I dont know if you've done this but under the engine where the exhaust connects there is a restriction ring. If you take that ring off the thing is so much better.
What aftermarket pipe does it have and how much was it? The stock one has a muffler built in on top of the little silence/spark arrester. It super restrictive and quiet.
Bad bad advice in this video. The "air box mod"-taking the air pipes off of this machine will let water/dirt/debris off the front tire go right in the air cleaner box and directly on the air filter. Raising this bike will make the chain ride hard on the guide over the rear swingarm and it will eat it's way through the swingarm itself. An easy way to get more power out of it would be to remove the restrictor plate bolted to the head at the exhaust port and adjust the mixture and jetting on the carb
It looks like you did an oil pump delete. I just did that to my daughters 2000 pw80. I got an Amazon throttle cable to replace the two piece unit with the split for the oil pump cable. That cable is junk. What are you guys running for throttle after othe oil pump delete? I heard ttr 110 throttle might fit?
Hey I always have trouble with changing the front brake cable it always seems to short I have no adjuster on it cause I can’t get it to fit. Whenever you change it can you show how you do it so I can see if I’m missing something
yo i drilled out that whole on my pw80 but when i tried to move the shock to that whole the swing arm was hittin the boweom of the frame so how did u fix that?
My pw 80 has like no power anaymore and it’s always not running right I’ve cleaned the carb and messed around with it allot and it still just won’t get the power it uses to what do I do

Bro there so many more mods you can do to the pw 80 ,first put a kx 65 carb,you gotta customize it ,boyseen stage 2 reeds ,12 tooth sprocket,remove 4 of the 12 bearings in clutch,mill the head and it will really fly!!!!?
A keihen 28mm is WAAAAAY too big for this. I have a mikuni 28mm carb on my rm80 go-kart and it's perfect. You would need one hell of a fatty pipe to make that work well.
And you can put a ktm 85 exhaust once again with customizing it ,I did all these mods myself,I also put a wiseco piston,deleted the oil injector,it really rips
@@Hellenic_soul527 ,an xs ?,I don't think so , basically you can tell just by looking at it if another exhaust is gonna work by the shape and also the end where it connects to the head ,I'm not familiar with an xs

woah no way, the air box mod is understandable but u do realise this bike doesnt have a chain guide

My brother had the same problem, clean entire carb if not replace carb

Yes because it goes "into" the gas tank but its only on with 2 bolts and one rubber strao
