Good to see it back up and running
Esp since my Audi’s brake lines ruptured today
😩
the ticking are probably the hydraulic lifters. no big deal if the ticking is gone at higher revs
Yes, you are correct the lifters were a little noisy from sitting and they did clear up after a bit of normal activity
Loveing this !
I’m excited to have this back on the road and better than ever
Thank you for the detailed video on the rebuild 🙏
@elliskim5418 happy to do this for the community
@@AutoAfflicted going to replace my cam shaft on my 300e and this will definitely help out
he's baack!!
Yes! Final adjustments on the KJet fueling Tomorrow and then we’re back on the streets !
How much boost are you putting out now? I followed your kit idea and am running 1 bar now with the help of the additional injector. Thanks again.
That’s solid! I haven’t turned up my boost yet, still at 9psi
Woohoo!!! Im excited!
Also discovered my throttle cable wasn’t fully tight, might not have had full throttle this whole time
@@AutoAfflicted nice. Does that mean i can assume it will be a little bit more powerful?
@TheCluelessEnthusiast well, turns out the throttle is supposed to be loose like is was … but I do believe this new engine configuration will take a little more boost and maybe we’ll see over 300whp on the dyno
@@AutoAfflicted with 300whp that will be a super fun car.
@TheCluelessEnthusiast agreed, this car doesn’t really need too much horsepower. People are always chasing huge power, but there’s definitely such thing as balance.
YEEEA Buddy!
So good to back behind the wheel of Bruno Saccoupe ! Haven’t hit full boost yet, just soaking up the vibes
I’m running with the 3mm mls gasket’ I’ve blocked off the ezl vacuum advance & set ezl trim too n for low fuel quality runs better low down power much better’ I’ve noticed your pistons are chambered mine aren’t must be higher compression
I don’t have ezl adjustment, 9.2:1 is my compression
@@AutoAfflicted mine must be euro spect high compression’ just disconnect the vac advanced & hope for the best lol turn that eha up all the way it will go
I’m not planing much more than 7 or 9 psi max due the to the higher compression she pulls very hard will spin heavy 17 inch alloys
@raymyers4539 I did 1/4 turn on eha for my initial tune at 7-9 psi and got 270whp on the Dyno @7psi- that was before this whole rebuild
@raymyers4539 yes , I was getting 9psi on the street and spinning tires a little from 2nd to third even
eewwwwww single cam 😂😂
Yes, gross amounts of fun
