    I hate when rich youtubers ask other rich youtubers the stupid question about 'does money buy hippieness'. It doesn't guarantee it, but when you don't have to worry about buying food, car repairs, medical bills etc.....when you can live within your means and that means your needs are cared for, people will be happy.
    That is harder and harder to do these days. If my businesses grossed over $6,000,000 a year, I guarantee I'd be happier than I am now.
    just a stupid question.

    • @InvestmentJoyClips
      @InvestmentJoyClips Місяць тому

      Would you be happier bringing in $6m a year and putting $0 in your pocket? What if it was a down year and out of that $6m/yr you had to take $100k from savings to keep the guys working and the companies afloat? It's a MUCH larger question than a 3 minute segment.

    • @1QKGLH
      @1QKGLH Місяць тому

      @@InvestmentJoyClips I see your point. But none of the people I've ever heard ask that question go into that detail. It's usually answered with something along the lines of "no. more money equals more worries".
      I also think that when people hear that question they are thinking money in their pocket, naturally, not money floating around in the ether.
      I enjoy your videos. They inspire me to see if I can get out of the rat race and make my own way. Something I wish I'd have done 30 years ago.

Both of them I picked up free . People ran them down , happy to offer load them . They even gave me vendor finance and rent free for 3 months . You need to really drive around do your research.

If a person comes from being evicted, family issues/illnesses, etc., to running multiple businesses and grossing $6M/year anyone can do the same. Determination. What is the needed. Long term business venture. Trustworthy partners. Finance. Level Headed. High ROI.

    I have to say after watching the laundry mat ones, I no longer would want to run a laundry mat lol . Too much up front money like buying all the appliances and then roughing in all the plumbing it’s a nightmare cost unless you buy one that’s failing and revive it that’s a play for sure but finding that deal is slim and thin. I’ve heard laundry mat business is one of the most successful ones so I’m sure you can be a moron and make it work but has to be good location and in my opinion from what I’ve learned it has to be one that’s failing and you buy it out. The one guy said 250k - 400k just to convert a building for laundry . And when I saw the service room it made me puke. I think the best one is storage lockers that are self serve so you need minimal to no staff, and have it where it runs on solar panels . And only allow people in and out during day light hours . I think that’s the best business model but even then you have to buy or lease the land and should be decent location very close to a town or city , and then you’re building the units but at least you don’t need any services like electrical or plumbing or gas . Just solar panels and a box . I’ll get there that’s my dream

      I don't care where the laundromat is it will be successful if I own it. I don't buy laundromats, as I find that opportunity and take it. You have to know how to go about it. I own 10 laundromats and only built 2 from scratch. It's creativity in knowing how to work the system and you won't need much upfront cost.

      @InvestmentJoy his parents for sure paintball at 16 back then was really expensive. And parents bought enough gear the started reselling it on ebay 😂You never hear them say I got an inheritance when ganpa passed.. or I had a trust fund.. people always leave that out...example we never had money growing up ... mom spent thousands on paint ball 😂😂😂

    • @InvestmentJoy

      @@JacobsNews They bought my brother and I Brass Eagle Talons in '98 when they first got exposed to the market - $30ish if memory serves me right. After that point it was all Ben & Me.
      When I say reselling equipment - We started off taking consignment off friends and selling it on ebay for them since no one knew how to do that at the time. After a while we figured out how to buy wholesale equipment from NPS from the money we had made off the consignment equipment.
      As I said in the video, our parents didn't have any money to sponsor us playing paintball, so we had to figure out how to do it ourselves. I could break it down in even more detail, but what's the point? You already discounted my story.
