I saw your post on Reddit and just had to check it out. I can't wait to get my 3d printer and do stuff like this.
@@greasysteve5671 Thank you! It's incredible to be able to design and build projects with a 3D printer. Although there are some limitations, the amount of possibilities is insane!
Try putting a brushless motor on each wheel. That would be metal
@@pcrashford5367 Yeah, that is so cool! But someone already did that on UA-cam... 👍
@@michaelsaint7325 Hi Michael. I like my printer but keep in mind that if you plan to print technical materials such as ABS you will have to get an enclosed one or close it somehow like I did. This is really important. Also I use CATIA professionally but I also like and use Fusion 360 which is great. You don't need anything more than that. Good luck!
Your neighbours are gonna love you for this great invention.
I was sick of all the noise and pollution from my electric motor. This seems much more green to me.
Of course! They couldn't be more grateful for this. It was a nightmare for them to hear the electric motor at 5 am in the morning... Even birds are thanking me for all the smoke I'm producing and they sing as a reverence!
Too bad it only lasted for a single day... After recording this video I decided to go back to the dark side of being silent and eco-friendly.
Thanks for your comment! 😊
@@EliteWorm yeah eco friendly with batteries thats needs to be anihilated completely to get any close to green....
That small engine can run on alcohol and nut oil 100% green, where does your fuel come from? Coal powered plant? Nice
@@kitecattestecke2303 Facts
Sound like a sarcastic bitch
Yes, but this guy uses a two-stroke engine... In addition, the fuel for nitro is mostly methanol + nitromethane and a little bit of lubricant. As you may know, nitromethane and burning oil are not the most environmentally friendly components, but they allow the nitro engine to produce phenomenal power. And so yes, this engine can run on methanol and lubricants.
You've created the first Scooter Jeremy Clarkson would use.
Exactly! I'm so proud of that 😂
Awesome build. I can’t be the only one who noticed you could just use a throttle cable instead of the electronics, but nice job staying with the rc theme. Definitely inspiring.
Sounds like a beast from your bottom cam. Then it sounds like a miniature RC vehicle on your main cam hahaha.
looooool mini goped
That’s probably bc its from a mini rc vehicle
Trophy 3.5 thats a similar engine
7 year old kids on Fortnite when they die: 9:43

I always like to watch something unique and this is one of them. I know its not worth it nor the time or tools to make that work but what I like is the implementation of human brain and knowledge into projecting whatever comes into your mind. Thanks for sharing!
Wow mate, thank you SO much for that. Yes, if I'm honest it's not something you do in a couple of days but at the end I think it's worth every hour spent :) Thanks for watching!
It’s people like you who are underrated. Keep up the good work man! 👍
Thank you so much for that. I'm just starting this channel :)
We live in a world where this guy has less than 2000 Subs and some guy playing video games 24/7 over 10 Millions....
Awesome work my friend :)
I truly appreciate that, mate 😉 I will keep building things and try to do it better 💪
This is SO underrated , this is Amazing!
That's some proper modeling right there! Very cool 😎 👌
Very nice work! Neat and professional. Well done and keep it up.
Thank you!
i saw that the engine still had plenty of torque at max speed that could potentially be used for a higher top speed. A different gear ratio isn't an option, since the engine would struggle to, or not even launch without help. A variable transmission (such as in a moped) would be perfect to take advantage of the full potential of this engine, and with your genius engineering you would be more than capable to incorporate one in this build. I hope you consider my idea and sorry for my bad english (not a first language).
Great job! Keep on such projects.
Thank you! Stay tuned, new ones on the way... 😉
Impressive build!
This is crazy.. I love it👍👍
WOW... man, you did some quality work making this thing. It is almost inspiring me to do something similar on a Razer scooter (to simplify weight and make it portable). Great job!!
Thank you, I'm glad that you like it! Good luck with your scooter 😉
Now that was cool.. Nicely done :)
That is honestly a great idea
9:43 when its my turn to speak in online class
What a Elite project, Wow
Thanks for the video. Great work man
Coolest sounding scooter
You deserve so many more subs great work!
Thank you mate! I'll keep building stuff 😉
100 points to Slytherin. Top work lad 👌
Hahaha thank you!
Small nitro engines makes INSANE hp for their size. If this engine was only 100cc in size it would produce 78HP. That’s insane. But, it’s only 3.5cc and it produces about 2.5-2.7hp. Also, they make much larger .50 sized nitro engines. And even .21 engines that are much more powerful than the one that you used.
It almost sounds like an angry bee bumbling down the road
This video basically just defines the whole fact of the electric scooter.
Gracias Alberto. Eso se intenta :)
Amazing man
excelent job
I just wuld have used a break wire from a bicylce instead of electronics and a servo
Excellent work! Bravo! Does the 3d printed gear hold?
Thank you, mate! 3D printed gears are the weakest point in this project due to the forces involved... The type of plastic used must be chosen carefully! PLA does not work.
Soooo cool
0-60? :D love it dude, energy efficiency and mileage is much better now, I guess
I think I will have to assemble the whole thing again just to measure the top speed... And no! I think a private jet is cheaper than my scooter now! 😂
Jajaja no estaría mal eh?!
Consider making another one with air airplane nitro engine, they're generally much bigger, run slower but have much more torque. I'm thinking something like a 26cc OS 160FX or something! Would need to be fitted with more cooling fins though, or maybe some kind of integrated fan to cool it down.
Great craftmanship skills man!
Thank you for the tip!
Clutch would be kind of a problem.
Or just skip that and just give at a push start and then don't stop anymore, like it was in really old motorcycles? ;)
Liftable friction roller would also be possible, if you don't mind the tire wear.
@@VintageTechFan tbh for someone with good machining skills, making a custom clutch to fit on an airplane engine crankshaft would probably not be an issue.
I have a fp 40
What about a spindle? Friction drive?
nice
I like its sound.
Muy bueno!
woooow crazy dude
Nice video broo
Mad man.
Haha time to piss off the neighbors with one of these 😂
That’s really hard on the engines clutch good idea though
Awesome
Take that to a RC track haha that be cool to show off
Sure! 😁
It sounds like a star wars space ship
Gut Arbeit gut gemacht. Das ist Modellbau😊 Nitro Motor. Gruß aus der Schweiz im Aargau 5036 Oberentfelden
Nice man I've got a spare nitro engine and looking for ideas what to do with it
From the bottom cam it sometimes sounds like a Audi 5 cylinder hahah, nice build btw!
Yes it does! 😁
great innovation / it's a HOBBY for those who has all the equipment that were used / not for average men or women.,.buying those gadgets can get a ready to ride scooter,,,
Exactly Roy! Thanks for you comment 👍
Poor little nitro donk, I honestly thought it wouldn't make a difference to the performance but it does! The design & 3d print work is amazing
I'm happy to read that, Daniel! Thanks for your comment.
I seen a goat say butts.but this guy should be President!nice video bro..now I can reuse my old engines.
That engine struggling lmao.
It’s actually not struggling at all, it’s way undergeared so it’s overrevving. It can take more load than what it’s taking. Also the fact that the guy would never hold it wide open and was constantly blipping the throttle made it sound like it was struggling when it wasn’t. He should’ve held it wide open more
@@rcbrosproductions9129 having a nitro engine full chat can damage the engine if you're not careful
@@alfiecartwright9655 Exactly, it’s majorly undergeared. Like I said it needs more load on it.
A hybrid nitro/electric system would be awsome.
Maximum power! 💪😁
Vaya obra de arte
Muchas gracias!!!
im shocked it moved soo well , i would have assumed it would need 100-1 reduction , looks like youre running about 50-1
Some of these little engines have several horsepower.... Pretty expensive to fuel it though, as a gallon of nitro fuel for them is about $40 a gallon.
What was top speed do you know? I have a four stroke os rc engine if its powerful enough im gonna do the same as u whats the top speed
Great project! Top speed,runtime?
OK thanks I love your channel your so creative i'm making a gas scooter myself and its on a 25cc engine and my body is my old Rx 200 electric scooter
Now it’s a hybrid :)
it was fun :D
but not too E anymore
maybe you planing to make a variable filed magned fun video too?
👏👏👏
Did the engine blow fast?
How good is it uphill
I don't know how possible it is but it could be a great idea to have a small engine like that to produce electricity and charge the battery on the go .
10:20 that thing is screaming. Angry and growling high pitched at everything. I want one now. Be great in a kids drivable car
4 strokes best results!!!
Regards
I should use a Toyan 4 stroke engine then! Too bad it's like 2 grand 😂
Is good to put it on sale specially on this days that people use scooters alot.
what program do you use to design the parts?
I use Catia
Now turn it into a hybrid version ;) lots of battery is usually wasted for acceleration and for ride's first push.
Thus, if you use gas for acceleration and battery for maintaining speed, you can get great results and a very economical way of transportation.
Yes! Good idea, although keep in mind that this kind of fuel is VERY expensive... That concept might be great with another type of engine though! Thanks for your comment! 👍
An rc petrol engine say 80cc would give you actual thrust like a lot and also you could rig it to charge like the previous commenter said then it would be revolutionary an ultra lightweight folding hybrid electric vehicle you could run it on bio ethanol and a small amount of cooking oild aswel just for extra environmental benefits I think with the 15mph the e motor gives plus a 3hp big 80cc rc motor should get you a huge range and a fantastic speed I estimate 25 to 30 mph
Nice! Could use a stickier clutch
Looks like a lot of work to turn a quiet mode of transport into something noisy...but the project showed a lot of skill. I am sure you could create just about anything if you put your mind to it!
One detail, it seems like the gears are not made with the optimal tooth design. A belt design might be better for less friction an noise.
Yes, you're totally right! There is no point in doing this project other than having fun... And yeah I'm aware that a belt would have been A LOT better. In fact if I do something similar in the future I'll design with this in mind. Thanks a lot for your comment!! 👍
Creative Channel brought me here, your build is awesome!
How many horsepower is it?
Thank you! It is around 1 HP :)
Thanks!
How has that 3D printed pinion worked out? Is it still running?
That's a weak point. I would design it differently if I had to start over again now. The filament of choice is really important too!
😁👍
The sound is not annoying at all 🤣
Is that runing just of the engine or with the electric motor aswell
Both!
I know it because that little glowing engine can't handle about 100 kgs of weight.
cool for shure but if you fall all that will brake
The only thing i can see that would be a big problem is a weak clutch wouldnt last long there only designed to propel a small rc car that weighs far less than this it would be better to use an external clutch and fix engine one solid so you can make a stronger setup
Круто
What is the speed with the thermal engine ?
Crazy! How many hours of printing?
I don't remember exactly... But it was not a quick print for sure 😂
It is an plug in hybrid scooter
Where did you find that rubber wheel for the starter?
I took it from an actual starter
It’s available to the market
How long did the engine last ?
What clutch shoes are you running in that? How many teeth are on your fell clutch?
Hi Mike. I am running a 3 shoe aluminum clutch.
What was the top speed after?
How much fast ? Speed and vmax km/h?
Sounds like an angry wasp.. lol.. I don't think you'll be making any friends driving that thing in your neighbourhood. Still fun project!
Yeah! It's so noisy. I recorded the video and went back to electric mode only!
How fast it goes
How fast is this beauty
and how much in now speed?
I came from an electric bicycle video, xD
LG best regards from baltiksea
Ja, du hast recht. Vielen Dank für den Kommentar!
How fast it is?
