      Dude, this is huge, thanks for doing these reviews and giving the updates. Do they know you are a reviewer? I'm surprised they are not bending over backwards to resolve your issue. Maybe its better you operate covert....so your viewers have an idea of what they could expect from customer service.

    The part i like about these electric boards is even when the battery dies you can still manually keep skating.. i might consider getting a mini electric board. Thanks for sharing this video content

    I bought the same board. First ride was great but low range on battery. After my second ride the board started having significant issues. On the 3rd ride the remote disconnected from the board and propelled me through a active traffic light at full acceleration. I tried 1 last ride and hit a bump causing the whole thing to stop. I checked inside and the battery (which just lays there unsecured) broke the circuit board. I waited 4 months to get this board and then it took another month for them to give me a response to my many emails. The response was "we don't do returns on products which have been ridden". They did offer a 'possible' exchange but I do not feel even slightly safe with it anymore (and don't like being shot into active traffic intersection). This was one of my worst costumer-service experiences ever and now the board doesn't turn on (only being used 4 times totalling 2 hours and about 20 miles). I do not recommend this board, though I've heard some good experiences but also some much worse. It's a great concept but also a coin-toss of success (and if it's not the face you call in the toss then at best case is you wasted your $990. But at worst, who wants to survive their 20's anyways)

      the tech isnt that expensive, if you're a bit tech savy you can make your own for under 200$ (excluding the longboards parts) which would preform similar to the ones on the market right now. these electric boards are a novelty item right now so they ask novelty prices a.k.a. overpriced.

  • @bmwolfe2786
    @bmwolfe2786 6 років тому

    besides the price point, I don't see how any of these things can compete with Boosted and the M1. The boosted board v2 is just ... well amazing. acceleration, style, board flex, and the controller is a thing of beauty. It feels good in your hand and works very well, never breaks connection. My brother owns the M1, its also great, the only downside is the hub motor.. more element safe.. but wayyyy slower acceleration. I suppose these things are a bit smaller so that's nice. But, guys if you have the money, and you want an e board... get a boosted board. they are incredible. Still waiting for my damn extended range battery .. so there's that lol. anyway good video thanks for the info.

    • @TalonSei
      @TalonSei  6 років тому

      Skip the boosted v2 extended and go with an evolve bamboo GTX 👍🏻

    • @bmwolfe2786
      @bmwolfe2786 6 років тому

      they are fast, but i don't like their controller as much. I do like how their motors are higher up though, More ground clearance. I'm in love with the boosted v2. Just wish they had as much range as the gtx. could have easily built that battery bigger instead of looking cool. Gtx gets like 22 or something which is even double the extended on the v2 right ?

    • @TalonSei
      @TalonSei  6 років тому +1

      Advertised range is 31miles however after my test I found that it can easily do 20 if I would have kept going probably 25+ they also updated their remote controller and it is much better than the original generation.

    Hey Talon. First let me say I'm in no way trying to gas you up or scream "I'm your #1 fan!" But I gotta say man you have the best youtube channel period. I'm a combat veteran that has always carried when I got out in 2012. 6 years later I feel like I've finally found a no B.S. channel. straight to the point. non flashy but funny and extremely informative that I now look forward to every video and I only started watching your material about 3 months ago. since then I've bought a better carry weapon, carry it in the right spot, with a well made kydex holster and night sights. it's been one of the best feelings ever to finally get it right and I owe a huge thanks to you for letting me know what's what. thought I'd comment on this video so you might see it before it gets lost in the sauce. but once again just wanted to thank you. I was already a pretty hard target to start with. Now with your advice and knowledge I'd say I'd be pretty freakin hard to kill. Anyway man keep doin you, cuz ur Killin it in my opinion. every video is mad entertaining, informitive and fun to watch. Also whats the best way to help support your channel/cause? cuz I'd love to help a real dude out. thanks for all the content man much appreciated!

    Welcome to the LouBoard family, I have one of the kickstarter boards and it looks like yours has different wiring and the full tape for the deck plate (the originals only had a few strips). On your board is the battery also fixed with a single large piece of tape? on the earlier boards they only had two strips which means that after riding for awhile my battery comes loose and I lose all power (and the brakes)

      Wheels are way softer now. I’ve gotten small wheels with a smoother ride than a long board. Look up shark wheels lol

    Very good review.
    Too expensive, lost my trust in SoFlow after allgoing on and FabTrav too excited "review"..., that beeping sound when off battery, very very annoying, wish it had an on/off switch.
    Please, wear a helmet, safety first ;)

    It would be cool if it charged as you push along, break or go down hill.
