discuss the United States' response to an amphibious assault of the People's Liberation Army on the shores of Taiwan. Another important aspect will be the posture of Taiwan's allies in the region, such as Japan's Self-Defense Forces.

They're not playing a war game, they're fantasizing about war, death and gobs of cash. Those people are insane.

Another reminder of how embarrassingly stupid the MSM is.

Watching the US media do these hypothetical WWIII scenarios is so psychotic. I'm watching my country, my home my family and life just turned into graphics by these sociopaths safe and giddy in their studios in US cities.

The fact that they would not only do this but televise this is beyond comprehension

After Iraq. After Afghanistan. After Syria. After Ukraine... Are we really now expected to believe that the Americans care about the people of Taiwan?

I’m the last American in my family to serve in the military. I’ve talked all of my younger cousins (15 of them) out of serving and sacrificing their youth for the sociopaths in Washington. Washington is literally insane .

In the Korean War the China's People's Volunteer Force literally fought the whole United Nations and United States single-handedly. The USA and UN Forces had beaten back the North Korean Forces all the way from inside South Korea to the North Korea-China Border. Mao warned US-UN Forces not to approach China's Border. Of course General Douglas MacArthur thought the Chinese would not dare to join the War and even bombarded the Borders at Yalu River. China's PVC then entered the War and managed to push back the US and UN Forces back to the 38th Parallel. Same thing happened in 1962 China-India Border War. The Indians thought China wouldn't dare to fight but the Indians were proven wrong. In all these cases China's patience were mistaken as a sign of weakness! Let's hope the US ... NATO and Allies don't make the same mistake. When China says the red line they mean the RED LINE.

Considering the amount of national debt, internal instability, it is not inconceivable to imagine that there are those who want WW3 as a form of saving grace.

As a non-American it's always super weird when I'm exposed to regular US TV programing like this, it feels like TV clips out of Robocop or some other Paul Verhoeven movie.

Question regarding “how many local Taiwanese will be helping China” is spot on. No one dares to discuss that question in public yet. There will be ugly hunt for snitches and collaborators from both pro-China and pro-independence camps for sure.

Playing Conquest in Battlefield with the boys during lockdown had more strategy than their 'war game' 😂

The war game on NBC is basically what the military of Serbia and Montenegro did during war gaming. They had two teams one was destined to win while the other attacked or defended recklessly and had some unimportant and arbitrary objectives set up for them to purposely lose.

Interestingly, a more interesting thing is that if there were a real war, it would be better if Japan did not participate. If Japan did participate in the war, it would stir up the historical memory of the Chinese people. By then, the voluntary enlistment of the whole country would probably shock the world. I am also willing to go to the battlefield for this, which is probably what the United States wants to see. China is actually not interested in other countries.

This scenario seems to entirely rely on the idea that China would do exactly what they want it to do which is rediculous

They’re treating this like ww2. They think they can achieve an decisive crucial blow to one another in one battle but no. They underestimate the capabilities of the Chinese and nato forces and it would be very scary to see an actual conflict like this with people like this in charge.
