Wow, thats brought back some memories. We had an appartment over the road from Luis dos Frango for a number of years. We love Sao Bras and used to spend our days with a cold beer or a glass of wine sat outside Bonitas Bar.
Hey, Nick. Nice walk, lovely place. I find it amazing that there are so few people out and about at 8am. Not even an occasional sleepy face in a window!! Off the beaten track, out of season, maybe? Ps. I like the architectural weirdness of the town hall (I think) with no windows, and the clinic with that one squiffy window. 😁
My wife and I love the walking video it reminds us of some of the 4K walking videos on UA-cam but yours are way cooler because they’re in Portugal 😁We watch while we’re on the treadmill
A very beautiful and pleasant day there in your 'walk around' tour. I love the sights and sounds in these video's. Such a beautiful place and I find the architecture fascinating! Thanks!
Cheers Nick. Thanks for another walking tour.🚶♀️Two observations: (1) Town is spotless with no graffiti. 👍🏻 Is graffiti more common in larger communities? (2) In the second half of your video, you appear to be in a newer part of town. I noticed most dwellings are four levels but the yellow building at 21:35 (in the background on the left) appears to be five levels. Is it safe to assume that any newer building with 5 (or even 4) levels would have elevators? Just curious. 🧐 Thanks.
Quite a difference from the hustle & bustle of a typical town in the US at 8:00 AM in the morning! What time do businesses open on a Wednesday morning in São Brás de Alportel?
This place is adorable. I just love the distinct charm and character of each city!
Yes, we do have some lovely little towns and villages 👌🏼
OK, the view from the church and mountains is just BREATHTAKING!
Lovely, can't wait to call this home ☺️... Thank you for this video
You're welcome Uche. 👍🏼
Lived in Sao bras for 6 years
Fantastic town!
It's growing fast!

The Easter parade was great last weekend. Good to see it back after the last two years.

That's great John, have you set it up in your home or do you watch in the gym?
Hey Nick, nice tour, thank you. A little talking wouldn't be a problem for me though. I do get the whole walking tour thing though so no worries.

Yes, elevators are all over here in the newer buildings. Only in Porto are they very scarce.
@@AlgarveAddicts Good to know. Thanks!!
Had I known you were in town yesterday morning I would have treated you to post-walk Breakfast! :-D
Had I known you were offering that would have been great! 👍🏼
@@AlgarveAddicts you have a open and standing invitation always!

Is that as busy as that market gets? not many venders either.
No, they were just setting up.
It’s a nice town. But it need people to make it alive, it’s empty
There are 11,000 people here. It's fine.
