In bustling streets, where dreams collide,
Global Youth Day, our hearts confide.
Show up in the cities, voices rise,
Underneath urban skies, hope flies.
From towering buildings to alleys deep,
In every corner, promises to keep.
Show up in the cities, take a stand,
Together, we'll craft a better land.
Amidst the chaos, we find our voice,
In unity, we make our choice.
Show up in the cities, let's ignite,
The flames of change, burning bright.
In the rush of life, amidst the crowd,
We raise our banners, proud and loud.
Show up in the cities, hearts ablaze,
For a world where love and justice raise.
From concrete jungles to streets of gold,
Our actions speak, our stories told.
Show up in the cities, let's proclaim,
That together, we'll rewrite the game.
So let us march, let us strive,
In Global Youth Day, we come alive.
Show up in the cities, make it clear,
Our generation's message, sincere.
“Show Up in the Cities” is more than just a logo for Adventist Youth Ministry. It’s our response to our God’s Great Commission which says, He is “…not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9).
“I Will Go” then is our commitment as Joshua-like leaders to lead and send us youth into the enemy’s frontlines.
