Excellent one AARON! Some good runs here and love that fly by! 🤘 I'm interested to see the progress of mods and what that does for performance! I had to duck on the 125 just to pass 50mph! Great starting point! -🤘
What front fender is that…I have a 2023 klx140rf and I hate the round front fender and I’m trying to get one like that. Did you buy that from like a website?
Is it the power or gearing? Sounds like it's revving pretty high at 52mph. I mean I have a CT110 postie bike which will hit 60mph on a long straight and it has 50% less power than a KLX140 and weighs around the same.
@@dune7824 the gearing on a ct110 is definitely longer than the klx 140. The 140 is a trail bike, where it’s important to have maximum torque efficiency. ie lower gearing. They’re not trying to squeeze maximum power from the klx 140 from factory as it’s geared as a beginners bike to learn on.
@@AaronsEnduro Thanks mate we get the KLX150BF in Australia and the top speed is 66mph (gps verified) on the highway. Same engine as the 140 but with a 24mm carb in stock trim.
How tall are you man? Ive been thinking about getting this for my girl. She currently rides a crf230 but i believe a lighter bike would be better for her. Im afraid the 140 might be too small though.
@@AaronsEnduro thanks for the reply. I watched your other videos and found that out after I messaged you. Love the enthusiasm in your videos. What state are you in? That land is awesome that you ride on.
You have a ton of great videos!! Have you or anyone done top speed with gearing changes like one tooth larger up front? Any top speed runs with carb and exhaust?
Thanks! I appreciate it! No i didnt because the top speed wont charge no matter what you do unless you change gearing. Thats the only thing that will change top speed
Well top speeds are dictated by gearing setups.(transmission gearing, and front/rear sprocket) So possibly. Klx will just be a little bit quicker acceleration. Curious to re do the test with the big bore kit 170 i have
Still looks like a lot of fun though. I had a crf100 when I was young and yeah even though I outgrew it in a year or two I road the thing any chance I got and loved it. Love your bikes and they’ll love you lol

Its super wicked!
If u did it on the street u would have hit somewhere around 54 to 56
Yeah probably!
My calibration was also a tiny bit off by 1-3 mph lower
Next on the road please

Thanks! I appreciate it! No i didnt because the top speed wont charge no matter what you do unless you change gearing. Thats the only thing that will change top speed
So basically it runs about the same speed as a CRF125

Is this mph???
I did both
Spoiler, klx140rf cannot hit 100 mph, kilo, yes.
Do you ever worry about getting eaten by a grizzly bear?
We dont have grizzly bears here, only black bears which get scared so easily
Although ive been stalked by a couple cougars here, now that gets the hairs on your neck to stand up lol
A Slug...but good for beginners
Definitely aint a rocket ship
But i mean what do u expect for a 140cc lol
This bike is slow af 😂
Its a bone stock 140, what else would you expect lol

100%! Not everything is about raw speed, especially when your ride hard enduro and technical trails
