Papaya soap can be harsh on sensitive skin. A lot of people complain about breaking out but little do they know, they aren't supposed to be using it everyday!!! Use it 2-3 times a week and space it out... always use an oil based moisturizer to but the moisture back into your skin and seal it. Such as, shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, and castor oil!. I have been using papaya soap since I was 20. I am 34 and I am still using it. Best soap out there. People still think I am in my 20's. I use it for my body and face. It give me a nice glow all over. Result can be slow, but slow result is the best! It took me a couple of months for me to decide to stick with it. Once I did, I never use anything else.

@@bhuvanasmagicalspell I used to use the brand Likas. Now I use any papaya soap I can find online, just read the ingredients first. Look for natural ingredients is better.

Im using papaya soap on my skin..Just papaya soap..And lot of people ask me what is my skin care.I just said I used Papaya soap on my face and body..Im using "Silka"Philippine brand..I gives me a brighter and glowing complexion..But be mindful of using it cause sometimes it will cause some dryness..

hey, this might be a little late but wanted to ask if you still use Papaya soap or do you use other means of lightening the skin?
Papaya soap is really effective to even out your skin tone and fade your dark spots faster, in my case, it does help with my acne as well. It might sting for first time users but your skin will get used to it. It's more of like brightening than whitening because its effect is subtle but you will always have fresh skin when using it without over exfoliating your skin. If you opted for faster whitening effect for your skin use kojic acid soap and please do not use physical exfoliant when using papaya or kojic soap this will make your skin irritated.
If your looking for high concentration papaya soap look for brands from south east asia like Thailand or Philippines. They have so much to offer they also have like combination of different brightening/whitening ingredients like papaya and glutathione soap, papaya and kojic soap, and etc. If you find papaya or kojic soap too drying for your skin use Dove soap every after wash using your papaya or kojic soap to prevent dryness and still get the effect of the said soaps.

i use orange papaya soap face and body, sometime green papaya soap but orange is what works for my skin

At first I have got a wrong papaya soap and it didn't work. But later I bought another one and that turned out to be a handy soap. It just made my skin 10 times whiter than before. But the hands are still the same. Cause I don't wanna waste the soap rubbing my whole body. Good papaya soaps are very rare.

Hello, I have had melasma for 3 years. I've done MANY chemical peels and bleaching creams with no prevail. I recently found 50% glycolic peel I've been doing at home and it's help slightly. upon research, I've found turmeric! I've been using it with a mixture of other organic ingredients and it's help AMENSLY! I'm just curious, how soon after the glycolic peel can I resume the turmeric mask?

How’s your hyperpigmentation now, is it already gone? The one I use is very safe. Depending on the brand. The brand I uses is reccomanded to people with allergy. No strong scent, no strong chemcial effect. Just gentle soap. Papaya soaps usually don't have alot of other ingredients.

I'm a black person, and I used coconut oil on my face, and it darkened my skin. Will my skin eventually turn back to its normal complexion on its own once I stop using coconut oil, or will the darken skin be permanent? If my skin will eventually turn back to its normal complexion, how long do you think it will take.
Girl- first of all stop using coconut oil on your face it’s very comedogenic, it should never be used on the face. People have a misconception that coconut oil is a hydrating & a good humectant but it honestly is not. Also the reason your skin got darker while using it is probably because of the sun. I recommend switching to a good moisturizer that fits your skin type & wear sunscreen everyday. :) hope this helps

Don't spread BULLSHIT here. Many fruits contain glycolic acid. And glycolic acid is DERIVED FROM FRUITS too, so it is natural.
What's more, glycolic acid works to exfoliate BETTER than papain (papaya enzymes) as around 1 to 2% concentration is more than enough, but not the same for papain as the concentration needs is much higher.
That's the difference on how your skin physiology works with glycolic acid VS with papain.
