I don’t suppose you have any tips specifically about preventing and reversing nails gradually separating from the nail bed? I really try not to use my nails as tools, occasionally they get stuck on something and then get pulled on which obviously I try to avoid. But besides that I don’t have much choice but to use my hands a lot, especially washing them and sanitizing them for my job. I think this is causing some problems for my nail beds. Any advice???

I try to write them down so that I can use what is tried and true. Love love love this videa!
teresecozad7891, You pause the video and screenshot the bottle/s, and when you go to your local nail supplier or look them up, you can also refer to them by viewing them from your photo album on your phone
Your nails are looking amazing! I am so happy that you are looking after them and not cutting them off every time you get a new set. Your nails are beautiful! Take care, 😊
My nails naturally grow fast, too fast for my liking. If I could gift you my nail growth I would. I don’t wear nail polish often. I do everything wrong too and they keep growing and they are STRONG. I hope for anyone who wants to grow them good luck
I can grow out my nails but they've been pretty flimsy my whole life. I figured gel or full cover tips glued on would help but I'm so impatient with the removal process and its caused my nails to be worse than they were. I'm trying to start back on a journey with growing out my natural nails in a healthy way. I'm interested in your opinion on using hard gel/builder gel to help grow out nails. Either way, hoping to implement these tips in my nail routine!!!
Amazing. Could you possibly start experimenting with silk wraps and make a video? I heard those also really help to grow out natural nails and protect against breakage in a proactive way
This is so exciting! As a girl who has always wanted to learn how to take care of her natural nails and also do at-home DIY nail art and manicures, this gives me hope! I started taking DIY home manicures more seriously these past couple of years. It's so much fun!!! I feel pampered when I do it and I feel more encouraged that I, myself can get the tools that I need (LED lamp, e-file) and learn how to work with them myself. I daydream about possibly taking classes, but... I would just end up using it on myself because I love taking care of my hands and nails so much!!! I'm lucky my nails do grow out well, but I want to try and get them as long as yours one day, so I have to keep up with moisturizing my nails! I do have a question though, you moisturize your nails in the video, but then you dry out the entire nail before you put the polish on. I've heard that it helps your manicure/the color/polish last longer, but I also worry about over-drying my nails. How does that work? I feel like it's almost taking a step backward. But this is such an awesome video, and like... I want all the tools now to help perfect my nails!!!! 😊😊😊😊
That and it's like, every time I go to a nail salon... My gel polish always peels, (and sometimes burns my nail under the lamp) and it's because they layer it on too thick, so I had lost all hope of getting my nails done at a salon other than regular nail polish. 😭 (Also creates a nasty habit of me just peeling my nail color off) And part of me wants to experiment using gel polish (real gel polish) at home so that I can be in control and learn how to apply the polish correctly. And I like your method of prepping your natural nails clear with the base products first before applying the color.
You wont over dry your nails, it only dehydrates the surface :) if you want more technical and science based information i recommend “The Nail Hub”, “chemist corner with Jim mcconnel” or “face to face with doug schoon” here on youtube
That’s cool I don’t wanna grow my nails but I’m still watching this, it’s cause I’m just bored but that’s a nice story! Hope for the best for you! a good luck with those long nails!
Hi, I’m starting to do my natural nails at home and love your videos. I’m still very confused about rubber base and rubber top coats. Don’t understand the difference between them and just using regular gel base, peel off, etc? And can you apply both or is that just over kill?
I was doing diy gel x dupe nails & got so good! I really enjoyed doing them, they made me feel confident especially since I was nail biter. When i had them on, my cuticles looked healthy, but unfortunately i ended up givingmyself a gel allergy / contact dermatitis so this video came at the perfect time :)
@@Anitamustdie i had that issue from not curing my layers properly. since i started making thinner layers and curing it VERY well along with a very good base, i can keep them on without allergies.
@@Anitamustdie If the gel touches your skin and you leave it on too long, you will eventually gain the allergy. I also have it after messing around with gel when I was 18 Edit: I didn’t specify, but if the liquid gel touches your skin is what I meant. Before it is cured. It can also happen if you don’t fully cure your nails
Thank you for speaking about safety when talking about nail filing and also about protecting your lungs. I get freaked out when i see people breathing in that stuff with no ventilation or mask.
This video was so educational and helpful. I feel like everyone who wants to do nails at home should be required to watch this!! I would’ve saved my poor nails a lot of heartache ❤️ Thank you!
I think the rough removal processes is 100% why my nails are so bad, im so impatient that i just file everything to my nail rather than soaking off…im my own worst enemy 😭 however tho i’ve gotten better and want to add, that i love to add coconut oil or or aloe oil with my bowl of acetone when im soaking them that way instead of wrapping (even tho wrapping is a million times faster lol)
Thank you for this, I am definitely getting a gel kit, I have lovely long nails but there is always 1 or 2 broken at any time and I have one nail with damaged matrix that comes in ready to split right up the center as soon as it becomes free edge, aggravating and resin and fiber glass or silk wraps are not fun to work with.
i mean im a guy but.. my nails grow so fast i cut them last monday 9/1/2023 and now its 14/1/2023 and they`re as long as her nails.. TvT this happens since i was a kid now im 17 :)
This video has helped me so much! Started my nail journey with this video a month ago, and all my nails are passed my finger length already! Majority of my nails had broken off before I started my nail journey from being snagged on stuff, and peeling which makes them even thinner. My nails are basically paper thin, and after a certain length they just break or peel off since they had zero protection before and I never used cuticle oil. This video has helped me build some good habits, like using cuticle oil and wearing gloves when doing dishes. The best thing for my nails was using gel nail polish to keep them strong and reinforced to prevent them from breaking. I still wear regular nail polish on top of my gel nail polish, since I love the regular nail polish that I already have. The regular nail polish doesn't last more than a few days to a week before it comes off my nail in one sheet, but it's fine since it gives me an excuse to paint my nails again with a new style, but the gel nail polish stays on strong as long as I don't use the peely gel base. I'm so glad I found this video, it's been a game changer for me, and I can't wait to have really long natural nails for once. 😊
Subscribing and saving this video! So helpful. I do try to keep my nails hydrated using cuticle oil but I’ve recently started using Vaseline petroleum jelly because they are SO dry! I work with money so I’m constantly using hand sanitizer and washing my hands and my nails are always splitting and breaking. I bought a UV light and gel polish during covid but I have the horrid habit of picking the gel off when I’m sitting watching tv or when I have nothing to do. 😬. But I’ve been doing better. Thanks for the video!
I love what you’ve done - no thick chunky apex is so much better - so much more natural- a mend of the one you broke would be good - and more looks with natural nails!! Can’t get bored of watching you work!!
I have been doing Gel nails for years now, and I've gotten better with practice of course, but still every time I do my nails after one week there is lifting on the sides of my nail bed. I use the Gellish nail dehydrator, Gelish base coat, the strengthener in Cover pink, whatever nail polish, and the gellish top coat. I always file over my nails to rough them up and paint carefully as not to get any on my skin but I always experience lifting after one week, and Id rather my manicures last for three or longer. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Ty for these amazing tips❤
I’ve started doing gel manicures the way you do in this video and I LOVE the way they look! I’m having a lot of trouble with the removal process, though. The gelish products used in this video say they can be soaked off, but I can’t seem to get them off. I file off the color, then put the acetone soaked nail wraps on my nails for 10, then 20 mins and they won’t budge :( even after continually soaking them, only a minimal amount comes up enough for me to scrape away. I’ve usually just ended up getting all the gel off by hand filing all of it off myself. I’m brand new to doing my own nails so I have nooo clue what I may be doing wrong, and can’t find anyone online who has the same issues. Any advice anyone might have would be super helpful!!
I’ve been obsessed with your videos! I love how well you explain each step and that you link absolutely everything used (I’ve made quite a dent on my credit card bc of you lol). In addition to that but definitely not less important; your sense of humor kills me! 🤣
Would this apply (ie., the growth with your care tips) if one is going to use poly gel? I stopped getting acrylics about 3 mo ago & have been applying a nail strengthener & cuticle oil 2X/wk. 3 of my nails are very short & I hate how my hands look so I have to do something to make them look better, thus my decision for DIY poly gel as I've never had success doing tips when a nail breaks. Probably doing something wrong as they tend to pop off in a few days. Going to do my 1st poly gel application in a couple days so hoping for better results. But would like to know if u think I could have long natural nails to look forward to using poly gel instead of just gel polish.

The communicative, technical nature of this video is so refreshing. Clear as a bell. Thank youuuuuu❤️❤️❤️❤️
Omg you’re so good!! Can you please make a beginners essential must have kit for manicure & also for doing Gel nails at home
Best video for a new gel user! I love how you show each step and explain how each product works. I am trying for the first time in my 60 year old life to grow my natural nails and I'm taking your tips and tricks. Only suggestion I have is to slow down a bit when you are showing the bottles of something so that we can get a better look at the bottle, the name and what the product is called. I try to write them down so that I can use what is tried and true. Love love love this videa!
If you go into the description box it's all listed in order
this comment is adorable, she actually lists all the products in the description box under the video.
teresecozad7891, You pause the video and screenshot the bottle/s, and when you go to your local nail supplier or look them up, you can also refer to them by viewing them from your photo album on your phone
hello?!
hello!? 👀

File AFTER base/structure products?? Girl... *clicks subscribe*
Please do a swatch video on all of your gel polishes or some of your favourites. Maybe a colour series? Like all of your sheers/milky pinks.
really wanna do this! 😍
Amazing. Could you possibly start experimenting with silk wraps and make a video? I heard those also really help to grow out natural nails and protect against breakage in a proactive way
Honestly I don’t do none of these either it’s genes or patience in me.
How did u give yourself a gel allergy bc I’m scared that I will give myself one
@@Anitamustdie i had that issue from not curing my layers properly.
since i started making thinner layers and curing it VERY well along with a very good base, i can keep them on without allergies.
@@Anitamustdie If the gel touches your skin and you leave it on too long, you will eventually gain the allergy. I also have it after messing around with gel when I was 18
Edit: I didn’t specify, but if the liquid gel touches your skin is what I meant.
Will this work for me because I play basketball
I think the rough removal processes is 100% why my nails are so bad, im so impatient that i just file everything to my nail rather than soaking off…im my own worst enemy 😭 however tho i’ve gotten better and want to add, that i love to add coconut oil or or aloe oil with my bowl of acetone when im soaking them that way instead of wrapping (even tho wrapping is a million times faster lol)
Your nails look so healthy and beautiful 🤩
so any good nail drills that don't cost $350 dollars? because I am not paying for that😂
i actually have a few, see description box for "melodysusie scamander rechargeable nail drill"
It’s giving the the glazed donut nails and I’m loving it 😍 🍩 thanks for the great video as always !! 👏🏻
Thank you for this amazing tutorial!! Girl, my nails make the crypt keepers look nice 😂😂😂
I’m gonna give this a go!
😂💘
Thank you for this, I am definitely getting a gel kit, I have lovely long nails but there is always 1 or 2 broken at any time and I have one nail with damaged matrix that comes in ready to split right up the center as soon as it becomes free edge, aggravating and resin and fiber glass or silk wraps are not fun to work with.
i mean im a guy but..
my nails grow so fast i cut them last monday 9/1/2023
and now its 14/1/2023 and they`re as long as her nails.. TvT
this happens since i was a kid now im 17 :)
that is so awesome!! really happy to hear this video helped. 🥰
My nails grow out but they are really weak. So they literally tear off.
Wow ! These are really great tips for growing out healthy natural nails ! I just had to sub . Your nails look beautiful .
Blue Cross Cuticle remover is THE BEST! Also works amazing on rough heels.
oooh gotta try it on my heels, thanks for the tip! 💘
For the acetone, maybe try an amber dropper bottle. My grandmother sells essential oils and they keep them in amber bottles for this reason!
def gonna do this, i have some empty ones!
Love your tutorial. Great narrative. Straightforward! Thanks
thank you so much!! 💘
Idk how many time I’ve watched this video. I love it.
🥰🫶🏼
Idk why but whenever I try to grow my nails they outta nowhere get cracks from sides which is unrepairable
happened to me recently from doing water sports, i'll address it in a future video!
That blue cross remover is liquid gold. Also I always love your music choice for the 80s fever dream vibe
Wedding band? 👀
yes ma’am. 🥰
i think i don't only speak for myself - i really appreciate that you share your own experience and the results that have worked for you. so many "professional" nail channels and websites, and so many channels and websites that just copy and paste the information they find on the internet are so uninformed and harmful to those of us trying to learn. you're openness to share what you know is really helpful and i know it's something so small like nails, but not only is it a creative outlet for is that you're helping us maintain and keep healthy, but you're being such a wonderful example to the world that doing your own research and taking your time to experiment and make a few mistakes is how you find the best and most worthwhile results. thank you, i really appreciate your work and the time you put into offering your own unique wisdom for this world. more and more of you keep popping up and it's a beautiful thing to witness. all the best to you and your future💓
As a swimmer this video rlly helped as I have a compitition next week and my friends and I wanted to get are nails done (not acrylics getting the colored lol) so my nails are ussaly long but nowadays I'm in the water 24/7 we had a 2 week break in the meantime I have been doing this and I have long nails rn I painted them with my friends and now there so cute and nice.
Damn this is a lot of steps and work.
I've been taking biotin supplements aka New Nordic Hair Volume pills for 4 years! And My nails grow crazy healthy and long thanks to God.
Ty for it me have long nails
Here's a tip to grow your nails natural,(while taking of them as well,) take Prozac. Lol made my nails grow out fast. But weak. So I take care of them
I’ve been obsessed with your videos!
Hello 👋🏽 How’s it going
I really really love your page !
I’m keep long nails as well, it’s getting discomforting so I’d like to sell them
Is there anyone you might know?
They’re 3inches long
living vicariously through this video because i play guitar and this will never be me 😔
and i’m living vicariously through your guitar playing. 😍🥹
@@TheBeautyVault yaaas!! 💃🏽🎸
Nice nails! My nails are the same length as yours, but quite yellow from all the blue and green regular nailpolish I use. I really enjoyed your video, it's like ASMR to me to watch people doing their nails
I wish you'd share the supplements and diet that have worked for you please. Disable the comments if you still "don't want to open up that can of worms" 🤣. I would love it because I just don't know what works
A few of my nails grow slightly curved. 1 up and 1 down. How do I fix them?
Thank you, thank you so much for this video and for all your tips on how to help the nails grow stronger. I have the same problem that I’m always putting my hands in water and I do have rubber gloves next to my sink but I’m always doing the dishes without my gloves on.
I don't necessarily work for a living but I am a stay-at-home mom of a toddler, so I'd *like* to think I don't live a "soft" life😂I have long natural nails but *BOY* do they get put to the test; just cracked the hell out of one of them last week and have been doing my damndest to repair it enough for it to grow out enough for me to chop it because it cracked *into the nailbed* WELP😭 used to be an avid nail picker and I have very poor health as I have chronic stomach issues and have a very restrictive diet because of it (supplements, nail oil/shea butter and keeping them polished have been my best bet)
Alot of it is just plain genetics. I have really really strong nails that grow really fast. But my hair is weak and fine. 🤷♀️ Just like my mama.
Your nails are so beautiful ! Thank You for this video ❤️❤️❤️
How the heck did you glue it back together??
Also I’m new here but have watched every nail video you’ve made in just a couple of days. Your content has inspired me to start doing my own nails 😊🤍
welcome! 💘 also, i'll do a youtube short on my frankenail! 😂
@@TheBeautyVault Thank you! Looking forward to it :D
What do you suggest since we can't get the IN.HYPE Cold White gel polish???
Yay, I love this. I’ve gotten some great length on my natural nails, but I’m still going! Definitely going to use your tips.
I like long nails but I saw some others have really nice long nails but are YELLOWISH looks dirty to me tho
I have been trying to grow my nails and the process is really nice !
I am curious about something...How did you get your nails so long in the skin area of the finger and no nail sticking out past the tip of the nail? I have always had issues getting my nails to grow. My fingers also look like baby fingers and hands. I just would like my nails to be like yours before they grow out. Thanks Ms.Craner
I'm not even through the whole video yet and I gotta tell you Thank You So Much for the help!! My nails are in bad shape and this advice will help me so much💜
the very tip of my gel is always so stubborn and refuses to come off so I end up peeling it off with my cuticle pusher which is obviously not the ideal solution... please help!! do not want to damage my nails any more than they already are.
I just love your nails. Unfortunately for me it's impossible to have mine like yours due my job as a manufacturing technician
I guess I should start by making my nails stronger first before worrying about getting them to grow. My problem is they are always chipping on on the sides and very brittle. Going to start the nail soaks.
Hi I have been watching u for a while now and love your vids and u ofc and so happy for u hitting 50 k subs I am interested in bundle number 1 if I wIn well be so happy#entry
I am a nail bitter . And I recently got braces and I cant bit my nails which is Good, I want by the time I finish with my Braces I will have Long Nails ( my English Is bad)
Yeah I get it lol I always bite my nails or try to tear them off because they break so easy so I found that making them thicker or going to the salon to get a dip over them makes me not want to bite or tear or anything it's literally probably the only reason I have long nails right now lol but now maybe I won't have to spend so much money and could do this instead thank you
Oh wow thank you so much for this .... Will let you know my progress 🥰
I'm just here for the awesome background music vibe.
Me after I stop biting my nails 😂😂 it makes a huge difference and after a while you’ll see the difference and wanna stop biting them 😭
For how long did you bite your nails
When or if you've used hybrid gel would you typically soak each set off when you do a fill?
Haa guys….
Ok so in ma personal opinion just one thing I am doing is just don’t bite ur nail nd just clean it everyday that’s it .. this is how I am maintaining ma nail I don’t know wht about urs but just try this hack nd for sure the result will be great 😌
Thank you for another informative yet inspiring tutorial! 💕 I love all of them!
If you play piano do you think I can just try to use the base of my fingertips instead to make it easier to play, and grow my nails? Or do you think I should be fine for now while my nails are still short.
I want to know how to perfectly shape my nails like that😳(im dissatisfied my nails have flaws in shape in other finger)
Gel polish before filing, great tip
game changer!
I don’t have a problem to grew my nails, but I keep cutting them 😂 but the thing is, I love long nails
Can you do a video on the removal of the ASP peel off base and how to prolong the wear? Thank you!
