An innovative and interesting viewpoint regarding the subject matter of this poem. Greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reminding readers not to bring anything unintentional to a poem. This poem I have long argued as did Frost himself is not about death and certainly not about suicide.
@Sam Spade hhhhhhhhh. it is yours, do whatever you want with it.
So true Nick!
So there is no real hidden meaning... it's just a dude traveling through the woods
ye basically. But it can be interpreted as: the desire to be done with life.
@@warnerhoogendijk5278 No, far from that, the poem is about life, the very journey that life takes us. Miles to go before I sleep; many things to do before I die. Its a beautiful poem, considered to be the greatest poem of the 20th century.
😉😉😉 Whatever sinks your boat.
Thank you for the video...

best video about this poem out there
hi guys … i wondering if there is somebody understood the poem
Not only depression, but contemplating suicide; but Frost said no.
Frost said no. But tell that to the reader? We were given this at school when I was was sixteen. My first impression? disturbing. I'm now 68 and still find it beautifully disturbing.
The artist gets to make the art,
not command what the eye beholds

@@patsavage1245 -- When I was in the 11th grade we had to memorize this in English class and recite it in front of the class. I was so nervous my knees knocked together (as the old saying goes). That was back in 1963. I wonder if kids these days are even exposed to Robert Frost.
@@Dr.Pepper001 I now read purely for enjoyment. I find it somewhat liberating. It's like a good fisherman, catch it, kiss it, and put it back. You don't have to write a 3,000 word paper on a four stanza piece of work. Sheer bliss. Take care (From Scotland).
That is a lot of Ds.
OOOOOOOOOooooo He had to do it to emmm!!!
