HI this truck originally came with the 2F. Did you do this conversion yourself and if yes do you have any links or photos of the conversion? I have a 12ht motor and tranny that i want to install in my fj45 troopy.

I am wondering if you did anything to the internals of the engine to help it handle the increased pressures of the high boost. I have a stock 12HT and am wondering what I would need to do to safely increase power and torque.

Hi Troy, I only used other pistons with a reinforced topring insert. Its a common problem that de pistonrings will smash into the pistons. In my opinion the extra amount boost will not kill your engine. The compression of a good 12ht is about 3000KPA/ 30bars. The extra .9bar that you add doesn't make the difference. On the contrary high EGT's does. The turbo that wink 4x4 developed for this engine has much more airflow that the egt's will be lower than the standard turbo. But I can recommend an intercooler when you will drive more dan 1.0bar boost. For the extra boost you need to screw up the fuel pump.

Hoi, rond de 350nm is standaard geloof ik. Op deze motor zit een aangepaste turbo welke geschikt is voor een hogere turbo druk, en door meer efficientere en lichtere onderdelen in de turbo spooled hij stukken sneller. De brandstofpomp is aangepast op turbo, zodat hij bij elke toerenbereik de juiste hoeveelheid brandstof krijgt. Incombinatie met een intercooler is 3" uitlaat levert hij dit vermogen. Hey guys I just found my dad's old hj45 with the h and a 3 speed but the engine is gone, was there any modifications to the chassis or cutting and welding involved, I wanna get a 12ht and 5 speed in it for him but he would like the frame unmodified, any tips on the conversion would be much appreciated

@@benhuntly2549 I mean, I would think it would have the same engine mounts as the 2H non turbo engine, but the 2H came in the 47 series chasis, which is almost identical to the 45 chasis, but the engine mounts may be different. If the truck is an HJ47, it should be a pretty easy swap, a 45 might be a little bit of work but not too much work.
