some people are saying that he published the end of vagabond, no it's not the end of vagabond we can say the end of musashi maybe, the exhibition was in 2008, and the manga stopped in 2015, we know inoue was working on vagabond and REAL in the same time( he has a family and kids ....working 24/7 is no good) , and the man is getting old guys , which i think one of the major reason why he stopped, and took break .....as some sources say now he will end real and he will get back to vagabond..
Most Japanese manga artists do not have 365 days off when they start publishing in popular weekly magazines. Constantly pressed by deadlines, they become physically ill and mentally ill. Togashi, the creator of Hunter Hunter, broke his back from sitting for too long and is unable to sit and draw, so he writes his manga lying down when he is in good physical condition.
Honestly I already made my internal peace with the fact that Vagabond will likely never have an end. Musashi's story and history is extremely rich, the book by Eiji Yoshikawa is amazing and if you like Vagabond, you should read it, since it was Inoue's main source for writing and drawing the manga, especially at the beginning. We'll never get to see Musashi and Kojiro's legendary duel at Kokura depicted in the amazing and breathtaking art of the sensei, its very sad, but at least we got to see Musashi finally comming to terms with he's ego and the dream of being the strongest.
@@sa.i9353 yeah, I've read it. Truly amazing and beautiful, and it really is the end of Inoue's Musashi. My point is that people should move on, Inoue has clearly suffered from a burnout and lacks the inspiration to continue the story from where it has stopped, and Musashi has some really good adaptations, as good as Vagabond, be it the original novel by Yoshikawa or the many many movie adaptations, the Toshiro Mifune trilogy and Tomu Uchida movie series being my personal favorites

Tbh you actually describe shounen in nutshell.. There is reason why a lot of shounen manga ended up not satisfactory, because a lot of times the author always getting pushed up to always produce chapters every weeks with almost no break even when they ran out of ideas, heck even worse being stretched out while the manga should have ended sooner because it's still popular. I understand the feeling, but honestly we should probably not put any more pressure on him than he already has. It was the same with Miura sensei: ''When is berserk coming back?'', ''George R.R Martin LOL'', ''Ah, c'mon another hiatus?''... And then he died. It's better to have an unfinished masterpiece story than a finished one with a clearly-wasn't-feeling-like-writing-this-but-was-forced-to-do-it-anyway ending. I know a lot of people might still want an ending, and that's okay, but when despite him having said, apparently, that he just hasn't been feeling like writing it, and feels pressured to keep doing it just to prevent ''troubles down the road'' and people keep asking nonstop, I'd say that's not cool.
