This is one of the best houses I’ve seen on this channel. I love everything about it. It is narrow but you made the best of it. All of the hidden storage, desks, powder rooms, laundry…genius!
Nicholas Ancerl is a master of his craft. Truly impeccable. The millwork alone is enviable. So well executed. He’s the only designer from whom I can still tolerate a white interior because he balances the contrast so well with natural materials. Would be a dream to have him redesign my home one day.
Now that is the most imaginative- and no doubt expensive, remake of the typical Toronto semi. I owned one many years ago, but could never have envisioned opening up the staircase all the way to the third floor. Would have loved to see what they did with that third floor and basement. Simply gorgeous!
That powder room at 01:59 was worth the price of admission!! Nicely done! I love this house! Between the Canadians and Australians & New Zealanders I have all the great architecture inspiration I can learn from. Thank you for sharing!
Lovely. Alot of balance and functionality! Love the WC it's needed especially when in a rush coming through the front door. The very large plumbing fixtures and furnishings in small spaces but still leaving room to move around comfortably without tip toeing is exactly what you did here well done! 👌
What am exquisite house. I love how some areas are hiding, who needs to see clutter. And the small kitchenette in the bedroom, right by the bed! ❤ I would never leave my room if I had that option. Excellent work by the designers and contractors 🎉
No doubt it’s beautiful and impeccable. But unfortunately not everyday practical. Dark herringbone floors show every spec of dust, I wouldn’t want to have to pull out pocket doors each time to use some heavy use areas so they would stay open (laundry/coffees station/desk etc) and having a WC directly behind the sofa is not optimal for guests to use. I also love a corner banquet for dining but it’s far from the kitchen. And sitting under the stairs in the middle of the home doesn’t feel very relaxing / loungy to me. If my husband attempted to make a coffee in our bedroom at 6 a.m…..lol
Agree. But also very pretty. Here’s hoping it’s not the primary TV watching spot in the house. Also…why would you have the dining room so far away from the kitchen? Nevertheless - it’s beautiful.
Very nicely done! The storage and other surprises hidden in the casework are genius. (Small quibbles: The living area's slim fireplace seems dated already . . . Much nicer design in the bedroom. And don't get me started with all that boucle . . . A fabric that, to me, always looks like the cat got at it!)
The taste & craftsmanship is very high level, but the functionality is a bit off. My immediate impression is that the family room is too tight and while it seems cozy, the sofa is too close to the FP & TV. Personally, I'm not comfortable with having to carry food & plates so far from the kitchen for dining. Also the sink in the hidden powder room is teeny tiny. I would splash water everywhere. But, again, the space is pretty.
The presenter is so well spoken with a very good grasp of English. I'm guessing English is his second language, so i don't know why it bothers me so much that he keeps saying da instead of the. I realise he's speaking with a slight accent but it's curious that he's mastered English so well except for that.
Personally I don’t like the dining area so far from the kitchen and I don’t like banquette sitting if you’re intending to seat many people. I hate trying to squeeze past people or ask people to move while I try to get out if I’m in the middle of that seating.
I enjoyed this home tour very much. I'm not thrilled about being interrupted by an ad, and I'm uncomfortable being shown around by a model (I think), but who could resist the house itself?
I love white, but this is too much. Adding wooden counter stools and chairs could have introduced some warmth into the home. Additionally, the gold trim around the cabinets and fireplace look a bit gaudy and outdated. The open shelving also tends to collect too much dust and always looks cluttered. However, I do like the primary bed, the powder room, and the flooring.
Whyyyy so whiteeeeeeee for heavens sake white is not the be all and end all of interior design…. The human eye can see over a billion different colours and yet we keep painting our homes in white!
White is amazing. Its so calming and peaceful for me. My home is the exact same colour theme. Dark floors, white walls majority white, gold, natural wood accents & furniture. But to each their own.
The whole place is in desperate need of some paint or wall paper. The room designs are nice but the white on white on white looks like a sterile sanitorium.

Right on. Spent 3 billion on the folding bespoke doors. Jeez

This home is SPECTACULAR!

Nicholas Ancerl! I stand in awe❤ 👏
The Bob Ross of interior architecture👋
He’s made an all marble some how seem so soft and inviting.🦋
Very lovely home….very calming and beautifully appointed.
A very elegant house indeed
This house is elegant yet minimal. The fireplace in the bedroom is breathtaking. It's the nicest fireplace I've ever seen.
The design details are amazing!

My fave disgner does it again 👌🏾👌🏾
It's gorgeous and well thought out. Kids and dogs in this house would be challenging 😅
Probably the best design I've ever seen. Truly exquisite throughout.
Very classy and elegant
💯Gorgeous!!!😘
I usually prefer more traditional style but this home is perfectly done GORGEOUS🤩🤩🤩
I'm thinking of renovating my home and this video is giving me so many great ideas. The hidden pocket doors are especially intriguing.
The homes you do are always my favorite. I absolutely love your style!!
I really like the design of this home. Thanks so much.
Absolutely Beautiful ❤
Nick your homes are all stunning a true designer 😊❤
Stunning... especially the kitchen very unique. The floors ❤
Elegant, comfortable, and practical.
Gorgeous. I would have used a dark grass cloth wallpaper in the hidden powder room. Would have looked so chic.
This is truly a beautiful and inventive makeover. All of your videos are next level, but especially this home video!
This is absolutely gorgeous and so functional. Well-done!

STUNNING HOME
Stunning 🙌
most beautiful home.
A truly stunning home.
This guy is so good at creating gradeur
Great look...I do like the dark flooring...bold while everyone else is still doing the white oak!❤😊
Beautifully designed.
This is my ideal home ❤
Brilliant! Such great choices and ideas!
top marks!!!
Absolutely gorgeous.
Bravo! Love the library.
My type of space
Beautifully done
The TV in the downstairs family room is too high. Or the sofa is too close to it. Looks very uncomfortable. But pretty.
Agree. But also very pretty. Here’s hoping it’s not the primary TV watching spot in the house. Also…why would you have the dining room so far away from the kitchen? Nevertheless - it’s beautiful.
Is beautiful i see their vision
You did an amazing job ❤
My favorite 👏🏼🤩
Extraordinaria ❤
Gorgeous😍
He would play a good villain in a hollywood movie.
Little show room like, everything matching. Too contemporary for Victorian house.
Definitely my style!
Very well done. What was the total cost of the complete renovation?
Wonderful👏👏👏👏
A white on white house may photograph well for the internet but would not be my choice during a Toronto winter.
I agree!

Too much white make the layout so bland looking.
I agree. They should have used wooden furniture, such as counter stools and chairs, to add some warmth to the spaces.
Holy Moly 😮
Beautiful ❤
wow!
Beautiful house, but I find the white to be a bit relentless.
Beautiful finishes, would love to see a bit more warmth in the space thru decor

This home is stunning. There is too much white furniture for my taste, but I don’t live there.

Much too contemporary for me, but gorgeous nonetheless! Well done!
Really love his ID so so much!!!!!
I enjoyed this home tour very much. I'm not thrilled about being interrupted by an ad, and I'm uncomfortable being shown around by a model (I think), but who could resist the house itself?
Eventhough I dont like the marbel look and the bedroom is boring , you have done a great job in the rest of the house

Where is the “Shop the Look” version to this!?
Where did you get micro cement ?
Somebody tell me what wall colour they used for entire house?
💯💯💯
Curious, how wide is this house?
Sooo creative and beautiful!
Exquisite!
Gorgeous!
I totally enjoyed your video. Thanks.
Perfection!
Love it!
Too white
Impeccable
it's stunning, but the thought that it was a Victorian and it got totally gutted makes me sad :c
Love it❤
Heavenly!
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exquisite 🎉

calling a series of shelves a library does not make it so,
similarly calling a person a designer requires more than just words.
best regards
does he have an insta account
Does he ever blink ?
Why are you concerned about him blinking when a beautiful home is there for the viewing. 🫤
@@faith1614 why are you concerned by my comment when there is a video to watch ?
2:46 egg white?????????????????????????
