This was one of the best Videos of yours I have watched so far. If this could be a more regular thing - maybe expanding on the Idea of this one - I would be very keen to watch.
Yes! More setting videos! I love to watch other people’s process and get ideas for new moves or sequences. Jake, you could always add a move before the sloper to bump the grade up a bit. Looked like you could’ve done something out of the overhang. Keep it up guys

This is my favorite episode. Hopefully you guys can do more of this. It's really great to see what goes into setting. Similarly I like when you guys are very specific about the beta and why one way works maybe better than the other. Perhaps combine the two so we can see the same problem from both ends? Great stuff! I've seen so many routesetting videos, and most don't actually show the thought process etc! It was nice to see that Jake's human with a meltdown, I relate to that in my setting!

I would LOVE to see more of this. You might be the first channel to actually film the set itself. There's not enough of this material out there.

Thank you for this! I love watching the people at the local gym set their routes whenever I catch them setting. But to hear the thought process as well is awesome.
For some reason that intro reminds me of a show my dad watched called "This old house w\ Bob Vila" from the 80's gave me a good chuckle.
Please please do some more of these!!!! I've watched it at least 10 times now and I would love to see some other routes built

So, what I find really interesting, and they kinda indirectly mention it in the video, but in gyms in Chile (where I'm living), a lot of it is just put all kinds of holds everywhere, then relying on the climbers to create their own routes with the holds provided. It has its advantages and disadvantages, of course, but I think it's ultimately a good exercise for the climbers

Hard for me to say because I don't set, however the way it normally works is you work at the wall doing something else (working counter etc) then work your way up. Unless u already have setting experience.
I'll add to this - maybe there's a smaller wall, like a school wall, public wall, fitness gym with a tiny wall etc that'll let you set for free etc! :)
Climb hard and know climbing movements
Would be cool to see you set multiple routes in one video. You could talk a bit about how to finish off a boulder and not use too much time on it (which is what I tend to do)

When I set, I do each move as I set them. Seems weird not to. It was on routes, so maybe easier to do each move as you go.
