Again Dane did a great job of shining her up. I can not express enough what a great shop Zimms is!!! If you are in town you have to go. Ask about the old haunted Gibson.
save the nut filings in a little jar incase you need to fill a nut thats been slotted too deep a little sprinkle of the dust with a drop of superglue is a good way to fill the nut so you can re-slot it with some nut files
I bidded on a striker kramer on ebay a few weeks ago got here for 300 it has non tuning made in Germany Floyd Rose an a USA Jackson pickup an gotcha tuners an it's black
I traded an Ibanez Roadstar for a Kramer Focus 1000 with FR and single pickup in white back in the mid 80's and it sounded horrible compared to the lbanez but it was the guitar to have back in the day .
I had my eye on a black model when they had just come out. I never got it, bit I made up for it later on I'm life. May not be the real 85 Baretta, but it does the trick.
I understand that this guitar needed some work..but it shocks me how many ppl take their guitars in to simply be restrung. I understand if it is a little kid who has parents that don't play, so they don't know how to properly restring a guitar....but I'm talking about adults with 'real', highend guitars that take their guitars in to just be restrung. I absolutely shocks me. hehe.
I agree, a guitar player should be able to do basic maintenance, like a car driver should be able to pump gas without assistance. Plus a restring on a guitar is not that much work, other than a restring on a piano or a harp.
I have the exact same white 80s kramer aerostar that i hought many years ago from a pawn shop, in the late 80s. Tried to learn but never picked it up. These days, my daughter has been trying to learn on it. Need to figure out how to fix the static in the volume knob
Love 80s Kramers. Great necks, even on the cheaper import ones. This one looks like an early 86. Same year as my Striker 100ST.
Another great video Zane, thank you for continiuing to make these.

Can't go wrong with a single pickup Kramer! That's a blank canvas screaming for some stickers, graphics or battlescars!
Another great video of resurrecting a classic axe from the 80's! Well done Mr. Z!
Very cool Kramer
Use two back plates to make one control cavity cover, just split it in two sections, drill a few more holes for the two sections and drop in place.

Well its a plywood Kramer. But at least it does not have a dreaded floyd rose.
Dayne, I'm very happy that business is good. Have a great day too.

Or people sharing their loved guitars, and Danes does more than a restring

First view within 36 sec's of posted!!!
unless your "vintage" kramer is made in usa or japan, its a plywood body. crap instruments.
Go buy a guitar
