I am looking to buy this exact same config but from what I have heard that the etx 4070/60 models get a three fan layout instead of the vapour chamber. Can you please share your experience with the fan noise and thermals
I want to buy same configuration but I have same concerns as @no23200 so I would appreciate a lot if you give us some feedback and review regarding that. How are you feeling with it? Any cons that you would like to mention? Thanks from now. 👍👍
Late but I can tell you there’s a battery saver screen automatically enabled and they have other features to help prevent it. Overall it’s a big misconception how big of an issue OLED burn in is in the first place. Now that the tech has progressed burn in is rare
Hi Ben! Just ordered the ASUS Rog G16 with Intel Core Ultra 9 RTX4080 through Best Buy before I saw the AMD Ryzen RTX 4070 version come out. Intending to do 3D modeling/rendering (specifically Revit) & video editing. Haven't come across any benchmarks yet. Have advice on whether I should keep the Ultra 9 RTX 4080 or switch it for the AMD cpu & RTX 4070?
Would love to see s comparison between this and a macbook pro considering they are similarly priced especially for video editing and battery life, thanks
It's interesting that at Computex, the updated G16 (white) is gonna be the new AMD chip. Wonder how it would perform compared to this Intel counterpart.
What’s your opinion on the new Asus ProArt P16? I’m an architect, with a passion for rendering (primarily V-Ray/Rhino) and I’m a bit torn between either buying the new P16 or going for the G16
I can confirm that Zephyrus G16 Auto HDR got me at 900 - 1000 nits bright. Not every games gives HDR at 1000 nits. Hopefully there will be an option to force 1000 nits on all games.
Looking for a new SolidWorks machine, can't wait for you to compare it against the new AMD version of the G16 and the new ProArt P16 which is a "Professional-G16". I love the Zephyrus G16 I just wish it had the battery life the new Zephyrus G14 had.
FOR A MORE BUDGET OPTION YOU CAN TRY THE IDEAPAD PRO 5I WITH INTEL CORE ULTRA 9 185H AND RTX 4050 I HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT AMONTH AND SO FAR NO ISSUES . DECENT BATTERY LIFE (MINIMUM 6HOURS) IN AUTO POWER SAVING MODE. (PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS SCREEN ON TIME. IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT ANY ONE STARES ATH THIER DISPLAY FOR MORE THAN 6 HOURS STARIGHT. IF I TOOK INTERVALS IN BETWEEN [LUNCH,DINNER,WORKOUT] I WOULD EASILY GET AROUND 10+ HOURS). PS:- I WATCHED THE ENTIRE LORD OF THE RING SERIES WITH ONE SINGLE CHARGE (AROUND 11 HOURS COMBINED)
No stylus display is a deal breaker. I would prefer an updated ROG Flow X16. Or a PX16 (bigger version of the newly announced PX13). I am sure one of those two would be announced sooner or later.
i recently got zeph g16 2024 with the intel core ultra 9 and it's simply an amazing maching but i think it would have been better if i had waited for amd version.

I've had the Ultra 9 + 4070 + 32GB version for a few months now and it's awesome!
Love the REAL-TIME feedback from an end user!

I'm an Audio Engineer and would really keen to know what the fan noise is like, is it a loud laptop fan wise?

Who said the panel can reach a peak brightness of 1100 nits? That's not true. It is 400 nits for SDR and 500 nits for HDR peak
The Strix Scar G16 2024 has Mini Led with 1100 Nits, why tf is he using specs of Scar for Zephyrus
Hey, do you have any information on OLED burn-ins?

@@TheDiscussor thank you! I was concerned regarding the usage of programs like Lightroom and others with a fixed interface for prolongued periods
What do you think about ultra 7 rtx 4060 model. I am student and in my country that model $ 1700. Is it worth for that price?

It's gonna be a showdown for sure. I'm so curious as well.
Would love to see a video about that!
Would this machine with the 4070 be sufficient for editing 4k video or is there a better option out there you'd recommended?
I've decided on this laptop. It's a real innovation.
It's a solid pick, for sure.

Awesome video. I really appreciate this. I’m currently comparing Asus Gaming Laptops now. Subscribed!

Everyone is loving this device. I’m so excited that the performance and features are fitting into everyone’s workflows!
will you make a video on the 3 new proart laptops?
As soon as I can GET THEM, yes!

Yes!
The x16 r2 alienware has 2 tb 4090 for 3099 vs the g16 4090 2tb . Which one? Isnt x16 r2 higher tgp
What about fan noises of this laptop?
How well does it handles gaming? As well as Thermals?
I do not know. I am not a gamer. I'd check out Jarrods Tech for those details. :)
watch the video by josh craves tech. Its the best one

how much is the battery backup?
hey really loving your channel and which laptop do you think I should buy lenovo legion 7i or alienware m16 r2????
Thanks for letting me know you're enjoying my videos!
Legion is RAW performance, whereas M16 will give you a bit more fancy features.
What cameras do u use for your videos?
BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k
What would you recommend for someone who uses da vinci resolve and is a photographer that also wants a great battery life
If editing 4k I would check out the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra as it will get a little bit better battery life than this device. howl.me/cmixX9hxC5T
Just a little FYI. USB 3.2 Gen 2 is USB-C only. Those USB A's are probably USB 3.2 Gen 1.
Will it handle a heavy 4k 10bit 422 workflow on Premiere? Multican and everything?
Should have no issues especially with the RTX 4080 version.
Very easily but you need at least 32GB RAM for davinchi resolve studio and 64GB RAM for premiere Pro
I am very excited for GalaxyBook4 ULTRA review.🎉
Editing fell behind a little bit. Should be out next week or so.
Ok

We are backed up right now with editing. Hopefully next week it will be posted. :)
Where is the legion 7i ben?
Ugh... still waiting on a review unit.
There is a new g16 amd version. That's the true best.
Looking forward to reviewing it when I get a chance.
Yeah, but only for 4060 and 4070. Not for 4080 and 4090.
Really nice review, spot on!
Thank you! 🙏🏻
