Small Space House Tour: 450 Square Foot Hard Loft With Exposed Brick and Wood Ceiling

- Ever dream of living in small space with character? This hard loft in the west-end of downtown Toronto is small but filled with history and architectural interest. Formerly a toy factory, this boutique building has kept it's original flooring, windows, brick walls and ceilings. A built-in lofted bed was added to maximize space and create room for a small home office.

Toronto with the hard T, cryin
So nice for an interior design video to admit that it's a part-time space--so many times I watch videos where the space could clearly only work as an AirBnB or part-time stay, but they pitch it like it's the client's whole way of life!
I think House & Home should have the clients speak at the end… it’ll be so good to see how much they love their new space
Lovely, would have liked to have seen the bathroom though.
I Iike House&home! So fun.
What a great little space. I think I would have put the bed under the office. Safer after a night out and a few drinks 😁
Beautiful exposed bricks, love that unique bedroom upstairs the work place.
Please show more smaller space remodels!
Cute, but I wanted to see more of the space including the closet and foyer.
Beautifully done!
Thank you for sharing,
your video is very good,
I love it. Nice to meet you.
Wish you happiness and success in life
lovely home. Love it.
I'd ditch the kitchen table, using a counter height table w/stools since I do cook. Replace the chairs under the bed loft with ones on castors so I could slide out before standing; then move right in!
Beautiful! Love the warmth of the wood and how it blends well with the existing brick. I can’t afford a pied-à-terre, but if I could this would be wonderful.
Hello, everyone, it was mentioned that there is no dishwasher in the apartment and that was presented as a negative or missing amenity you would have in a condo. So my question is....Should a single person living in a small space have a dishwasher in the first place? Does it have value with respect to its usage? Thanks.
Agree don’t really need a dishwasher for a plate and glass after Uber eats. I was wondering about the size of the fridge too. Personally I would have just had a bar type fridge for the milk, wine, butter etc.
I never used my dishwasher. I prefer doing my dishes by hand.
Never understood the popularity of dishwashers.
@@charlotteziggy8353 Agreed!
@@vickimaiorano5763 disagree. A college-size fridge and no dishwasher makes a really poor kitchen. Got to maintain some integrity for a kitchen or it will look like a child’s play space.
@@charlotteziggy8353 you clearly don’t have a family of five!!
Terrific!
There could easily be a bigger dining table in that space
great design...needs a rail for the stairs tho......
First thing I thought of when I saw those
@Madd Scientist I would love to have seen a European design the interior for this former factory space, now condo. For me, this 45m² space was good but not great - in terms of the how to use the dwelling (ie eat, work, entertain, relax, bathe, sleep, storage). I think more creative design solutions would have enhanced living in this condo.
loveeeeeee
I love it except for the size of the rug 🙄
Nice Job. I probably would have did something with the Fridge and wash machine they stick out like a sore thumb. As far as the dishwasher issue. you could have easily tucked in a drawer dishwasher. I would have reconfigured the kitchen a little better. Someone mentioned a island, that would work.
For young couple and also not so young couple.
Which building is this??
24 Noble Street, Toronto.
Why didn’t they show the bedroom and bath! What a jip!☹️
The bedroom is the lofted bed.
Completely underwhelmed.
It's not functional.
it's a glorified hotel room for the individual who designed it
Hi why do you suggest its not functional? 👍
The first minute + of your video is entirely irrelevant "feels good" information. We're here to see the space. Thank you.
Ugly space. No warmth, no soul.
