    I like the put in refrigerator and let the fat solidify then pick out what you don’t want!! I now have the 6 qt and the 8 qt smart based on your videos and I love them. I’ve put the ninja oven on a shelf!!! Thank you

    Have to use quick release if you want the temp to be where you set it. It can take 30 minutes+ for the steam to let out, and the ham is cooking at 200+ degrees the whole time

  • @laytonminnix3200

    Since that is a fully cooked Ham 140 degrees is the Temp you want. At 190 + the meat starts getting to the pull apart shredded stage. Now if you like it that way then no harm no foul! Some of my best mistakes in cooking has turned out to be my Go To Dishes!! I sure hope you show that Ham Bean Soup Video.

    Thanks! Great video! So, you didn't use anything other than water, ie: spices or juices or anything?

    John. Just a tip…work facing the camera, then we can see you and see what you are doing…perhaps stand behind the worktop and not in front..👍👍😍😍

    The natural release probably added an extra 15 minutes of pressurized cooking time.

    That ham was fully cooked before you opened it. Just needed warmed. I'd like to see from raw. :) Nice videos.

    Hi, why only one cup of water? Is it enough? In my previously viewed videos it's at least 1 liter. Thanks

    Question: if the probe isn't accurate, why use it? I have a Hamilton Beach slow cooker with a settable probe and it cooks such as this exactly to the right temp. 155F is way different than 195F; no wonder parts were overcooked. Are you sure it isn't a defective appliance? You shouldn't be having to guess where the food'll end up...

      I honestly think the over temp was from carry over and the natural release... not a wrong temp reading...

    Hello, John. Does the probe (thermometer) also works in the air fryer mode? Lets say you are air frying a steak and you want it medium rare by using the thermometer.

      Yes... Really neat device!!

      When you use the probe can u have it in any meat while machine is running and lid closed. The cable wont burn or melt or get hot? @@JohnSanders

      @tonysoprano8750 9 місяців тому

      Cause the probe wire looks plastic i was thinking the heat will melt it or the metal at the top will touch it and slowly end up burning it when u close the lid @@JohnSanders

    Hi Mr.Sanders ,aHow accurate is that probe and how long is the cord, do I need to concerned about the cord being burnt or damaged. What all features can you use with the probe.

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  2 роки тому

      I'll have to confirm which features work with the thermometer...a lot of them but not all... the cord is a good length and as long as you pay attention to its placement it should be fine... but I did have a bone head moment with mine...lol... but l pay closer attention to it now...

    Hello John. Thank you for all you great tips and recipe.
    I have 2 Ninja Foodie one purchased at Costco when the Pandemic started and the other one got it from Walmart Delivered which I use for Traveling as contractor 7 months ago.
    They bout are giving me POT code error. any advised, tip how to quick fix?

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  2 роки тому +2

      I've never heard of that....I would contact ninja and always be sure to scan the qr code on the back to register the warranty... only idea is make sure the pot is sitting down in the base completely... but honestly not sure as I have not heard of this issue... maybe someone reading can help
