Glad to see your finding what Missouri has to offer. Most UA-camrs just pass through. Missouri also has the U.S. oldest Nat'l Fish Hatchery, Mark Twain Nat'l Forest, Branson, Katy Trail, Roaring River, among so much more.

Columbia is a very unique town.....University ofMissouri (MIZZOU) resides in Columbia....We live about 1 1/2 hours south in St. Peter's, MO....The Lewis and Clark Expedition began in St. Charles, MO (wonderful old town with brick streets, antique shops, great restaurants and lots of bars) Where you were at Cooper's Landing Lewis and Clark guided their boat through that area of the river. I think that is an amazing piece of history....The Katy Trail is also very popular....several hundred miles long.🗺📚🏞🤓

The tracks on your van are not raccoon. Raccoons have longer toes and there are five of them. It looks like bobcat or a small cougar. Only cats can jump that high to get on top of your van. Love your channel!

Great video! I liked the food and the guitar duo on stage. Also the other music in the video is way cool too. Do you think a wildlife camera is applicable for your nocturnal visitors? Would it be cool to have a motion detector wildlife camera mounted on your van top? Perhaps the camping spots/parks have rules about wildlife cams? It's like a great camping/cook show everytime!

I had something similar happen to me a few weeks back in northern california - I think it was a bobcat. I'd been eyeing one a couple of yards from my camp spot throughout the day. It was definitely startling!! Similar to you, it moved my van as it was moving around on top of my ford. Yikes! It actually came back that night too, after initially scaring it away, so I ended up leaving the area. Too nervous to take any chances. Safe travels!
