Ok guys you don't really need to remove the axle nut,that's first,,second before putting your tools on your strut assembly spray some WD 40 on the nuts and bolts you are losing,third ,in order to avoid that axle coming towards you use a jack to hold the CV axle,,,of course all of this if you are a DIY at home

I have a 2009 ford flex and my struts don't even look anything like the struts he is replacing
This only works for the Gen 2 Ford Flex. The Gen 1 Ford Flex has a pinch bolt at the bottom of the strut.
Another great video!! Why aren't you using blue Loctite?
You gotta take the strut off with the hub on first gen Flexes.

To anyone watching, there is literally no need to remove the axle nut. I just did the job following this video, but skipped on the axle nut portion.
What year model is the Flex you're repairing? Turbo?
Can you change them without taking the axel off
