It's always so fun to do something for the first time. I've also never skiied. Hope i get the chance to try someday. I also would like to learn to skate, but i'm afraid to break an arm in i fall, and if i break an arm , i can't type i.e. i can't work, so... i'll wait until i have some savings in the bank LOL. Just in case. Things i plan to do for the first time in 2023 : trying out watercolor, having tea at the Empress Hotel (it's $89 a person!! The scones better be good and they better have crustless cucumber sandwiches! I'm surprising my BFF with it LOL), riding on an e-scooter and sleeping in a pod hotel (in Whistler). 👍
Hmm, that looked like a good poutine for outside Québec. the ratio of cheese to everything else, though is too low. And now i want one but it's 4 AM and i'm in my bathtub at home in Lévis where no place delivers poutine at this hour. I'll have to head to Ashton tomorrow morning. 🍟
This still looks like fun even if it wasn't a great success for you! Did you find your outfit was warm enough? Did you wish you dressed warmer? I'm always afraid of the cold :P
And yay for the floor!!!!! 🎉 I still don't have tiles in my hallway LOL. There's literally 6 feet x 60 feet of bare floor and it's been like that since 2016. My dad ripped cracked tiles off and every time i wanted to replace them, he was like "No, no, i'll do it eventually." LOL thanks, Dad. Now i want to do it DIy and actually replaced them ALL (which would be something like 100ft long), so i'm waiting to have the time, money and inspiration. Probably not in 2023. I'll get rugs in the meantime.
"I'm done with this shit!" LOL. Yes, that's also my attitude with a lot of things. If it doesn't work, NEXT THING! 😆

I also struggled my first time and just had enough at the end 😅
