- So today I made Rotis based on the ideal setting of Thickness (1) Roast level (4) and Oil (2) which i figured yesterday. Also, I set the machine to make multiple rotis at once which got the Rotimatic to multitask i.e. kneading the dough for d next roti while roasting the earlier one. In a nutshell, it performed seamlessly and totally as expected. Although the Zimplistic took a really long time to get d rotimatic to work and deliver it to early customers, they have done a great Job and must me appreciated. With the wifi connectivity and future firmware updates, I expect d rotimatic will be enhanced with new features..

hey swati. I was amazed to see this thing work. they took a lot of time, but have done a great Job... it currently supports only aashirwad brand of aata. however it is wifi enabled and connected to my home wifi. they will be pushing firmware updates to increase support for other types of flour. fingers crossed! :) so far it has been a great experience.. cant complain!

Thanks its really helpful and glad to see this thing in actual customers hand . Hopefully we will get it soon . Do u tried with gluten free flours like jwar and bajra roti or bhakri ??
hey. its not underdone. its cooked fully.. u can see that it puffs, which means its cooked. however i think u need to keep the roast level to 5 to get this level of roasting. anything less and you would feel its a bit underdone
hey Pak M N T... i preordered in June 2014. i.e. 2 years back for $520 i guess... but the retail price is expected to be $999 as per Rotimatic website.. but its totally worth even for $999!!! or even more!!

thanks for video review. Can i ask you how long you have been using this machine for and what about availability of parts or after sales service at this point of time by manufacturer?
Secondaly you mentioned you preorederd in june 2014 and so does it took 2 years to get your hands on it???
I hope they perfect it as edges are not cooked at all so I am very unsure if it is as edible as it looks...
it is well cooked but lot of other things to think about...see my other comment for more.
One more question it looks under cooked at the edges . It just looks like that or its really undone .
I don't understand why they support only one brand of flour? How does that make a difference? Do they not provide product support if you use a different brand?
the reason they currently support only one brand of flour is probably because their firmware/software is programmmed for that particular brand.. because the machine has to decide the amount of water and flour to be mixed, it need a software telling the same. as the machine is wifi enabled, its expected that future updates will allow the machine to sipport other brands of flour too. keep some patience.. :)
