I definitely have the bad habit of doing my nails late at night, which makes them only last for a week and a half or two week, thanks for the video, as always well done and excellent quality ❤
Did my nails using this video as my guide and I can easily say my nails never looked better! I’ve been trying to do my own nails for a while and after applying every tip in this video, my nails look really professionally done. Thank you so much! Your guidance for amateur nail enthusiasts is the best!
This is a FANTASTIC tutorial! You absolutely nailed it with these tips and tricks! 💯 Thank you for being so thorough in your explanation of each step as well. 🌟Sooo very helpful! 🙌🏼
you are the first person I've seen mention that some buffers can actually make your natural nails too smooth and will lead to nails popping off. I learned this the hard way!
Same!!! I couldnt figure out why my gelx nails always popped off within a day or two.. I noticed how smooth they were one day and tried something different and it was amazing..
OMG! I’ve been doing nails for over 20 years now. Your tutorial is amazing. I love how you explain everything. Your voice is beautiful to listen to. Thank you so much.
I'm new to doing my own nails, could you do the short on how to move the gelx nail up & putting builder gel to fill in between the cuticle & gelx nail?
Thank you so much for this video! I would definitely love to see how you fill in the gap with builder gel when a gel tip is too small and we have to put it up higher on the nail bed.
I went through your videos when I was doing my KS nails a few days ago and this is exactly what I needed. I have to redo my right thumb nail today because it popped off already. Thank you!!!❤🔥
Awesome video, i appreciate how you explained how predesigned tips wont cure in this manor and best to use nail glue. You saved me some mistakes girl!!
One more comment, I love your content. I love your personality. I love your straightforward style. I love that you don’t have a fake phone voice on while filming. You’re authentic, I dig it. K love you, byyyyyyye 🖤
OMG I’ve been needing this video! I got the newest gel x kit but couldn’t make them last and I was getting so frustrated! After ordering the nail drill and following this video my nails are SOLID. I have no doubt they’ll last 3 weeks and if for some reason they don’t it’s because I’ve got a baby so they are very exposed to water, lotions, etc. But absolutely amazing video thank you so much!!
Thank you for this! I'm actually doing my nails today, so this was perfect. I use the tinted nails from Amazon. Definitely using your tips! Your nails are ALWAYS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love this video. Such great tips! I started doing my own nails at home.e a few years ago. I binge watched all your videos lol and just started. With out you videos I guarantee I would have been lost, and probably caused a lot of damage to my nails. Thank you so much for all your efforts that you put into every video. Your the best xoxo
Lit-rally the best how-to on Gel X I've seen. The lamp thing is so true and I hate mine sm because I have to basically contort my hand to fix it under there. Gooseneck here I come. Tysm.
literally tiktok has made my attention span so freaking short but i will ALWAYS listen to you the whole time 💛 also i love the youtube gang bc i am a fan of long videos 😍
Thank you for putting this out there. With all the videos I've watched, I thought I had the process down. That is, until, for the first time ever, my set popped off before I even got to paint them! It was right after I put them on. I scratched my head then POP! So I've been scouring trying to find the reason and you said it here...I buffed them way too smooth! I didnt even realize the effect that had until now. With that and so many other tidbits, I appreciate your very detailed explanations and steps. I learned new things here❤
Thanks for the flash curing lamp tip. I have one of the little ones but it is a giant inconvenience and awkward to move my hand while holding the nail in place
Thank you for explaining these things about the nail now. And to do to help the nail last longer. Thank you for your input. Wvery positive, I enjoy nail tutorials.💅🙏🏾💜💯
Personally for me, my nails stick up like a ski ramp, so i actually do better with less nail glue, without the little blob at all, so i can press the nail tip all the way flat. I just paint on a thin layer of the glue onto the nail tip and I'm good to go. I think you are putting on too much glue but it looks like your nails point downwards so it works out to make your nails more level. Also wanted to thank you for making these types of educational videos! I've been watching you for years and you've really upped my nail game 😊😊😊😊
I would def love to see a video where you put the nail a bit away from the cuticle area and then fill in with builder or poly gel. Please and thank you! (will check also if you already did it by now lol)
Now I just wanna put on some show and bring out my mani bag and do my nails all day long 😂 I need to do that anyway for my friend’s wedding anniversary and her hubby and mine b-day and I’m working on a gift so it’s merely a week left for me to do everything so I can go visit (and also before anyone decides to hire me or something as I sent in a CV for a job and it’s also same month so I need my nails as good as possible regardless) and now sitting at my breakfast and watching makes me wanna jump in. I’m low on some stuff and some is not as good as yours but my most revelation of the past year was acid primer and gel tips. And now I somehow have managed to grow my own nails out so that tips aren’t there anymore and I never removed the builder gel layer for months so now I just wanna remove the entire thing and start fresh with different color (also your polish color gave me an idea but I still wanna glow in the dark so I probably will just experiment some) Anyway as always loved the video ❤
Love this tutorial! I love all the tips/tricks.. super helpful. The only part I can't relate to - which I wish I could, is using OPI gel polish - only professionals with a business number can buy them :( unless you or someone else can recommend where to get them. I am in love with OPI Put it it neutral and Bare my Soul but can't get the gel version
check my description box! i’ve linked to beyond polish, a nail supply website that sells to the general public. they have everything! gel OPI, CND, lamps, tools, you name it. 💕
Hi.. im new to doing my nails. Can someone tell me what liquid she uses to wipe off excess gel polish with brush? Is it alcohol or accetone? It doesnt affect the polish?
I do have a question for you my dear. I just love your videos and have watched them many times. My question is when doing a new set what hand do you find it easier to start with?
I'd be careful using cuticle remover directly before applying tips or gel to the nail. It can leave behind residue that impairs adhesion and cause lifting. However, I agree 100% that Blue Cross is the best remover out there. It's also cheaper and so much more product than other brands.
This is one of the best videos I have watched. I noticed a few times that you were using a small pink swab during your video. Was this alcohol wipes being used between some of the steps? I wrote down all your steps and I want to make sure I have this right. It will be my first time doing this. :)
I have watched sooo many videos in the last week, and you are informative and clever. I have subbed, and I no longer want to throw my FECKING PHONE!! Peace😊
wait... builder gel after the dehydrator and primer??? and builder gel instead of a glue... I am confused. I was doing dehydrator, primer, UV glue on nail and tip...
is there any reason you buff off the shine on top of the tips *after* applying them to your nails as opposed to *before*? like do they not cure as well if the top is matte? i just feel like it would be much easier to buff the top of the tips before they're on your nails so you have better access to all the edges and such
I tried to do my nails with builder gel and they popped right off but left the builder gel on as if i made a nail. Do you think its because u didn’t scratch the inside of the nail or something? I want to try again
Hi I’ve been applying the builder gel to my natural nails and I don’t know why I have lifting on the free edge. I apply a dehydrator primer and base followed by 2 coats of biab please help
Thank you so much for this! I’ve only just started doing my nails so this is some great advice! With usingg the primer to help blend (or melt) the tip to the nail, will this method still work if I use a peel off base coat? Like will the nail still lift easily enough when I’m ready?
I definitely have the bad habit of doing my nails late at night, which makes them only last for a week and a half or two week, thanks for the video, as always well done and excellent quality ❤
we’ve all been there. 🫠 thank you for watching!! 💘
I do the same...like at midnight then there's no interruptions🙈
Please do a short on applying a little lower and filling in. I always run into so many problems finding/sizing!❤
Love your standard INTRO, please don’t change it. It is so cute!! Great video as always.
Did my nails using this video as my guide and I can easily say my nails never looked better! I'm new to doing my own nails, could you do the short on how to move the gelx nail up & putting builder gel to fill in between the cuticle & gelx nail?
Yes I want to see a video on that too!!
Thank you so much for this video! I would definitely love to see how you fill in the gap with builder gel when a gel tip is too small and we have to put it up higher on the nail bed.
Such 80s goodness. And I love lamp and pretttty pretttt good- you’ve got the moves girl.
Lol, "I love lamp."
Following this advice ASAP. Thanks for the tips!
For future reference, the white efile bit you were using is ceramic, not carbide.
I love your finished nails! Beautiful!

Gurl, good timing. My life has fallen the fuck apart and all of the sudden my nails are popping off like CRAZY. I'm ready to lose my shit.
Wow moving the tip up a little - would have never thought of that ❤
Hey girl! Always nice to see you

Nail tips for everyone! We need move videos please 💜
You have such beautiful flawless hands.
What are you using to clean with on the brush between coats around the cuticle area? Alcohol or acetone?
Me taking notes even though I’ve been doing my nails 9 months. :) great job!❤

Hi.. im new to doing my nails. Can someone tell me what liquid she uses to wipe off excess gel polish with brush? Is it alcohol or accetone? It doesnt affect the polish?
I use isopropyl alcohol for this step.
Thank you so much for the videos I love the vibe here 🥰

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing…😮 I’m going to do my own now! 🎉
I think you should definitely try the melody Susie gel x lamp that they have the gooseneck not the little one
What is the product you are using to place your hands on. Fantastic tutorial. ❤
I do have a question for you my dear. I just love your videos and have watched them many times. My question is when doing a new set what hand do you find it easier to start with?

Can you please do a video on how you refill and remove your nails?
What is the little blue/green circle you’re resting your finger on as your applying the layers of gel?
I have watched sooo many videos in the last week, and you are informative and clever. I have subbed, and I no longer want to throw my FECKING PHONE!! Peace😊

Going to try this on myself

Would you mind telling me where you got your star signet ring? It's very pretty.
Do you have a video on how to remove them?
Beautiful nails.
I tried to do my nails with builder gel and they popped right off but left the builder gel on as if i made a nail. Do you think its because u didn’t scratch the inside of the nail or something? I want to try again
Do you ever paint and prep the nails before you put them on? I simply cannot for the life of me work with my left hand
Hi I’ve been applying the builder gel to my natural nails and I don’t know why I have lifting on the free edge. I apply a dehydrator primer and base followed by 2 coats of biab please help
Can I use extend gel over my natural longer-ish nails and NOT use nail tips?
Which gel kit is the best yall ? Kierra sky??
I hate hair snag! Do these types of nails constantly get snagged in your hair?
Thank you so much for this! I’ve only just started doing my nails so this is some great advice! With usingg the primer to help blend (or melt) the tip to the nail, will this method still work if I use a peel off base coat? Like will the nail still lift easily enough when I’m ready?
Can you do 101 E-file tutorial
Can you use colored nail polish on these?
gel tipsan is placed near the cuticle ?and how long does it last on the nails, ?does it not damage the nails?
Great tutorial. Thanks New subbie
