"freely explorable" was all I needed to hear. Awesome. Maybe The Pitt can get that too some day.

If I remember right for Metal Gear Solid 4 Kojima genuinely did ask Sony if they could make it so we could smell through the controller. I don't quite know how he imagined this was achievable cuz let us be fair Kojima is kinda a madman.. But there is precedent, I suppose.

Atlantic City getting an open exploration mode is exciting for possible future expeditions too. I'm still holding on to the hope that we'll get to see Naval Station Norfolk sometime.
Looking forward to it, we really do need expansions that is places you can actually go to- that adds more much needed story content to 76
The Expeditions and Daily Ops Idea was nice and all, but we need more story content pretty badly.. I know it would take more time to do-
Perhaps the second part of Atlantic city will have some story quests to do? i really would enjoy that!
Ok this looks really good so far. I'm not really into the gameplay style of expeditions, but to have expedition missions and free roam and standalone quests...i was against more expeditions before, now I'm totally for more. New locations, returning locations, lots of potential. Ronto 👀

Look at the blue devil...now look at the overgrown and Jersey devil...if the models are just reskinned ghouls and deathclaws I'm pretty sure there going to just use the same animation or probably slightly tweak the animation just so it feels different even though it's hardly original.

Been playing since release and I'm so excited! It looks great! I really wish you all would expand on the responders. Or at least keep them as a presence in each new areas going forward. I love the idea of selfless heroes across the wasteland.
The important thing to know about cobbler is it only gives you 5% xp boost while relish gives 10%.
Do they stack Or don't?
@@BR-dj1bo no, I wish they did. You can increase their effect with herbivore, strange in numbers card, and life love 3 mag. My relish does 33% I think.
@@RikiBdon't forget leader bobblehead and alternatively for carnivores you can do scorchbeast brain, canned meat stew, Tasty Squirrel Stew, and it will stack
Oh the meat ones stack? I havent tried carnivore in a couple years.
Lead monetization designer AKA person in charge of making the game as unfun as possible so people pay to skip and making sure all good looking items comes from the atom shop rather than being earned through game play.
Why not make it also a buildable area for apartment like camps where players can own their own apparent like the home plate in fallout 4.
They need to add it as a unique shelter like a portal door or teleporter from the aliens that lets you travel to notable locations for shelters

Here's hoping everything is just fun to play. I don't mind repeatable stuff, so long as it's enjoyable.

Someone mentioned having a home here and I agree completely it would be great if we had an apartment or some home, excited though for all of this
Some players like me are curious if we could have the left-hand shoot are guns as a toggle option for us left-handed players. Because there has to be some left handed people because of the lore implications because we see people use their left hands and game so as players one to have our left hands accessible for shooting.
Excited for the AC release and this video eased some of my worries as I’m not a huge expeditions fan. Hopefully it doesn’t have large maze like areas where I spend a ton of time lost.
This gives me serious New Vegas vibes with the casino and the groups all 'working together' to keep the city going all we need is a billionaire on life support to complete the holy trinity
Please add more achievements and challenges to go for we need more replay ability but mainly achievements I bought fallout 1st and it will stop when I 100% all achievements please please more fun and challenging achievements.
So will The Pitt and Atlantic city get a map or just a gray out Fallout 76 map like right now

Every lobby i join i never see anyone start up a expedition team or anyone ever do expeditions anymore, that died right away, is this going to a Appalachia sized map or is it going to be a expedition sized map like the pit?
Wait...3? THREE new expeditions? Woah. Even if 2 are terrible that sill leaves 1 worth doing and doubles our current options. It's really nice to hear they're looking at what people like/dislike about expeditions to make the content feel more appealing. I look forward to see what direction the new expeditions go in.
I'm really excited for this upcoming update I hope it's really fun
FO76 is surprisingly addictive and I don't take part in any online events, pretty much a single player game for me. And this is what many people want too: make an offline mode for the game. Ok, a login requirement would be fine, but let's keep the whole game running on a single PC, without the worry about ping, etc. I'm on a slow LTE network and sometimes my ping goes to hell and it's funny how an enemy dies after a few second delay, but it becomes annoying after a while. Yes, I know this is not a single player game but... it very well could be!
I hope its a bit different from the pit. The pit was cool but i was expecting a lil bit more from it i guess.
Not gonna lie, I think everyone was, which is good to see that they’ve expanded upon the Expeditions by making Atlantic City explorable.

Imagine publicly showing a Lead Monetization Designer in a dev stream, they are slapping their golden phalluses on players faces and they like it, more proof they aren't developing anything for the sake of a good game, only towards the sole objective of bringing profit and exploiting the blind fanbase

Fix pls the game for INTEL Arc vga s. Ive got 4750g proc / 32gb ram / arc a 770 16gb and my fps drops from 75 to 30-40 randomly

It would be nice if you guys would go back later and add an explorable with missions area to the pit as well. And hopefully this will be the new normal going forward with us getting a new explorable outside the Appalachians area with expeditions connected to it. Almost like a yearly theme, aka the elder scrolls online pattern
Maybe we should get one that takes us actually underground in the Appalachians to a moleminer city. We could even see a giant non -enemy version of the Titan.
Growing up in NJ, and not far from AC, I'm really excited about this. Although i believe they're describing AC as it cureently is. The place is a crime ridden hellhole outside of the boardwalk. Im excited about the jersey devil, but wish it's appearance aligned more with it's mythical appearance. The accents they use are not at all typical of southern NJ. A bit stereotypical, but we can let that slide. Everyone thinks we talk like that anyway. We dont. At all. Lastly, while AC doesn't have any military significance, maybe 40 mins away, the nations first national defence airport is still operational. But now it's mainly retrofitting chinook helicopters with the newest tech. So a good chance it's not a target on the global radar. Hopefully i can explore the westernmost area of the pines where i grew up. Can't wait to see how they did the good ole dirty jersey.
Depending on the length and depth of the story content, this next update sounds promising. Hope this is a sign that Bethesda is going back to producing some actual story DLC content on a more regular basis. It's the only reason why I'll keep playing.

It certainly sounds like what we've all been wanting.
I think this is a step in the right direction, having played ESO for several years, zones are the basis of a good MMO, even if its a lite version. I would love to see some kind of Endevours system similar to ESO as its a good incentive to explore the game's locations than visiting them once and forgetting them.
While this is all great moves forward to make Expeditions more of a whole experience with the open world map, is there any potential of rolling those updated things into The Pitt as well?
So you guys didn't learn anything from the pitt? no one wants to do these daily/weekly things we want actual new areas. the game is dead people only get on now to do scoreboard stuff I know this is a separate team but fuck man maybe just focus on something else

Can we just be thankful they still develop content for this game after such a rocky launch? They didn’t abandon it like rockstar did with RDO, and they didn’t pull an activision by bundling something more favorable, knowing it would be bad. They thought it was going to be good, it was an expensive game to make, and they’ve fixed a majority of the bugs. It’s basically free content, unlike ESO. I haven’t paid for a single piece of content, and I have access to it all aside from private servers.

I’m a salty man after The Pitt… free roam is what any Fallout expansion should be from its inception so I’m glad to hear Atlantic City will eventually get that
The factions this time around seem infinitely better than the Fanatics and Union 42 from the Pitt.
Cant wait to see this. Hopefully in the future we can return to the Mojave and see the NCR and Legion again, as well as New Vegas in its infancy
Way too far in the future to witness any of that. 76 is 2106, New Vegas is 2281. No Ed Sallow; No Legion, probably no House or Strip as we know them as he emerged & United the Five-Families in 2274.
Sorry to break it to you but, if you want to explore New Vegas you’ll heave to do it in New Vegas. If you’re on console, get a little gaming Laptop you can use for work/study & modded F:NV.
@@hamishblair7504 we could still go back and see the West Coast before the events of Fallout 1 and 2. Yeah the NCR won't be there, Khan's or any of it for that matter. But there could be groups that came before that we could get the chance to explore. One of them being BOS

I want to know how feasible is it to implement a vaulting and sliding mechanic? I love fallout, but these things make the gameplay feel so clunky.. it’s changes it from an RPG to an MMORPG experience.
