The sad thing about being very young when one watches these films is that inevitably, these great actors start dying off one by one, very sad to see them go.
The same can be said for just about anyone who does anything in the entertainment world. Actors, comedians, musicians, etc. But then again, everyone goes sooner or later. What's said is when you see it coming and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

At least it’s not a lousy composite photo in the initial photo but absolutely sure that is not Lee Marvin! Why the rather dark obsession of showing people in hospital???
Your right he was involved in a freak skiing accident in 1971 when ski pole did pierce his heart but miraculously survived and made recovery and even returned to acting two months later. He ended up living until he was 90 when died in 2018.
@@WalkingOregonDonar you mean Lee Marvin as Lee Marvin died at age 63 but he smoked and drank heavily which contributed to his death from a heart attack
Lee Marvin was 63 but he was a heavy smoker of up to 6 packs a day and drank heavily but his war time experiences in World War 2 affected him greatly. John Cassavetes himself was a very heavy drinker and died at age of 59 from cirrhosis of liver.

I seen the Dirty Dozen when it came out in the movie theaters, great film !! Sad that most are gone now. Time flys by.

Truly great movie with everyone at the top of their game. Lovely mix of humour and action !
One of Lee Marvin's complaints about this movie was that most of the actors were too old to play the parts of soldiers. Still a damn good movie though

All & All our my favourite characters. Bought the book ' Dirty Dozen' way back in 1977.
Great film 😊😊😊😊
The dirty dozen - perfect film !!!! 👍👍👍👍
This was one of the most outstanding movies ever made. The cast was superb.

Pinkley the general ... was the most fun of all the movie
Marvin hated this movie
Next, my favourite: Clint Walker who also starred in the TV series Cheyenne. He died 5 years ago at a good age 9 days short of 91.
I knew Lee, his boat. The blue. Hawaii was great. I knew a few of them, I am what's left. I miss Coburn deeply. We're not all dead yet.
Loved
Great movie
*Degenerate's Movie*
I remember seeing it as a little kid. The audience whooped it up at the first curse words shocking for 1967.All are now gone.
1967 best year best film
They all did NOT die tragically!
Unforgettable actors and roles
Lee Marvin
What is your name soldier no 2 sir R I P ❤

The Dirty Dozen 1967 was made entirely here in Britain

If you can, do voluntary work, it wil give you purpose. Take care.
You mean Lee Marvin ! What a fantastic actor he was !
Shameful production to use as stock photo of someone in a hospital bed that's not your subject. Your channel's just Click - Bait.
You left out Clint Walker who was a major star back then.
Also, actor Robert Webber was left out.

жаль..
need to do your math: If Tom Busby was 31 in 1967...he wasn't 66 when he died 56 years later!
2003-1967=36+31=67. He hadn’t reached his birthday. So he was 66. 😮
RIP Jim Brown "Jefferson"
Franko died young
The men in uniform are accurate. The women, however, were in ‘sixty’s’ clothing and hairstyles.
