Few more tips from me :) 1) You can take Atlas Keystone for 25% less monster life / 25% more monster damage. I always run it, kinda 25% more damage, pretty good deal. 2) Can go lowlife with 25% aura like Tempest Shield + hybrid life/es defence and Pain Attunement. 3) Can get 1 more 50% aura with Sovereignty reserv circle. Zealotry if u mad about damage :D 4) also can run eldritch battery (if non-lowlife) and get keystone for 40% damage take from mana before life, means ES still protect you. And reserv mana to 0, run 6-link without mana sustaine isues and maybe zealotry+blessing for bossfigts. Overall not necessary but if u want just complete atlas with gear from the ground it can helps. Cause every "more" multiplier scale damage so good!

i tried doing 5link ed + soulrend instead of 6l ed (in staff) so instead of channeling blight i was spamming soulrend with mana flask and the damage was much better on solo target i also think that using staff is pretty much increases your progression speed (cheap cane of unravelling is already fine, but also i discovered that cane of kulemakk with +3lvl, chaos dot multi and spell damage/chaos damage is ALMOST EQUAL to endgame rare staff (for 6linking ed there) being 10 times cheaper)
Bane is perfect for clearing atlas and getting 4 void stones, done this quite a few times now to clear and farm for a higher cost second build. Only thing i will say that gets a little weird is that cross over period of high red maps with alters/Maven. This seems to require basically doubling investment for a crafted chest, Still easy to farm content previous to this, but just something to expect for new players to the build.
What does that mean for the not-so-advanced players? Cross over period of high red maps with altars/maven? And what crafted chest are we talking about?

Why 4 curses with death aura? What content you looking for? I guess you like despair+punish / temp chain+enfeeble. But mobs gonna blow up just from single despair. Or u wanna bossing?

You know you’re one of my favorite contact creators for this I’ve been mulling over what to league start and I gotta say I’ve looked at cold dot trickster, righteous fire, heck ethereal knives, but I keep coming back to your channel for that being so I got to say you know, I am super filthy casual in this game but I got a try bane. One question though what Loot filter do you use? Because I would think that would really help your league starters if you had the loot filter knowledge along with the build.

You can buy a ilv2 from Nesa but there's a trick to it (thanks Ziz), you can get a book to delevel back to lv 1, which makes nesa sell Ilv 2 items (I believe it's a scroll of wisdown + regret orb)

Totally fine, but as with everything there's an opportunity cost so you're giving up some combination of damage/defense but as long as you're ok with the tradeoff you're good.

quick question, in one of your other videos about the bane build you mentioned the possibility of using herald of ash + spell echo later on in the build the make the clear better, but said that it needed a curse on hit ring, why is that? i understand that profane bloom needs that mobs to be cursed in order to explode but doesn't bane already apply all curses?
@@subtractem Can't quite wrap my head around the need for Ash. Overkill dmg applies as a fire dot, but with bane we deal basically no overkill dmg. That would rely solely on bloom to deal sufficient dmg that it overkills nearby enemies, and overkills them hard enough that the ignite is strong enough to kill without basically 0 scaling on our part. We are scaling mostly spell dmg and chaos dot multi, which don't affect neither bloom nor Ash. Don't we need generic chaos dmg scaling to ensure the bloom overkills and generic DoT/ DoT multi for the ignite from Ash?
@@Sith90lord with generic chaos damage, the Blooms deal enough damage to overkill to the extent that the miniscule (but present) generic damage over time increases and multipliers scale the burn high enough to continue the chain. It's honestly more of a chain explosion fail-safe in case the explosion fails to kill mobs here and there and for those just slightly too far.
Ey Substractem, If i were to try Bane build with trickster, what do you recommend to get the last +1 maximum curses so that I can cast 3 with Bane? Thanks so much for your Bane videos, I'm league starting either occultist or trickster Bane
You're missing so much of the point. This is also T10 with Uber lab done. Could have had exarch close to that but stalled on map drops. I am not a top speedrunner and I don't advertise it as such but this is very much faster than average and there's great tips in here.

Just use default neversink on start, you'll be good. After that I update my own and you can follow it on my profile. Cheers!

I've found Bane really difficult to take on the eldritch bosses myself, is it easier with the changes to curses?

With a curse on hit ring profane bloom itself will apply a curse, which will really enable a proliferation with Herald of Ash.

You need explosions for the build so unless you wanna run Obliterations for mapping Trickster is not the way to go
As was said above I just would never play this without profane bloom. It's why i take it as the first ascendency.
Does anything change much with early leveling from bane league starts before? I haven't played bane starting out in a few leagues. Thanks!
Not at all, one of the great things about this build is that once you get Bane at level 24 it's identical up to level 100!

Too much about it was made less comfortable (mana cost, cast time) that I'd look at it for a second build but really not interested as a starter.
As a new to poe player, I'm level 73 just entered act 10. Am I essentially forced to eat an xp penalty until I get higher tier maps?
Yeah you're not going to get much xp until you catch up. More advanced players usually hit act 10 around 60.
