    Good day, guys :)
I turn V type compressor into V type engine using what I have in the shop due to Cov1d-19 lockdown.
I want to explore my knowledge into something different that I never tried before.

The oil routing and using an old pump as a tensioner was smart. I was expecting a total loss system at first. Dunno how long plastic tubes will hold up with the heat though. Looks like #1 is more oil starved than #2. Though it appears both are getting a decent amount to the heads.

In theory you can produce up to 1atm/~14.7psi of boost(Considering we don't have any leak and no extra space between the pump/engine for the air to expend) since the compressor compress air once per rotation while the engine intakes once every 2 rotations.
But a good portion if not more of the power gained will be consumed in the process due to the force needed to compress air, leaks and inefficiencies.

On your DIY lathe, you need to add a torsional torque bar (it needs to be adjustable so you can dial it in just enough that it doesn't twist the head) inside the "gear" box area of a conventional lathe. We had to build a special rig to cut/modify some engines decade or so ago, and until we added a torque bar inside the chassis we built, it always kept twisting a little bit whenever the boring bar would cut into the metal.
The caveat to this is the fact that it can only work in one direction, so if you want to run your lathe in reverse, it won't work.
I'd suggest you figure out a method that doesn't involve welding, because, again, it could twist it out of shape.

to do this you would need $10,000+ in tools and a very in depth understanding of machining, mechanical engineering, assembly and welding

The drawings, gestures, text overlay, little editing tricks, and so on that you use to show what you're doing is very slick, hahah.
It works out nicely and makes for a very interesting and addictive video style!

Superb! Really entertaining project and video. I am guessing that because the original compressor was probably designed to run at slow speed they didn't think about using counter-balances on the crank to help reduce vibration from the reciprocating weight. Might be a consideration for Mk2.
