- In this video I assemble my hand made V twin engine.
This engine was lost foam cast and then machined on my CNC mill at home in my garage. All off the CAD and CAM work was done on fusion 360.
The engine is based on a crf50/c50/ss50/lifan for the cylinder, head and gearbox.
Make sure to subscribe and if you haven't already, check out the rest of the build.
Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
Jazz and engine assembly is like fine wine and cheese 🍷🧀
Only the best
thank you... I only wish you had an exhaust on the end so you get that little V-twin noise without the poppy-pops of the open ports.
This is still one of the coolest engine builds ever made on youtube.
Thanks you, I will get a video when I get the exhaust finished. I do agree it will sound 100x better with a proper exhaust.
Excellent Video and once again i am super impressed with the quality of your casting, looking forward to see how the bike performs
Thank you, that makes at least two of us.
Brilliant job. Thanks for filming it all.
I’m glad you enjoyed it.
So satisfying watching close ups of everything slot together
Very cool build! Side note, I have never seen a Phillips head hex bolt!
They always seem to be holding the cylinder and head down on these motors, good for quick tightening where you can’t fit a socket.
It’s the only place I’ve seen them.
Gran trabajo, enhorabuena!
So satisfying. Really enjoyed the video. Thanks mate.
No worries, thanks for watching.
Super incredible!!!!!
Maybe using 4 valve head from Yamaha LC135 or Honda C-series/KPH aftermarket head in the next build? I think that would be cool :D
It has crossed my mind using gy6 cylinders and 4 valve heads for the next version of the motor. . . I might get around to it.
has anyone ever fitted just a bigger piston and top end to a 110cc lifan before?
im thinking of trying to mount a 232cc topend end and piston from another engine. it has the same piston pin diameter... could it be as simple as boring the existing casing and redrilling and tapping the head bolts?
I think you’ll run into trouble trying to get the cam chain to line up and the cam chain types might not match. Definitely possible, just a lot of careful planning unless they just happen to be very close.
I have put a 110cc cylinder on a Honda c50 engine making it 88cc, I did bore the cases for that, but that’s like for like.
Fuck yeah, it lives! :) Nice bro
does it go double as good ?
I’ll soon find out, it’ll either go twice as good or have twice the issues haha.
You know it's serious when the green locktite makes an appearance
You gotta do what you gotta do
Hello!!!! Could you share a 3D model of the engine?
Para que le echan aceite a todo conforme lo van armando si eso cuando arranca no dura nada en estar lubricado según usted los motores las fábricas se ponen en esas armando todo en seco le echan aceite ya armado y lo hacen girar primero unas vueltas y ya esta
The motor was tuned over with a drill and the spark plugs out to prime the oil pump. But idling under no load, wear will be minimal. I’m sure you would never notice a difference if you did either with this engine.
😎👍🇺🇲
sounds like a lawnmower
I’m doing some new exhausts for it at the moment, it is sounding much better with equal length headers. I’ll need to post a video of it next race day.
nice a china-ducati 🤣
fucking jazz
