Here's a tip about the chocolates you gifted to your villagers. Not only do they let you invite them to the island, they also allow you to make them a designer home when you decide to go to work.

with the animal crossing update, they also made a new “Pro Decorating Licence” to buy at the nookstop which introduces ceiling decor such as lights and fans and also accent walls, allowing you to make one side of an interior different to the rest. this will help make your decorating experience in the happy home paradise dlc more exciting! can’t wait to see more acnh! 💜💜

You just need to talk to Lottie to make more homes. You can also design the outside of the home, you can unlock the ability to have roommates when you make enough custom homes. Meaning you can have Octavian and Marina live together. It also works with the theme they both like.

You can also make vacation homes for your villagers when you give them the chocolate. I think u have to talk to them on the resort island or talk to Lottie
Tip you can as make as much vacation houses as you desire everyday!❤❤

I do enjoy playing the Happy Home Paradise part because I get a break from decorating my island. Or I might get a creative idea or two. And there might be something I want to get as well. To use for my island, my house or a villager’s house. Plus it really fun to be creative with the homes
