Great tutorial! I’m a beginner and just completed my second blanket using this border. I’m so pleased with the results. I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thank you!
Hi! I have a question about how it’s done - when you’re starting off the border in a different color, is there a way to kind of secure the new yarn to the project? It doesn’t look like anything in particular is done in this video so maybe just doing exactly what you did would suffice! Thank you :)
Thanks so much. I've always had trouble understanding how many stitches to use for the border. This was very helpful. Now I'll see how successful I mine will turn out.
It reminds me of the 1x1 rib in knitting. I love how detailed your instructions are so even the absolute beginners can do that stitch. This border is absolutely lovely. 💖
Lovely border. I’m working on a baby blanket right now and I think I’ll try this out and see how it goes with my pattern. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Very pretty border Sarah-Jayne! Very versatile as well, especially without having to worry about a specific stitch count! Always a plus! Thanks for sharing!🌸🌺
Hi Sarah Jane! I'm not sure why I thought this stitch would be difficult but wow it looks doable and the effect is stunning 😍 saving this to my favorites. Thank u so much for sharing!
I love the look of the border, i just don't particularly like the look of the corner holes it has in each row. Is there any way to avoid those being there?
Oh I love this border stitch! I am new to Crochet and all my learning has been done through watching your You Tube uploads. You do a fantastic job! (Thank you) I have just made 40 granny squares for a blanket, is it possible to stitch them all together with this border? as I love it so much! From Donna in New Zealand 🇳🇿😁
Not a silly question at all! 😊 You'd need to straighten off the edges first and I have a tutorial that shows how to do that here: ua-cam.com/video/RBa5WbPXPBk/v-deo.html

Not a silly question at all 😊 You can attach your yarn in exactly the same way as shown in the video, by inserting your hook and using it to pull through your yarn before chaining, ready to begin your stitches.
@@bellacococrochet Awesome, thank you!! I used your videos to learn how to crochet and just finished my first blanket :) working on the border now!! Thanks again for everything

Just added this border to my knitted squares blanket with a multi coloured wool. It's brilliant, bright and chunky.
Thanks so much. I've always had trouble understanding how many stitches to use for the border. This was very helpful. Now I'll see how successful I mine will turn out.

Good job 👍
Thank you :)
I love the look of the border, i just don't particularly like the look of the corner holes it has in each row. Is there any way to avoid those being there?
If you don't want the holes you can try skipping the chain stitches in the corners and work an extra stitch instead 😊

From Donna in New Zealand 🇳🇿😁
You are very welcome, you would have to crochet all your squares together first then you could do this border around the blanket to finish it off :)
Love this idea or a border. I have a silly question, how would I do this on a ripple afghan? Please help
Not a silly question at all! 😊 You'd need to straighten off the edges first and I have a tutorial that shows how to do that here: ua-cam.com/video/RBa5WbPXPBk/v-deo.html
Looks great....I am always looking for clean, modern borders.
Thank you :)
Can you make a tutorial on this but on only one side? ♥️♥️
Wonderful, thank you!
You are very welcome :)

Bella Coco, loved this border tutorial , you did a great job. Could we also use this border for the Circle of hope.?
Yes of course if you wanted to switch out the border x
I find this completely confusing using different rows of stitches.
