My improvised bobbins for tying off orchids... or fishing lures !

The inspiration for these bobbins is very straightforward. Fly tying is the norm. Why not scale up a bit for my orchids ?
if you've ever dropped a spool of fishing line, you'll know what I mean.

...btw, I forgot to mention to smooth off the ends of the cut wires with a file or abrasive paper.

Imagine having an unsecured spool of fishing line falling on the floor while you're trying to tie off an orchid mount. Not fun !
Necessity is the mother of invention and Frank Zappa would understand.
