Blows my mind that the saxophone was found accidentally. Seems so integral to the whole track. After hearing these incredible songs so many times, I can't help but skat along to it. Possibly my favorite OST, which feels doubly special to me that the game was as (unfortunately) obscure as it was. Thanks again for making such an incredible soundtrack.
Never heard of Locomotion, got here by way of Marcel Vos's latest RCT video (about the music). What a jam these tunes are! I know I would have loved this game as a kid from the music alone, I'll need to check it out.
Don't know if you are the real Allister Brimble that created this great music for Locomotion but if you are I have a question...I want to perhaps create a series of videos for twitch and youtube where I will live-stream Chris Sawyer's Locomotion, but I hope that when I play the game in a live-stream that this music is actually played since I have no rights for it. When I use music that have rights in a live-stream, the sound is mostly muted. Are these songs by now rights-free and can they be used in a live-stream or do they get muted as well...

Beautiful remasters!
Locomotion will always be the best Chris Sawyer game ever made. Hands down.
That saxophone riff sounds amazing for a mistake/coincidence!!! It really changes the mood of the first track.
Thank you for your work on such a little celebrated, yet well put together soundtrack.
And the game it came with was plenty good fun too.

You likely would have. I know that I played the absolute hell out of it for years and years.
Major kudos Allister. You've made my week with all these uploads!

Hi, it's the real Allister :-) However I don't own copyright for the tunes unfortunately as I sold them to Infogrames / Atari when the game was made.
Allister, will these remastered tracks be downloadable in flac somewhere? That would totally make my month!
That's a good idea, I could put them on band camp
How did you record new versions? With original layers? Thank you.
do you have the main theme? I would love to hear that in original quality
That was actually done by John Broomhall, and a great track!
@@allisterbrimble1 ah sorry for the confusion, do you think he still has the original uncompressed version?
