- Hi! Pokemon Present has been shown today with many information that I cannot wait! Two DLC has been announced and I was satisfied with the news.
Game Freak have also given us 2 New Paradox that was already shown in the Scarlet and Violet Book. Many people have made speculation of what they look like and here we go! Their name are Walking Wake and Iron Leaves!

I absolutely LOVE Walking Wake. Caught mine in a Beast ball and I'm definitely gonna use it in the DLC when it eventually drops. Honestly it's a goofy but sick design at the same time. Top tier of gen 9.
Nice. I caught mine in a Dream Ball and named him Siebold after the Kalos Elite 4 member.

Update: Finally finished it 2 weeks ago and caught Walking Wake. It looks so cool yet it's very adorable ❤
it pains me that people are using Iron Hands against Iron Leaves as well as not knowing that Drain Punch is not effective against Iron Leaves
I went and fought this guy solo using Iron Hands and won. Although it helps that mine uses the electric tera type.
Before battling I assumed they were both going to be 7-Star like the Unrivalled event Pokémon or at the very least 6-Star since you know they're both Paradox Pokémon which aren't normally found in Tera Raid battles. I still assume they're going to be pretty difficult to beat
Iron Leaves was for both me & my brother... Walking Wake was easy
They're very easy did both solo
Leaves is kinda ridiculous in raids... teams that should eat it are getting booted before half health

I don't know if anyone has said this already, but as a little detail, walking wave walks on water since it is a paradox suicune
They were a PAIN to catch but I eventually succeeded tip of advice for both versions I recommend you catch Iron Leaves first so that you can use it against Walking Wake to catch it since Iron Leaves has a type advantage over Walking Wake at least during it’s Terastal Raid battle anyway.
What I did for both of these fights goes as follows:
Iron Leaves: This one was fairly easy in my expirience, I used a Level 100 Gholdengo with Nasty Plot, Shadow Ball, Make it Rain and Recover. What I did was use Nasty Plot 3 times, since Gholdengo tanked the Mega Horns and Psyblades, then I spammed Shadow Ball until it died.
Walking Wake: This was was a BIT harder, what I had used was Miraidon. Miraidon can deal good damage to Walking Wake using Electro Drift. All I did for this one was use Electro Drift, and made sure to heal cheer whenever I was low on HP. *I also reccomend using an Iron Hands with Belly Drum, Drain Punch, Close Combat, and Thunder Punch. Thunder Punch can be used to hit Walking Wake after you use Belly Drum as Iron Hands.*
TL;DR I used Nasty Plot Gholdengo for Iron Leaves and Miraidon and/or Iron Hands with Thunder Punch for Walking Wake
I haven’t tried it yet with Walking Wake, but based off past experience in dealing with 5 Star dragon Tera’s, Ampharos is a perfect mon. Gets decent dragon/fairy moves and while it’s not really effective, stab electric tera moves does take out a satisfying chunk of hp during tera shields. In Paradox Suicune’s case this should be a perfect mon to use

I absolutely love Iron Leaves but holy crap I can't even beat it-
It took me a few attempts to beat and capture Iron Leaves, but I eventually did it with a Lv 87 Kingambit with Adamant Nature, a Shell Bell, and the following Moves: Iron Defense, Swords Dance, Foul Play, and Kowtow Cleave.
Funny story: Had a level 72 Miraidon against the Walking Wake. I used Charge because I wanted to power up it's next move. Mind you Hadron Engine was active, Charge was active and Miraidon has a great SpA. Used Electro Drift once, one shot that biih. Felt SO satisfying.
Same thing happened but with a Swords Dance Kingambit to Iron Leaves. Used T-Wave, and Taunt for no SD for IL. I used SD twice then Kowtow Cleave. One shot it before it activated the shield.
I just used a celuledge with swords dance and bitter blade so it could deal alot of damage and heal easily
It was also tera bug and had maxed attack evs
Hopefully this one will make Suicune more powerful, he already is but you know... 😅

That's like me going "OK but choice scarf close combat iron valiant goes brrrr" against iron bundle. But the main thing is if you wanna counter it suicune can terra ice or steel :)

@@Daidek Draco meteor one shots it, and assuming your under sun or scarfed ..the only way iron bundle outspeeds a timid cune is through electric terrain or booster energy
I hope we can find them in the wild in the DLC. Would love to shiny hunt Iron Leaves.

Hopefully at some point they will get proper dex entries as it is odd they don’t have one since they are Paradox Pokémon.

I'm sort of upset about Suicune's retcon. Suicune didnt exist until ho-oh blessed a pokemon (supposedly a vaporeon) and turned it into one of the 3 legendary guardian dog pokemon. THAT is when suicune was 1st born, made, etc (basically the suicune we all know IS the past suicune as well). It's a tad bit confusing now since suicune was born from magic/divine intervention or w/e. now pokemon tells us suicune had a "past self" but isn't suicune already the past suicune? pokemons telling us ho-oh didn't create suicune?
No suicune just was never Vaporeon it was walking wake before being suicune
It’s simple really, the Ho-Oh awakened the power of Walking Wake in reviving the unknown Pokemon that died in the tower which turned it into the Suicune we know now

Well hopefully Iron Leaves and Walking Wake put the imagined Pokémon theory to rest. Let me elaborate a bit for some people the imagine Pokémon theory came from the fact that people believe that the machine made the Pokémon based on the in The Scarlet and Violet book and since these Pokemon look nothing like that means that theory can't be true.

Also before people use Walking Wake’s existence as proof for the imagination theory: last I checked there are multiple legendary beasts (as shown by both the anime and the games, so take your pick as to what canon you prefer) and there is only one brass tower, it shouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume that the legendary beasts are just endangered species that descended from their respective paradox forms. The ones that died in the burnt tower and got revived by Ho-Oh were probably one of those last survivors
Yeah, this theory is annoying as heck. They literally took words and dialogues out of context and built some nonsense out of it.
Some people are even saying that Terapagos is the one that created the paradox Pokemon (based on WHAT?? 💀), when it's clearly responsible for the terastalize phenomenon.
@@that_icy_stylish_bitch these people are such silly little goobers. as for that last part I think that theory came about a few months ago when we still didn’t know about it, people just kinda assumed that Terapagos powered the time machine and drew the paradox pokemon from the imagination of the now dead professors. Idk it sounds like they were making stuff up to support the imagination theory, they are silly goobers after all

I was so happy when i caught my Iron thorns, until i accidentally released it. Now im pissed with myself and i cant get it anymore. I really wish the game had some mechanic to check for stuff like that to re-encounter the pokemon and have a second chance.

You could get it traded
Don't need the online, just an internet connection. The Online is only needed for multiplayer. If you have Violet and wanted Walking Wake then yes you need the Online.

Rocky Helmet Rough Skin Garchomp is something to try....make sure the tera type resists what Iron Leaves uses.

@@lambo344 no, in the terapagos artwork we can see that it has pentagonal plates instead of hexagonal ones, it has more hair than in the drawing in the book, in the book you can see that it is a big ball, but actualluy, it is more of a semi-circle and in book has a crown but not in the artwork

Does anyone else think that the Iron Leaves Tera Raid has dethroned Rematch Cynthia in BDSP as the hardest battle in the mainline series. Ok, just to be clear, I have never battled Cynthia before, but think about it, Iron Leaves literally ignores type disadvantages. That metallic deer was able one-shot my Ceruledge with a Psychic Type move.
I dunno my Greninja took care of it just fine

Before this I can just watch munching orange play pokemon. In my house there's rule that say if I want to buy something that has nothing to do with school or learning I need to save up money and buy it myself. Soo that is the thing that I did I save up my school money every day I eat less and buy Nintendo lite and pokemon violet myself.
At first I'm satisfied with violet but when I know what people think about violet paradox I start to get this headache everyday and I don't understand why i get headache over this small thing.
And honestly I don't want my first experience to get ruin in my days before I play pokemon I can just hear youtubers sharing story about their first pokemon adventure and I want too feel the same too.
I'm afraid that if I continue to get this headache i cannot enjoy the dlc that's just got announced and future Pokémon game that I will play and even worst I will start to hate pokemon and the most important I don't want to hate miraidon
