Good vid. Have the 25. Here I have to use a stainless prop. I fish a fairly shallow salt marsh with lots of oyster reefs and mud banks. Aluminum doesn’t hold up very well. After 17 years even the stainless is looking bad. Watched the vid to remember how to do it! Thanks.
Appreciate it! You really can’t beat these motors. I’ve just been using cheap aluminum props off Amazon to protect the lower unit and it doesn’t matter if I tear through a few of them. Where do you fish out of?
Sorry to be a tease, but I'm not from there! Bought the boat in Mandeville though and my state (TN) doesn't require you to register boat trailers so I've just let the old plate ride.
That would work and if you’re in a pinch out on the water and don’t have a block of wood sometimes you gotta do it. I’d say that blocking the prop is a best practice though to avoid any unnecessary strain on the prop shaft and gears in the lower unit.
Nice job. You got right down to business, not a lot of useless talking like many videos.
I appreciate that! I too can’t stand when people do that so I try to be the change lol

Hell yeah Louisiana where you from?

If you put it in gear the prop wouldn’t spin
