The one time I know for sure I said "God willing", is when my dear husband proposed...I was very surprised, and caught off guard, so after what seemed to me like an eternity, I finally said "Yes, God willing!"

One of the last things my 26 year old healthy son said to me was, " Tomorrow, I will fix your file bin" (a commonly accessible cache he had put on our computers). But that night, he became hospitalized from a car accident that would kill him 6 days later. Since then, I always try to add "God willing," when I say plans.

This is a good replacement for “I hope so.”
Thank you Father for validating this. People will sometimes say “God willing?” And I have to gently remind them that I have no idea what tomorrow holds. My mom would always tell us and still does when she remembers - “si Dios quiere.” God bless you!

Saw the movie “Love God’s Will,” the true story of Father Stan Stawajsz in Texas. Beautiful life story of a young man’s journey to the priesthood and his amazing impact on the people of his parish. A wonderful movie for young and old. Pray that it will head to theatres soon. His mother and brother were at the showing, a remarkable family so dedicated to the Lord.

They are truly good for you, I enjoy putting them as a topping on ice cream 🍦, and blueberry muffins are heavenly, and my husband 's favorite is blueberry 🫐 pie 🥧.
God willing, we will be enjoying eating our favorite foods & berries, as well as participating in our dear Father Mark's You Tube channel, for a long time. I still miss the Food for Life channel, I took notes on the last video that he posted recently, "Lord, give us new hearts" - funny how it all ties in, with our comments today, on food, and hearts! :)

Not my will but Gods will be done.
Since every action we take is determined, free will is just an illusion. Whether god wills it or not is irrelevant. Our future exploits are justified because of our predictive ability and foresight. Except we often get things wrong depending how many factors we take into consideration.

😁 I'm retired and not in good health, talking with a friend realistically about how to make my little bit of money last till I die, realistically estimating age 70. Then told her, you know I still have to be careful because we know God has a sense of humor, and I'll have miraculous healing right as I run out of money and have to go back to work at 70!
