We're witnessing a true talent in country music again. He reaches all sorts of demographics and categories of music. Don't see a ceiling for Jukebox. Keep on going Charley.
Yeah...he makes me feel like I'm in my family home kitchen where the radio was always on. I didn't really listen to it though, it was the background music. I heard it, just didn't really listen. Now I'm older, and now I'm getting fond memories and I'm actually listening to Charley.
i think we might be entering a new golden age of country music, the genre has been neglected for far too long my brothers and sisters, but i reckon we're in for a comeback!
I was born in Waco and grew up in the neighboring community of Whitney. I love what Charley Crockett has done by embracing that "old" sound. It's good for the soul. Keep it up Charley. - A man from Waco
I’m beyond thankful we can still have actual country music 👌🏼 thank you Charley hopefully you will come to northern Cali sometime soon. Been listening for quite a few years now and haven’t got to go to a live show. Literally Charley is all my 10 year old listens too especially when he’s out on his horse he does the whole outfit and everything lol definitely want to take him to a show whenever you make it this way. Thank you for the songs you sing.
Charlie Crockett just lets me know real music still exists. I've completely stopped listening to the radio at this point because of the junk we are forced to listen to.
I agree. I have heard many people complain that there isn’t any good music anymore. I would argue that there is more good music out there now than there ever has been, but it cannot be found on the radio. I have not listened to the radio in years, probably 10 years.
My god this guy is so underrated I’ve never in my life went on iTunes and liked every single artist song this guy has got to be one of if not the best country singer I’ve ever heard. I’m sorry but my god
I’m not usually a big fan of country music, but I love Charlie! I saw him perform live at the Hinterland Festival in Iowa yesterday and he was incredible. He’s definitely my favorite newer solo artist in all genres of music!
I'm from Australia so dont know how to pronounce it..but do people from different areas in Texas pronounce it differently? I like the way he would sing it in the album version...interesting that he changed it.
Now this is country western. I watch this every couple of days, probably have to record my own version. Don't make any money here, anyway. Might as well string up some of my guitars and dust off some of my cameras.
I’m here after watching Twisters with his cover of Ghost Riders In the Sky featured in the film. I’m discovering the rest of his catalogue now and this is a masterpiece.

on of my favorite songs from charley is I'm Workin'. not a lot of people can combine country, jazz, blues all into one masterpiece

Punk love him, trad country fans love him. Even my death metal friends love him

You would make a mean spaghetti western soundtrack, great work!
With Bobby Cochran directing!

This guy IS the real deal, preseeving a style of music almost extinct. Awesome. Love it!
It’s country, western, folk music, storytelling, grassroots music!!! 🎶 nothing fancy just a great song/ story that keeps you hooked until it’s done

Can't get enough of this artist's offerings!!! 🎉👋👋👋👋👋
This man, Tyler Childers and Colter Wall are holding country on their shoulders
Leading into an exciting new era of country music!!!
Childers sucks with his pandering to liberal city dwellers.
Childers turned queer
May I add Colby Acuff?
Sturgill
I've always loved Charley Crockett music, funny thing is, I live in a town just fifteen minutes away from Crockett, Texas
Driving from Baton Rouge to Waco bumping this the whole way there
Born and raised in Southern Louisiana. I grew up on waylon Jennings and outlaw country. Your music brings back so many memories. Thank you.
Charlie Crockett just lets me know real music still exists. I've completely stopped listening to the radio at this point because of the junk we are forced to listen to.
Get you some sturgill Simpson
You’re never forced, good stuff is out there. Just have to find it and do what you did which is turn off your radio.
Hoo Yah, lots of real music never passes the Algorithms in Nashville. But it is still here.
I felt the same until I found Marcus King and Los Hermanos Gutierrez.

Man he could make a movie with his music awesome
When I think of Waco, I always think of the late great Billy Joe Shaver. A legend. May he RIP.
He's a diamond now
He's gonna live forever now.@@Nosirrah2112

I haven't messed with country music for awhile but this is real country music
Except it's all fantasy. Nobody is riding around horses to commute. Real music is about being stuck in traffic etc.
@@emmalouie1663there are problems with your argument
Bumping this on the drive from Baton Rouge to Waco
Always find myself coming back to his music
The entirety of “The Man From Waco” album does not miss. Truly great stuff.
His best work yet!
What a great voice for lyrical story telling. A gem of a find. Pls give us more.
This was the first Charlie Crockett song I ever heard. Chills. Absolutely spellbinding. God gave this man a gift. ❤

I like that deep voice and the clarity of his singing. He is really a good singer.
"A moment of burning anger can curse the living through the days" So true these days.
WOW! Real country music. There's still hope!
Charley is the man! He never disappoints!
No one is out here doing it like Charley Crockett.

I dig how Charlie holds his guitar and even more when he dances... Love his story telling... I'm from Waco
Great job Charley!

Charley....What a great song with a haunting story. Just love it!! Dig, DmGrk
This sounds great
Charley,
Nice to see you playing the guild in this video. When you did this live in December 2022. It was 🔥
God love ya, Charlie! And here I was lamenting the fact that almost no one was making real country music anymore!
Glad this was actually filmed in TX! Love it Charley !!
Is anyone else thankful for the fixed pronunciation of Brazos? Bless him ❤
I'm from Australia so dont know how to pronounce it..but do people from different areas in Texas pronounce it differently? I like the way he would sing it in the album version...interesting that he changed it.
@@seancarter3060the way he says it in this video is how people from waco pronounce it.
Bra-zus instead of Bra-zOs

This is perfection! The sound, the story, the visuals, the vibes…. This is just perfect
God damn, I miss seeing them plateau. Please take me home...
My playlists have all rock/blues/pop/metal/dance and Charley is just in there too🤣. I love his old school, almost classy style. Purist. I dig it.
Very classy * ✨
A national treasure.
Kind of reminds me of Marty Robins , El Paso .. Great story lines
i hate mainstream country music but charley i could listen to all day. truly a student of real cowboy music
This is incredible.
I can’t help it. I just like his voice. I like the Western sound. Very refreshing sound.
Softly reminding me of 'Calexico'. This is pure beauty storytelling and music. Genuine...May I express my gratitude

marty robbins meets waylon jennings and he didn't give in to a full sony contract - he didn't want to be molded. A hero....and awesome singer.
Howdy👋 from Mineral Wells Texas. Charlie, keep it up.
Such a refreshing sound!
My lord. We missed to see him in Kansas 2022, the day KU WON the elite 8. Glad you could see the town celebration. More glad to see your success.
Just a comment for the algorithm
This album needs to follow suit of Red Headed Stranger and be made into a film! You,sir, are an American treasure!! 🐊 🐎
Pure talent. Been a fan for 4 years now
I’m not sure how you can ever hope to match, much less top, an album like The Man From Waco. One of the best albums I’ve ever come across.
Marty Robbins style?
Now this is country western. I watch this every couple of days, probably have to record my own version. Don't make any money here, anyway. Might as well string up some of my guitars and dust off some of my cameras.
