Four years ago I made each one of my grandchildren this bag. I wish I would have taken pictures that I could share with you. Four years ago I only had 8 grandchildren, today I have 12. I am going to make each one another one of these bags. I have to share with you that each one of my grandchildren still have these bags and use them to carry around toys, books, and who knows what else. This is a sturdy bag, one that will last for years, and give great memories to my grandchildren. Thank you for posting a fantastic sewing project. By the way, I am a beginner sewer. I only make simple projects. This is simple but fantastic! Thank you!
I made this as an activity bag for a little guy that loves crayons, and I used crayon fabric! It was a special request from his Grandma. Such an awesome bag for so many uses! Thank You for all you share with us!
Hello Laura, I made 2 of these bags for a couple of little goblins and they turned out perfect! Their mother loved that the bag is washable! Thanks for such a easy and well explained tutorial!
Just made one for my granddaughter. She loves it. The only Halloween fabric I had was snuggle fabric, it still turned out great! Thank you so very much!!!
Thank you for this fun bag. My grands are almost smal enough to fit into this bag mow, but in a few years, they may want it for Hallowe'en, or for a handy carry-all. We could even put some big Kam snaps across the top, for security.
Laura - GENIUS! I have some good news that I can finally share - I'm going to be able to hold my first grandchild towards the end of April 2017. Sew now I can't wait to make/adapt some of your earlier projects! ♥♥
this is such a great project...thank you so much for this. I always love your videos, they are so helpful and your voice is so calming. thank you for doing these.

Just sent this link to my daughter. But Laura, I'm curious about the brand of interfacing stabilizer you used for the bag? I've never seen a brand with that green labeling.
Hi Laura - I just love your video's - always learn so much! I was wondering if you would ever be exploring machine embroidery? I have a machine embroidery machine that I Love and always looking for new ideas for using it. You are such a great idea gal I wondered if this was an area you might explore for future lessons. Thanks! Katie
Sadly, I found your video TOO LATE evidently because Ghouls & Goodies cannot be found anywhere in my area (midwest) including Joann's!! Heck! But I still love your video and will try other fabric not nearly as cute. : (

Hello!!! I have a question, if I wanted to show the inside fabric about two inches at the top, how would I go about that?
You would have to add that band on to the outside fabric,
That's so cute. I love that it's glow in the dark?
