@MrPopular22 True ! It's Romanian traditional music, performed by gipsy musicians. But they are romanian citizens and i'm as proud of them as if they were of romanian descent. They are great musicians and that is all that matters, not the color of their skin or ethnicity !!!

We should also stop for a while and think about the other, unnamed Calius who entertained people for hundreds of years around these lands, only to fade away in anonymity, simply because there was no radio, tv or internet during their lives. They are the faceless entertainers who listened, played, refined, improved and popularized this sound with each and every generation, so that Caliu would be able to share it with us today.
You should see them in their medium where they all started - a traditional romanian wedding or party, along with the dancers, guests the whole picture. You wont see something similar anywhere else in the world ... believe me.

Ar fi putut avea roluri de muzician diverse si multe aparitii la tvr dar Statul Roman fir-ar mama lui nu promoveaza talentele ci dobitocii! Omul asta nu e Vali Vijelie sau altii... e un om cu har de la Dzeu chiar daca e tigan! Stima si respect din partea mea! As fi onorat sa am un autograf de la dlui! Ce film, ce frumos a jucat, ce frumos a interpretat ca violonist, ce cultura solida are nu doar in materie de muzica dar totodata cat e de modest! L-am vazut la tv... Nu dlor el nu se imbraca in haine scumpe de fitze desi cred ca si-ar permite! Iubeste muzica si stapanul lui e publicul! Sa traiesti maestre!
Simplemente admirable, fantástico, increible maestría de todos ellos fueran jávenes o viejos y que lo son ... de donde viene la música? ... que gran pregunta y que misteriosa respuesta .. creo que aquí esta el centro del arte musical occidental

If you want to hear and see the real thing, go check on youtube "Ion Dragoi" - the original romanian folklorist. Nevertheless, Taraf of haiduks's interpretaition is marvelous.
