Might be worth your while or not to invest in. But Ozark trails ( yes I know it's cheap made ), makes a small thin hatchet. It should only take 1 whack with little energy to take off limbs instead of sawing through them with slightly more energy.
It wouldn't be worth it for one pole. But 4 or 5 like you did it is well worth it. So light weight you wouldn't notice it and sharp as a good butchers knife fresh off a steel.
Once you seal it off and add your stove, might need to make a clay door to the front of the stove. It'll stay warmer longer and you won't use as much wood with a good ember base.
Peak in the center dip on the ends. That way you don't have it dripping in front of the door but running off near the sides so you don't end up fitting where your main brace poles are.

Hey Corporal, this build is giving some serious ideas for a project on my property! I have more bamboo available than hard woods, but I've seen some awesome bamboo builds before! I'm a huge fan and anxiously waiting on part 2!! Like I said before....BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME! ✌🤙

I am surprised. When I watched this installment, there had been 32,000 views of this video, and only 5000 likes. CPL AF is doing a good job here, in my opinion, and less than 20% of us are hitting the like button. Let’s shoe Kelly some more support guys.

They don't want channels like this to be at the top. Because informative stuff like this gives people help in disaster situations. They literally don't want everyone self-reliant.

Nothing more spooky AF in those woods than a Marine.
I’ve heard the big cat screams, I’ve heard bears fighting, and I’ve heard tree-knocks, way back deep in the bush.
But nothing is as scary as knowing there are people close by that you cannot hear.

It's really cool how your eyes are open now to actual bushcrafting, these are actually lost ways that we sorely need to remember and utilize. Because something tells me all this will come into play one day. My family was very poor so all this bushcrafting being done now is a welcome sight to what I grew up with and known since I was a child. I really love your videos and the fact that you teach others. If I wasn't half crippled I would be doing the same thing. It just makes sense to be in the woods, some people call it homelessness....being in the woods 24/7...... I call it living... good job AF!!!

Idea: once this camp is finished make a PDF how-to document with instructions, diagrams, tools and materials needed, etc and make that available for us. Then have a contest to see who builds the best one! You are the judge. Cool AF.

im very grateful for having found your channel. ive always had an interest in the outdoors and you showed me how to do it with the right gear, do things more efficiently, outright teach me new things and have made camping an overall easier and much more comfortable experience for me and my friends. prior to having found your channel i had camped twice with some walmart bought tent and sleeping bag, a shit ton of water bottles and canned food, an extra pair of clothes and i used 2 school bags to carry it all. the hikes were horrendous but i still had fun. now im coolin it in a hammock set up like yours and know how to manage / collect water in the field and freeze dried food made such a weight difference my back wrote me thank you letter. thank you corporal sir and keep sendin em!
