Outstanding video. You're so thorough and you don't speed everything up ... much appreciated. I know I'm a year late but your blue with white combo is a perfect look.
Someone said you can use an automobile freeze plug instated of the block off plug , makes sense to me instead of spending $40.00 for the plug ..Great video
10:05. What’s stopping you from just grinding off the gear at the end of the shaft and putting the pump back in? Let’s say you live in a country where you can’t get hold of a black off? Thanks for all the help with your video!
Great video!! We have the twin for that bike. Just rebuilt top end and the piston, cylinder, and head have so much build up on them from running so rich. I'm really considering deleting the oil injector also. I think it would give it so much more power and run cleaner by doing that
Did you eventually replace the oil injection throttle cable and that little splitter box? If so, where did you find a replacement to only operate the throttle?
@@mr_merispug3402 no I kept the stock jet. If you want to lean out the engine just put an aftermarket air filter and that should help out a bit. I still have the bike and because of Covid I haven’t been able to get any parts I want to continue making more vids. I will tho for sure in the future.

Never heard of that. But if it works give it a try. Thanks for the feedback.

I believe you can remove the gear and I am sure it would do the same thing. Just have to plug all the connections then
Thank you, this video helped. What is the best way to restore the plastic?
Glad it was helpful for you! I wet sanded it. Then a polish. But wet sanding helped quite a bit for my tank.

Ya I found it certainly ran good
Please let me know if you think an oil block for PW50 will work? Looks the same and there’s no PW80s available
What will be the oil mix ratio after I do this.
40-1 worked well for me.
Can you upload a PDF version of your pw50 service manual ?? 🙏🙏

Removed the oil injection cable out of the stock little box. Kept the stock box
@@bigair0176 nice video btw. And thanks.
Do u need to block it off ?can you jus leave the cable unhooked?
You could just unhook it but make sure you mix your gas if you do. Cheers
Great vids! How did you make out with your new exhaust and air filter setup? My son is also looking to upgrade both.
Never ever saw the exhaust show up. Covid really hurt their production. But I did do the pw50 and it was awesome! I have vids on it on the channel
what ratio did you run for the mix in the gas tank after removing oil injection? Or what is recommended to run?
I ran 40:1.
@@bigair0176 thanks man, did you also have to lean the main jet?

@@bigair0176 okay I will keep that in mind, appreciate it!
Could you send me link for one of these please 😊
They are on eBay. Just type in oil block off pw80 and it will pop up. I may also have a link in the description.
What year is this bike, I have the same one. I believe it’s a 1998
1995
Did you have to change the jets in your carburetor after?
I did not change them no. Cheers
Great video thanks😅
Appreciate you checking it out. Cheers!
Nice work, great video.
Glad it was helpful for ya cheers!
Can you send me a link. Cant find them?
I bought it off eBay. Just type in pw80 oil injector block off and it should come up
nice tutorial!
Thx man! Cheers
If you do t want to spend any
Money just take the oil injector gear off.
You most certainly could do that.
@@bigair0176 it’s just the way I did it and saved me $30
@@dillonmonsen6338 all good dude. Totally would work that way.
Thank you!!!
