It's always a happy day when I get to claw my way up to my sewing room and catch up with you ladies! And I would just like to say how absolutely magical it is when you shout out stitchers. I'm not sure I can describe how lifting it is to hear my name come out of your mouths. I know other stitchers feel the same and I wanted to formally thank you for spreading joy and simply making my day. I love love love Grace's videos and now will be off to watch the other wonderful stitchers. Wishing you all the stitching happiness your heart can hold!🥰
Brenda and Laura you bring me so much joy with everything you talk about as friends in stitching. How very blessed to live close to your bestie and share life’s ups and downs together! And I cannot watch your floss tubes without having pencil and paper handy for all the new patterns, new floss tube channels, new threads, and new fabrics you both share. Whew this floss tube was a Christmas treat of monumental proportion. So now to shopping add to cart, stitching while watching new floss tubes and making joyful projects for others and myself! Merry merry Christmas to both you and your wonderful families this year!❤️🎄🎅🤶🏻🙏
When my children were in grade school, I stitched some of the Lizzie Kate Tiny Tidings as Christmas gifts for their teachers. I love seeing what you gals have in your stash and what you are stitching.
Oh sweet Brenda & Laura, What a wonderful floss tube. This may have been your longest video to date, but I could listen to you two forever! You bring such joy, inspiration, and laughter along with scads of beautiful stitching! Brenda, your newly framed sampler is gorgeous...I am anxiously awaiting two pieces being framed by Ramona and seeing yours makes me all the more excited to receive mine (hopefully before Christmas)! Have a wonderful week (Go BLUE) and looking forward to seeing the ornament parade in your next episode. Laura, I hope to see some of those Christmas smalls projects finished next time, too! Happy Stitching! xoxo
Oh my goodness, a shoutout from Laura?! I cannot describe the shock and awe and utter flattery that I feel right now. The two of you have been my greatest inspirations since I came back to stitching a year ago. So much so that I’ve gone back and watched all your videos twice ❤ if I had known that I’d get a shoutout from Brenda and Laura a year ago, I would never have believed it! Thank you so much for your kind words, Laura. I wish I could have met you at weekend 1, I guess I’ll just have to go to more retreats until our paths meet 😂 From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you 🙏
Carmen you are a superstar!!!! Thank you for making floss tubes. They are an utter delight! I hope we can meet up someday!!!!!!! We would probably burst into flames from the sheer excitement!!!! Sending you a big hug!
Thank you for another wonderful episode. As someone who suffers with Dermatitis on my hands and my feet, I know how hard it can be to stitch with silk.
So much inspiration!!! I couldn't agree more about how kerflewey we are when we can't get settled in our stitching! I think you should both wear those crowns everyday! I am so inspired after watching both of you! Thanks as always and happy stitching!
Queen Brenda and Queen Laura, I enjoyed this episode very much. Thank you for doing shoutouts for other stitcher's social media and shops -- it feeds my habit. My problem is kitting things up. It causes me some anxiety to pick and commit to fabric and I always want to mess with the suggested colors. I tell myself this is my design stamp.....just try it. You both are so encouraging and fun. Thank You!
Thank you so much!!!!!! One of the reasons we suggest having a linen/fabric stash is so that you can audition threads for a piece at home. It really helps. And there is your excuse to start purchasing linen!
Wow! You ladies sure rock the Floss Tube world! I am in awe of all your beautiful selections of soon to be stitched pieces. Love the crown on Irish linen. Thank you for sharing and I can’t wait for the next Floss Tube . Happy stitching! ♥♥
Laura, thanks so much for your idea to keep your Christmas color palette on a separate ring with identifying tag. While watching the rest of your video after that tip, I was able to "ring up" favorite colors I have been using for my Christmas projects. I also made tags to keep out my favorite colors for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. Previously I recorded those favorite seasonal floss color names or numbers after I finished a project and filed the flosses away, but then would have to dig them out again for my next small project. You have saved me so much time and also made my seasonal projects more cohesive. I am thinking I will also save fabric swatches on the appropriate rings as well. Thanks again for sharing your idea. PS: I loved my first Jingle Ball and already have the dates on my calendar for next year.
Thank you Jody!!! What a wonderful idea to have thread rings for other seasons too!!!!! and linen swatches!!!!!! Very exciting! I will be at the Jingle Ball next year too!!! Such fun!
Thank you Laura for sharing your Isabella Keen. She is so beautiful in person and I hope you love stitching her. Hope you both have a very Merry Christmas.
Thank you both for the inspiration you give us all! I just want to go home and stitch! I will be checking out all the floss tubers you mentioned and tracking down a few of the charts you showed. You are enablers! LOL!!! Those lockets are phenomenal! I can't imagine stitching on 46 count!
I love having that piece of stitching I enjoy, a quilt top I am piecing, or a good book I am reading. Then my favorite Flosstube videos to watch!!! Thank you for being one of them!! Between all of those up beat things, leaves me very little time to be down. But it does happen to the best of us. Don’t mean to belittle those feelings. Nice to have this wonderful community to help!!
For crying out loud. I have never stopped a video this many times to go and shop. NEVER. You birds and your enabling are absolute murder on my purse strings. Gosh I love y’all ❤🎄 Merry Christmas to me I suppose 😅
Brenda and Laura, I have watched your show since inception and rewatched so many times. You are wonderful and I look forward to each next episode. But, this last episode was epic. Brenda, your enthusiasm for new flosstubers is electrifying. I was so taken when you said, "stop watching our video and go watch the paisley stitcher, IMMEDIATELY ", well it was like a Laura's law and I did exactly that! What can I say but WOW. You are the reason there is such a community in cross stitching and I just wanted to thank you for your sharing of others that we all do not know about.
Thank you so much Donna!!!!!! We love to shout out other stitchers and especially other stitchers who we know and love personally like Grace. So glad you went to watch her video. Talk about epic!!!!!! Sending you a big hug!
Love you two ladies. You lift my spirits I to not into Christmas stitching yet. Loosing my mom few months ago has knocked me sideways. She never got to see my stitching. So thanks for making me smile today ❤
We are sending you all the love in the world Karen, and our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom. You just get through this season as best you can...do not put any pressure on yourself that you "should" do anything. Treat yourself gently. We are sending you a hug!
Hi Brenda & Laura ,a get floors video ,Thankyou . Just a suggestion, regarding the locket ,you could put it on a pin clasp and wear it as a brooch, that would look so lovely .happy stitching ladies .😍
I so enjoy watching you too..I love all your stitching , and all the patterns you plan to stitch..Brenda Michigan is playing my team Alabama..it will be neat to know you will be watching the same game I am..I dont think we will get any stitching in..Lol..Roll Tide my friend... Blessings to you both!!
Those lockets are stunning; such a lovely gift. Wonderful Christmas chart parade from Laura; I'm working on the 1st Santa too. Brenda, please finish your gorgeous samplers. So much time and love to have hidden away.
Thank you for a great video. I was so excited to hear that you make mistakes on your stitching and move on! I will get more done if I don’t start over every time I miss count by a half a square! Your stitching looked wonderful as usual for both of you!
Thank you so much Beverley!!!! It would be a Christmas miracle if I did not make a mistake....I am sure everything I stitch has a mistake somewhere in it.
Laura loved your story of your cat. I had a cat once and she would swing her paws at my bird ornaments on my tree. I had her for 12 years, I still miss her. Brenda congrats on Michigan. I live in Ohio, not a football fan. The joy in your face is priceless. Thank you for doing these floss tubes. Merry Christmas and good things to both of you in the New Year.
Oh Brenda, you so get me every time! I have done all of those things you just described I have even not stitched for days because I didn't want my project to end. And we all understand what you are going through.
My favorite way to spend my Sunday afternoon!! Come home from church, grab my stitching, pen and paper, and settle in you! My husband says, "Oh, it's the girls!" So glad to see you again and see everything. Wonderful stitching and lots of Christmas ideas. I need an unlimited Visa for Christmas!
OK Ladies, I need to watch this again. My birthday is in December and I need to do some Happy Birthday to me shopping. Plus I need to do some Christmas presents to me. This video is perfect for that. I see so many charts that I want to buy. But first I need to make sure I don't have them. I am going crazy with this video and loving it. Laura, I love it when you say "Oh That Reminds Me" and Brenda I love your reaction too. You two always make my day. Your videos are my favorite. Love you both and Happy Stitching.
What a terrific episode, show and tell with you two is like opening presents Christmas morning! Love your enthusiasm! Laura it was nice seeing you at the Jingle Ball this afternoon, it's a wonderful event. Happy stitching 💚
I agree...you know and support everyone, you're wonderful. And your passion for all things stitchy!! By rights you should have so many more subscribers! Come on guys, subscribe to these wonderful ladies. Oh yeah, and Go Blue!!
Thank you ladies, enjoyable as always. I did as ordered, rushed over and watched Grace, the Paisley Stitcher, you were so right, it was so relaxing and informative. Thank you once again. Happy Holidays from New Zealand.
It took me all afternoon to watch your video today as I had to keep stopping and looking up the things you were showing! Talk about enabling! Laura, it was fun “seeing” you at the Jingle Ball and talking to you! I agree that it is a must attend, and a great value for $10.00! It was so much fun! Thanks for a great video!
You both are so inspiring & comforting to watch! Love watching you both, you make me feel like you’re my friends, have to remind myself that we have never met! Lol! Always show the most gorgeous charts & stitching! 🥰❤️
Hi Ladies! Happy Holidays! Thank you for an awesome video! Laura, wish I had seen you at the Jingle Ball! Had a great time at the Ball! Awesome stitching and so many beautiful projects!
In Episode 103 Brenda showed Every Opening Flower and I was enchanted. I immediately bought the chart, got the floss, got the fabric and began stitching. This is such a lovely sampler and I'm about a far along as Brenda. Then in Episode 104 Laura showed the The Sale of the Zimmerman Farm. Such an awesome sampler with a fabulous border. So I immediately purchased the PDF and started that sampler as well. Since you both mentioned these samplers again in this episode, I thought I'd let you know that your recommendations have taken hold once again. This, during the year that I vowed to NOT BUY ANY MORE CHARTS being that I have to live to be 153 to complete the charts I already own, and I think it's unlikely that I'm going to live past 130 or so. It was great to see you both back this week.
Ohio here…. But MICHIGAN STATE 💚 🤍& Michigan 💙nieces & nephews 🤓 Talk about a little tension.. but a lot of love ❤️ They were all at the game!! OY BTW Laura the floss with Kitty’s can be very dangerous… a good friend lost her baby due to complications.. Kitty had to hav surgery… Just saying… I know we all love our fur babies… Blessings 🎄
My husband was watching football the other day and as I was walking by I noticed that Michigan was playing and I yelled Go Blue. 😂my husband looked at me befuddled. It is your fault Brenda. 😂😂 love you ladies!
Ladies, you out did yourselves today as always!! Fabulous FlossTube!! I will be watching this over and over! I was not into any Christmas stitching at all this year, but after watching this today, I will be ordering some patterns and floss. 🧵 ❤️
Amazing and ever inspiring video ladies! Your stitching WIPS and finishes are so beautiful and motivating always. I was able to snag a spot at Sampler Symposium for January too! It's a dream come true to be going and to be able to visit the attic. I hope I can meet you in person Brenda! I hope both of you find comfort and joy in your stitching this holiday season!
Another great video girls!! So much gorgeous stitching and inspiring projects along with beautiful gifts. Brenda, I am looking forward to seeing your ornaments next time, that will be fun. Your over one initial necklaces are so gorgeous!! Happy stitching………………..
❤ Another great floss tube 👌. Laura, I burst out laughing about the cat! My cats have ruined more floss than I'll ever admit 😂 Happy stitching to both of you
I’m really into football also. Michigan made me happy but KC made me very sad. You both are such enablers. I had to stop the video many times to place things in my basket. 😂😂
Brenda and Laura, You know I just love both of you and I wait to watch you every two weeks. Most of the time I watch and don’t buy everything you show but today I just couldn’t resist. The sampler from my sister’s sampler the ‘Isabella keen’ is just sooo special I just had to buy it immediately!! Have a great two weeks and I’ll see you then!! ❤ Marla
I take college football seriously too but for me it's the university of Utah! Football and stitching it works! Omg i have to have Souvenirs of the heart!
I LOVED seeing Agnes Husband. I have it started. I changed it to an over dyed blue. My maiden name is Husband It was so fun to have the history w it and initials that went w my brothers's names. My heart just jumped when I saw you hold it up for all to see. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So good to see the two of you again. I hope Brenda has her mojo back after all the inspiration today. It can be sad to finish a stitch one loves. I had that with my first 46 count stitch. It was strange as it wasn’t in my most favorite colors and it was huge and had a border stitch I’d never done before but I didn’t want it to end. It got framed surprisingly quick and it’s now on my wall. I love walking through the room and seeing it. I’m sure hubs is tired of hearing how I love it. Laura you are sure having a good run with your stitching and getting a lot done even with all the retreats and visiting you’ve been doing. All that inspiration must be good for you. Looking forward to your next visit .
Thank you for your fun and wonderful comment Mary Ellen! Love the story of your 46 count piece stitched, framed and admired!!!! That is inspiring to me!
Yay for Laura's Annual Christmas Showcase! I was hoping you would be in the Christmas Spirit for this year. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful charts of Christmas.
Thank you so much!!! My Christmas stitching mode is still present and I may keep it up until our next FT and show some more stuff! It just makes me so happy! Christmas charts are my weakness (or at least one of my weaknesses!)
@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I sincerely hope the spirit inspires you throughout the season and in into the new year to come. It is a blessing when our stitching fires us up.
Commiserating with you on finding a project that I can work on now that I’ve finished one that I loved stitching. I bought the flower thread pack and will start Jane Parsons on Jan 1. I am just waiting on linen as I don’t have 32 count and just ordered some. I am in a decision dilemma on what to start next …maybe a small, an ornament, knitting, sewing? Can’t wait to try flower thread and hope I don’t get spoiled!
It was such a treat to watch your video today and I loved everything you said and loved everything you showed. So much fun and enabling and inspiration. Wishing you both a joyous Christmas season.
I attended the Jingle Ball this weekend, which was great fun. You two were mentioned in 2 different sessions that I was in. I thought, I know them! On another topic, I am being haunted by the Floral Motif Sampler. I hear about it on most every video. I just need to give in and get it. LOL. Thanks for all of your great videos!
Thank you so much for the heart felt Thank Yous at the end of the video!! Seeing as I know how much you two love samplers, it was a gift to stitch the Bristol pendants for you two ❤. Loved seeing all of Laura’s Christmas charts, even the darned stockings which are tempting me to stitch them 1/1 on 32 count to make tiny stockings for the tree LOL. Hope you two have a wonderful Christmas season!
Dear Angela, Words cannot convey how thankful we are to you for the very special gifts you bestowed upon us!!!!! Thank you so so much! They are masterpieces and we will treasure them forever. That was very generous of you to stitch them for us!!!! You are very talented!
Oh Laura, I love your S. Clause! I was at Lori Brechlin’s studio Christmas Open House a couple days ago! Such a wonderful place! Primarily loaded with her amazing work! So many beautiful and unique finishes. Spent more than I should have.😅
Congrats to Blue! I have also ordered from Olivia, I love her videos & vlogs. Texstylust started a December vlog, its awesome! Great collection of WIPS & future starts. Marilyn
Wonderful to see you both today. My daughter and I (we live in Texas now, but previously lived in Alabama) we watched the game Saturday, expecting Georgia to win, but Bama took care of business. Today shock-shock we watched as Alabama is in at #4 and set to play against Michigan in the Rose Bowl. Me too. I am very, very passionate about Alabama Football. It has been a crazy up hill climb for us. Cannot wait to get back on the field again. Wishing both teams the best without any injuries!! Also I am from Flint, so playing against MI is always interesting. Have a wonderful week ladies!
Fabulous as always ladies. Brenda you made me laugh so hard about making the crown a pin and wearing it every day to get the respect you deserve. So funny! So glad they arrived safely with you fabulous flosstube friends. 😘
Thank you so so very much Sarah!!!!! We love the Irish linen crowns so much!!! and we really loved the sweet and heartfelt notes you wrote us. Thank you again! And so sorry about the delay in acknowledging such a fabulous and thoughtful gift! We are sending you a big hug!!!
Hi Brenda, First my thanks for your wonderful floss tubes!!! You and Laura are the best. I have problems with my fingers when the weather gets cold. I found liquid skin ( or clear nail polish) and it helps, even with your skin catching on the floss. Good luck. Merry Christmas, Elizabeth
You will enjoy Sew Me Sarah! Her sense of humour and little giggle is so cute! And she does great stitching too. Thanks again for all the enabling today!!
Oh happy day🎉 I am fervently finishing a Christmas present and I KNOW there are many mistakes, adjustments to include the wrong color on a gnome hat smack dab in the middle… in the middle of the project that I did not see until now that I am on the last row within hour or so of finishing 😢😳 So I believe that through your help and validation, the gnome in the middle represents the recipient in her garden🎉❤🎉…. My story sticking to it! Thanks for your hours of joy-

Hi Ladies! Happy Holidays! Thank you for an awesome video! Laura, wish I had seen you at the Jingle Ball! Had a great time at the Ball! Awesome stitching and so many beautiful projects!
Thank you!!!!! I wish I could have spent more time at the ball...it was truly amazing and such fun! Next year we will have to coordinate our tables!
That is so cool Janis!!!!!! So happy that we inspired and reinspired you! That is what happens when we all watch floss tube...such fun!
Ohio here…. But MICHIGAN STATE 💚 🤍& Michigan 💙nieces & nephews 🤓
Talk about a little tension.. but a lot of love ❤️
They were all at the game!! OY
BTW Laura the floss with Kitty’s can be very dangerous… a good friend lost her baby due to complications.. Kitty had to hav surgery…
Just saying… I know we all love our fur babies…
Blessings 🎄
Thank you Sharon....I am going to be extra careful! Glad you and your family can still get along with all of those rivalries!
My husband was watching football the other day and as I was walking by I noticed that Michigan was playing and I yelled Go Blue. 😂my husband looked at me befuddled. It is your fault Brenda. 😂😂 love you ladies!
That is hilarious!!!! He probably wonders where that bit of sports knowledge came from!
Ladies, you out did yourselves today as always!! Fabulous FlossTube!! I will be watching this over and over! I was not into any Christmas stitching at all this year, but after watching this today, I will be ordering some patterns and floss. 🧵 ❤️
We are thrilled that you were inspired to do some Christmas stitching!!!!! It will make your heart happy (we hope!). Thank you for your kind words!

Glad we are in the same boat Bridget!!!!!! I found another skein all roughed up the next day too! Naughty kitties!
I’m really into football also. Michigan made me happy but KC made me very sad. You both are such enablers. I had to stop the video many times to place things in my basket. 😂😂
Thanks Vickie!

Thank you so much Diane!

Thank you so much Arleen!
Brenda and Laura,
You know I just love both of you and I wait to watch you every two weeks. Most of the time I watch and don’t buy everything you show but today I just couldn’t resist. The sampler from my sister’s sampler the ‘Isabella keen’ is just sooo special I just had to buy it immediately!!
Have a great two weeks and I’ll see you then!!
❤ Marla
Thank you Marla!! So happy that you saw a sampler that you want to stitch!
I take college football seriously too but for me it's the university of Utah! Football and stitching it works! Omg i have to have Souvenirs of the heart!
Isn't that the most darling chart???? Get it!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 i will be for sure!
Thank you so much for another wonderful video. I just love watching you two. You really make my day! Take care and stitch on.
Thank you Lori!!!!!!
How exciting Joann!!!! I say start an ornament .....it just gets you in the Christmas spirit!
What gorgeous goodies yall have!!!
Thank you so much you floss bossin girls!
It was such a treat to watch your video today and I loved everything you said and loved everything you showed. So much fun and enabling and inspiration. Wishing you both a joyous Christmas season.
Thank you so much Lorraine! We wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you Debbie! Wasn't the Jingle Ball so much fun!!!!!?? Yes, you need to get the floral motif sampler stat!
Those gifts were amazing!!!
Dear Angela, Words cannot convey how thankful we are to you for the very special gifts you bestowed upon us!!!!! Thank you so so much! They are masterpieces and we will treasure them forever. That was very generous of you to stitch them for us!!!! You are very talented!
Wow, thank you for the fun Christmas overload. I so enjoy watching you two.
Thank you so much Julia!!!!
Oh Laura, I love your S. Clause! I was at Lori Brechlin’s studio Christmas Open House a couple days ago! Such a wonderful place! Primarily loaded with her amazing work! So many beautiful and unique finishes. Spent more than I should have.😅
Oh wow! I wish I could have been there too!!!!!! It must have been amazing! Glad you were able to go Teresa!
Congrats to Blue!
I have also ordered from Olivia, I love her videos & vlogs.
Texstylust started a December vlog, its awesome!
Great collection of WIPS & future starts.
Marilyn
Thanks Marilyn!!!!
Enjoyed your video! I may have to check out the Lizzie Kate patterns. 😊
Thank you Margaret! I think the only place to get the Lizzie Kate charts is at 123 Stitch.
So fabulous 🎉
Thank you Shari!
Wow! That is interesting Cheryl! You will have a fun day watching that game!
I love big hugs! 😉
I just pulled fabric and thread for Humming of the Bees tonight. Yay! Xoxo
That is so exciting!!!!!!!! You and Brenda can be stitching it together!
Thanks for another great video
Thank you for watching Cathy!!!
Thank you for the “comfort flosstubes”! The longer the better!!
Thank you Joanne!
Thank you for that tip Elizabeth!!!!!! We are wishing you a Merry Christmas too!
You will enjoy Sew Me Sarah! Her sense of humour and little giggle is so cute! And she does great stitching too. Thanks again for all the enabling today!!
Thank you Joanne!!!!!!!!
Thank you ladies for a lovely flosstube.
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for your hours of joy-
Yay!!!!! Glad our confession helped you out just in the nick of time!!!!
