Re watching these videos has really fired me up to get out on a trip again soon, especially after this terrible year. Thank you Mr Flyer!
Yes I can't wait to get back out on tour I must say.....I do miss it.
@@TheMissendenFlyer Just watching episode three. Norway looks fabulous, must go there!
I remember watching this video back in 2019, during my last season with my little KTM here in Norway. I've since moved to Lillehammer to study. Lovely throwback - now I actually know where these streets are!
Nice one Jonas - what a beautiful place to live!
A ship can carry a boat, a boat can't carry a ship! Learnt from a friend of mine who's a master mariner. So I'd say the ferry was a ship, and a mahooosive one at that :) Great video as always
The further north you go the more you are going to like it, the ride from Trondheim and northward is absolutely amazing, it's therapy on two wheels!
Norway is a beautiful country, many thanks for the video. It is because of people like yourself that I get a chance to see parts of the world that I will never be able to see.....and by motorcycle (that’s a bonus).
Simply great, worthy of national TV in my book.
Very kind of you Roger!
Unpretentious, plain, without over the top commentary, and Ferry! - this is simply one of the two BEST motorcycle adventure videos; the other is Episode 1 :-))
You are too kind!
LB Ride : agreed
Best part of a Friday... settling down to watch episode 2. Great work again TMF
Cracking watch TMF, lots of funnies in there which had me chuckling, looking forward to next week. Thanks again.
Never missed a video of these adventures. Keep traveling Missenden Flyer.
This series is awesome. Cheers for brining us along.
Thanks - it gets better and better too...stay tuned...
What a lovley trip! Cant stop watching it. Beautiful, just beautiful country roads and Norway itself. Im so happy found this channel. Greetings from one Russian viewer.
Greetings back and welcome along!
Loving this tour, TMF. And the best is yet to come!
It certainly is - just gets better this one!
I’m sitting here watching the video with a smile on my face, enough said really really enjoyable.
Thanks Tony, glad you’re enjoying this series, lots more to come (currently editing episode ten!!)....
The Nordic country's and their people are, brilliant and special. Great tour and appreciation TMF. Can't wait to see further north, as this is an area I wish to visit in future.
Stay tuned Allan....
Excellent!! Brilliant!!! Great!!!. Roll on next Friday.
I appreciate the uniqueness of culture when I travel. Norway looks a beautiful country to visit
I liked this one so much I'm watching it again
Nice one!
Partners been on the magic and the fantasy several times, taking the troops over to Norway for training . Fantastic ship .
Hi TMF, Loving the content, just stunning. The Purple plant is Rose Bay Willow Herb, favourite food for the Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillar. Thanks for the tour
Aha brilliant - I knew someone would know - thanks...
Great stuff TMF , the footage and your commentary is first class even from down here in Australia. A brilliant advertisement for the GS BMW !!!
Not intended to be an advert but thanks for the kind comment! All the best under there - TMF
I suspect the "Unusual little tunnel" (13:28) is a Land Bridge, to enable animals to get from one side to the other without using the road surface. Probably on a migration route for Moose etc.? 'Looking forward to the following vids. well up to your usual standard ;-).
Yup, wildlife crossing. We have them here in Alberta and BC. One that I know of is just north of Lake Louise on Hwy 16.
I came here to mention that. Some 8 months late... :D
What a great video!
Guy @ 3:10 has style beyond measure.
How and why do people give thumbs down to these vlogs? A lot of effort goes into them and guys who make them are admittedly not professionals, I just don’t get it.
Nice one again MSF, love your work.
Thank you....
TMF......sorry
For what?
Thanks TMF. Great job. Enjoyed the video. God bless. Happy trails.
Thanks!
Lovely and oddly familiar. Probably cause I’m from the western isles but live in BC.
The A82 always seamed to have to many caravans to really enjoy it. Plus I crashed my bike there about 40 years ago. I was having lots of fun until all of a sudden I wasn’t.
Heck of a ferry lots of bikes.
Another great episode. cant wait for the snowy bits...
Ah yes, about that.....
Absolutely marvellous, I’m looking at doing this next year. I think you’re right with going with motorad tours.
Yes it was a very well organised trip - don’t forget to tell them you saw it here!
Gosh ... great footage.... great Trip so far. Enjoy and of Kohrs, thank you VERY MUCH. Vielen Dank
Thanks for watching!
Great to see you taking on my homeland. Always interesting to see foreigners actually responding to what they see when riding through. Also, the purple plants are fireweeds, but locally known as Geitrams.
Brilliant, thank you....
Thanks for another fun opportunity introducing many to a place we may not have considered without something like this. Your appeal, at least for me, is you are part travel writer, part adventurer, part gear head. And you are pleasant. Sadly, it’s an unusual combination from motorcycle you tubers. I enjoy your stuff and hope you enjoy producing it.
Thank you very much Jake!
Great video as always! I really like your comments about the places you drive through, and of course the beautiful sound of the wasserboxer, So cool that you are in my country even though I live above the arctic circle. Give us more!
Coming soon Eirik - stay tuned! ...and how far above the arctic circle do you live?
I live in Bodø, 3-4 hours drive from Mo i Rana. Lots of bikers come trough here on their way to Lofoten and onwards. In addition to being a GS owner, Im also a private pilot. Next time you come I'll take you out flying!
A brand new GSA is a lovely motorcycle indeed...
I found the Norwegian speed limit quite relaxing. There's so much to see, no chance getting bored.
Very professional. I love it; looking forward to the next one.
Re-watching all your tour videos... love yir work sir
Glad you like them!
First time watching this tour after planning on riding to Norway from Brighton next summer, it will be my very first tour and a little anxious about it
Don’t be - it’s very easy and you’ll love it!
What a great tour vid TMF. Perfect weather and it looks like a lovely place to visit. I’ll add it to the list and start negotiations.....
ahh coffee and the Friday morning viewing. nice
Another great video. Lots of great roads and fantastic scenery. Not that I'm jealous you understand...........
Lovely country for motorcycle riding ! I am starting to envy you !! Wish you all the best for all your future rides ! CHEERS !!!
Thanks for watching
love the "RIDE ON RIGHT" reminder lol - I remember when i was in Germany and i stopped and had a wonder around the gift shop at the Nurburgring, when i got back on the bike i went down the road for about 100 yards on the left before i realised!
Very easily done....
Awesome that you have visited my country, hope you had a good time.
Fabulous Morten thanks - you’re a lucky chap!
What an epic adventure. I really hope that drone gets airborne. Impressive ship, outstanding scenery & roads. Roll on next Friday for episode 3.
Cheers Russ....drone is back with DJI as I type :0(
That ship was mahoosive!! Great stuff TMF, looking forward to the next installment
Lots more to come...stay tuned Ewan!
Such a beautiful country and great adventure. Used to fly drones commercially, when there working there great but can be frustrating as you found out. Love the vid, cant wait for the next one.
Great vid as ever TMF, Norway is a wonderful place, whilst I was in the Royal Marines, we used to deploy there every winter, the gripe was, the booze was very expensive. Looking forward to next Friday.
Tell me about it Michael! £13 a pint!!
Excellent coverage, as usual TMF.....roll on the next Episode!
Cheers! Lots more to come for the next few Fridays.....
Again very entertaining, well done, waiting for the next episode.
Thanks Martin - loads more to come - next episode up on Friday....
perfect timing in uploading this, just in time to watch over breakfast. looking forward seeing all these episodes
Awesome trip and commentary. Scenery similar to here in Canada and to a trip I did with friends to the Yukon and Alaska 4 years ago. Looking forward to the next instalment.
Another brilliant vid. Looking forward to episode 3 and your progress northwards.
13:30 you maybe aware already, this unusual little tunnel is an animal bridge - to give wildlife a possibility to safely cross the road. Thanks for great story, looking forward to next episodes!
Nice one!
Love the enforced speed limit - makes you enjoy the road without having to worry about throwing the bike around at high speed....
Looking forward to the rest of the tour TMF :)
Glad to hear you enjoyed our country :).
Loved it!
Thank you so very much for this video tour. I’m really enjoying it. Can’t wait for the next part!... Hope the drone comes around.
Wow, you seem to have had a cracking summer in the UK and Europe! Cant believe it was that warm in Norway! Starting to worry how hot it will be come summer here in Australia! Anyway what a great trip its been so far, cant wait to see the rest! That "ferry" blew me away, had to call the missus in and replay it! Cant believe what was on board! Thanks for uploading TMF!
Sounds like you were almost as excited as I was!
That ferry looked magnificent! Beautiful days ride with little traffic and not a white van (apart from the camper) to be seen. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to your next instalment, cheers.
Waiting for part 3 really enjoining it so far ...safe trip buddy ..
Thanks Allan, lots more to come, glad you’re enjoying my efforts....all the best - TMF
I haven't ridden a bike on the road since my DT125 was stolen 25 odd years ago, but your videos are making me look at buying one again... Looking froward to part 3!
Good man!
That white building you saw in Oslo is the operahouse. It’s supposed to look like a glacier. Lovely video, thanks.
Amazing building, not sure about it looking like a glacier but it is impressive!
Wow! Norway is so beautiful.
Another great episode! Looking forward to the next.
I,m a new fan to your channel love your videos the commentary's are great you are very easy on the ear Thank you.
Thank you for saying so Bob and welcome along!
Great stuff TMF. I've just returned from Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France tour up and over alps. Brilliant but now looking to plan the Norwegian/Scandinavia tour for next year and am so enjoying your vids. Thanks for sharing.
Do it, you’ll love it...
Nearly 12 hours now l have sat watching your videos !!!
You lucky person!😉 ....well done!!!
Now every time I roll my trothle hard I say "iiihaaa". Thanks for that! Ha!!
Doing the nc500 + Isle of Skye at the moment... bloody perfect! Loving it!!!
Outstanding!!! The ship was massive, the roads and view are fantastic. I am primarily Norwegian so this is great living vicariously through you!!
Trust me Scott, the views get much better yet!
Loving the trip so far looks great!
A place i want to go to.........but only if i get that weather!!!!😀
Yeah I was soooo lucky this year - another episode coming tomorrow!
Hugely enjoying these tour vids. Very inspirational. I'm a bit apprehensive about these kinds of tours, not sure why tbh. You make them look quite easy and enjoyable.
You should go for it - not hard to do but a great experience!
Great stuff TMF. Looking forward to the rest. I get not wanting to travel in groups or even with anyone else. I much prefer to go it alone.
I like both for different reasons...but in the main I think going solo tips it for me....thanks for watching and for the kind words - all the best - TMF
Roads in excellent condition, streets are all very clean and so quiet. Very jealous. May be for my 50th
Looks fantastic TMF! Making me really consider a Norwegian trip next year.
Shame you missed getting a picture of all the *ahem* scenery though! 😉
Another great video, and Norway looks amazing.
Thanks - it is and it just gets better...stay tuned!
That's a great way to tour. I prefer touring by myself but nice to have some company when you eat your dinner.
Indeed....that is the one downside of going it alone (which I love) - billy no mates at supper time!
This is what it all about with that particular bike, rather than all the adventure bikes you see all kitted out with empty boxes running round the M25! :)
Yep - the perfect bike for the job!
glad to see you having a good time
Thank you for Sharing. The ferry looked fantastic. Great footage in this episode. Shame about the drone Sir. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next episode. Safe riding.
Lovely stuff TMF, thanks :)
50mph!? Stuff that.. 😆
...by about day 3 in Norway that was pretty much the whole groups view....!
Loving this unusual choice for the trip. The effort you put into your videos is plain to see. Inspiring me and giving me all sorts of ideas whilst providing a little adventure fix! 😁
Unusual? You think???
I don't think anyone has ever called Dokka a "nice little place" before. ;) Great video, can't wait for the next one! Fjords on the west coast!
What a great video! I was literally happy when I noticed there was a new episode out! :) Ride safe
Plenty more to come over the next few Fridays!
Hi TMF - great vid and inspiring me to do that trip. Can’t wait for the next and the next ...... Especially looking forward to the coastal fjords! Did a cruise there in 1980 so a land based view is going to be fascinating. By the way ... an interesting live vlog on Weds and thanks again for all your efforts.
Cheers Doc!
great to watch. cant wait to see the next episode, its just a great part of europe. way less people and beautiful nature. sweden is similar in terms of traffic (or lack of) only downside is there speed limits. again, great to be able to follow you upon your journey. thanks for taking the effort to make this series..
I'm really pleased you're enjoying it...
Superb mate, loving it.
That boat is insane !
In a good way though!
Looks like you're having a ball, lovely weather 👍😎
Loving this series !
The adventure continues, been looking forward to this all week! 😊. I’ve never been to Norway so I’m really enjoying the scenery and your everyday observations. Looking forward to part 3! 🏍
You are such a friendly and open minded guy.... and a competent UA-camr either😊
Superb video. Love from India.
Thanks Saroj - glad you liked it....
Much of it reminds me of New England. I grew up on the coast of Maine and much of the footage looks a lot like cruising along on any of the coastal roads there. Very nice! I could be happy and at feel like I am at home in Norway. Hope you get the drone up and running! Good fun TMF!
I must get to Maine!
Look forward to these trip videos, top man keep it up.
Can't wait wait till we see the real Norway ,as much as its lovely so far 👍
Stunning place from memory of a trip many years ago 😀
Although eyewateringly expensive 😒
Tell me about it!
Another beautiful journey with intelligent commentary. Just the job.
That ship was a bit of alright, wasn't it!
Thanks, TMF. 👍
Great video. Thank you
Another great video 👌👍 waiting for the next one. 😊😉
Stay tuned!
Welcome to Scandinavia! Hope Norway, their curvy roads and expensive beer treated you well!
Sure did - loved every moment!
Wonderful looking trip,thks.
Excellent! Takes me back........
WHHHOOAAHHH!!!
Young Scientist of The Year!!!!
TMF... How did I miss that last time I watched this???
MUST tell that story on a random ride? Give you something to talk about on a ride on that new Goldwing.
There's more to me than most realise ;0)
