His sister ran a health food store in Belleville, Illinois, and I was f fortunate to be invited to her home. She shared childhood stories of growing up with brother Norman. He was a great man. Amazing that he survived having a ski pole in his heart.
Very interesting, thank you so much for sharing your life story. We're very happy to know Clint was a great man. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
I saw the t.v. show "Cheyenne" from its first episode in 1955 & consider this series & its star, one if the the most beloved characters in television history! He was a hero to every child & adult that watched it! If Clint Walker had been born just 20 years later, I feel that he would have become as big an "action movie star" as Stallone or Arnold Swartze- neggar!/ In 2007, I was fortunate enough to speak to Walker, via a radio show & he was most gracious! R.I.P. Clint!
Liked the old western series Cheyenne. Also starring Will Hutchins as Sugarfoot and Ty Hardin as Bronco. Clint also made a guest appearance on The Lucy Show.
Clint Walker was an extraordinary man--impressive physically, of course, but when you consider his real-life character traits of honesty, kindness, intense work ethic, all-round talent, and insistence on justice, as well as his ability to project all of that onscreen, he stands head and shoulders (pun intended) above, not only his contemporaries but all actors in the decades since. One little known fact is that, although Cecil DeMille did give him the part of the imposing captain of the Sardinian Guard in "The Ten Commandments," the famous director actually considered him for the role of Joshua, one of the most heroic men in the Bible. Unfortunately, in this case his height worked against him. As DeMille said, Clint Walker made the other actors "look like stumps!"☺
Indeed it was! Actually 6'6 1/2" 255 pds, 52" chest, 20" arms, 18" neck, door way wide shoulders, long legs, size14 boots, he was Huge in his prime, even bigger then James Arness of Gun Smoke👍✌️

@@FactsVerseAt this point it's a toss up. There are so many great episodes I just can't decide at this point. 🤔
The producers took his exercise equipment away. He had gotten so muscle bound that his movements were limited. He was a dedicated exercise ethic.
